Hello! This is my very first post on this website so please forgive me if I'm doing it wrong. ;)

This mod concept sounds very interesting to me!

At the moment, I cannot really mod properly (I need a graphic card that arrives in under a week).

So the main idea is to add a new superflat world type, but for the nether dimension?

And if you have any questions, let me know!

I sent you a friend request on Discord, in case you're still interested.

Hey! Thanks for showing interest and sorry for the late reply.

Yes that is pretty much my idea, but the difference to overworld is, that there are still structures, ores (in clusters, not as a whole layer) and lava oceans, which a normal superflat world usually doesn't have.

The nether fortresses should spawn blazes and wither skeletons, just like a normal fortress would. It can be the same, large structure you can find in a normal nether world, but it could also be a smaller, "custom" structure (I have no idea how difficult that is to implement, but it's not not my #1 priority to be a custom structure).

If you need any more details or have any questions, let me know :) and thanks again for showing interest in my idea

    Hey guys!

I've been playing Minecraft for quite a while now and every now and then I want a new challenge and start a superflat world.

Only thing that I think is quite annoying, is that the overworld is the only true "superflat" world.

So what I would love to have is a nether dimension that is quite similar to the superflat overworld, meaning:
(- Magmaslimes spawning all over the place)

    - A "Nether Village" every few houndred blocks

    - The villages could (but don't have to) have the same structure as a normal overworld village,

but possibly made out of Netherbricks and Magmablocks

There should still be big lava oceans, fortresses and nether quartz.

The bedrock ceiling can either have a few layers of netherrack or be removed completely.

If anyone is interested in making this possible or helping me in any way, I would be grateful :)

Are you typically better at building or redstone?

I love building and I love redstone and automation.I would say that I'm better at building, because my redstone builds are usually copied from tutorials (I do have a basic understanding though, I am just not good at "designing" redstone)

Screenshots (Not required, but increases your chances of getting accepted exponentially):

I reinstalled my Windows and lost all my old screenshots, and that's the only link I could find.

    Have you ever played SkyBlock?:

Yeah I played Skyblock a lot (also Skyblock 2 and 3, with custom loot tables).
But 90% of the servers are public economy servers, and I am quite glad that there is a private "just Skyblock" server (especially the fact that it's a scicraft like one).

Flat bedrock, 4 Layers of Netherrack with quartz in them (but not as a layer). Lava lakes/oceans (can be as big as the normal ones) with gravel and/or magmablocks on the site. And if it's possible, small "veins" of glowstone in the netherrack. But what is quite important is, that it has working fortresses spawning. I'd also love it to have villages spawning (made out of netherbricks and -rack, with netherwarts growing and wither skeletons and zombie pigmen instead of villagers) but if that's taking too much time or is difficult to implement, you can leave it out.

If that's possible, that would be quite amazing.

And thanks alot for investing your time :)

    Thanks for your reply!

EDIT: Thought I would be able to do this in Open Terrain Generator, but I can't seem to find any option that makes it possible to edit other dimensions than the overworld. But maybe it's possible, idk...

I have just posted a request in the forum :)

No idea if it's simple/medium since I have absolutely no idea of coding.

Just tell me if it's possible to implement or to difficult or whatever :) let me know if you have any more questions regarding some details (or structures)
