Hello everybody, i am doing a resource pack and i had an idea about a 2x2 archway using only one upside down stair. So it one Upside down Stair would have to identify if there is another star directly in front of it and right below it, the Below stairs would have to identify stairs above it, and the stairs in front would have to identify stairs on its back relatively. The stairs would then change models to correspond to an archway.
The only problem is that i can't seem to do it, i have no idea, USING OPTIFINE and CTM of how to make the stairs make such decisions. Anyone can help me out?

PvP/Non-PvP: i only do pvp if i find myself extremely bored, but that doesn't happen often in minecraft. so non pvp for me.
Leader/Follower: i'm a follower at heart
Giving/Reciving: definitely interested in giving, won't complain about receiving though.
About me: I am a builder, i'm usually interested on big, practically uncompletable projects that use up alot of resources, the challenging aspects of such resource gathering, mathematical planning, vista finding work is what keeps me playing, where better to try it on a server though, where i can make friends and talk away in a community.

is looking good, at least you know that castles are not made using wool.... stick with stone, but yea maybe some stone brick in there could make some towers and windows stand out from the rest, wich would make your castle look even better!
there is to much detail, remenber that archways are your best friend, make the 40 block wall and make a second tier with archways or columns holding the beast if you know what i mean... what really makes a wall in the end of the day is the top part:

its not getting better, but it definitly isn't getting worse, i have no problem with today's minecraft, sure when we all first played it in alpha it kind of had a magic feel to it, but thats just nostalgia speaking, the only thing i can complain about is that the terrain generation definitly got worst then it was... hope they fix it one day...
