Kelsy quite thoroughly drowned in her music, allowing herself to sink into the beats and rhythms while she gazed off into the gardens. It was something she did quite often at home, and if it weren't for the people there she could probably easily forget that she was away at the Academy. Her fingers silently drummed the tune she was listening to on the side of her leg, a dead giveaway to anyone who was paying attention that she was listening to music.
She probably would've sat there and drowned herself for a while longer if the person she was sitting beside turn, as if to address her. She could'nt exactly hear what he was saying through the headphones, but it was obvious enough that he was trying to say something to her. She pulled her headphones off of her ears, allowing them to rest against her neck as she turned toward the person she had sat next to.
She surveyed the person for a few moments, glancing briefly between him and his dog before responding. "..Hello there." She greeted him, assuming he had said something similar to her when he decided to make conversation.

Mar 2, 2014Kelsy had been scrolling through her songs to pick a good one when she noticed the tell tale bridge leading to the school ahead. She decided her arrival called for one of her , which she played even if it was only to relieve the quickly rising tension she could feel within herself. She started across the rickety bridge with the song playing rather loudly in her ear, safely making it to the other side.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
The school was not entirely what she had been expecting, with a large and almost ominous castle structure standing in place of what her mind had imagined a much more normal, run of the mill school. Then again, she supposed a place that was primed to train demon hunters would'nt exactly look normal.
She walked quietly toward the large building, finding that the size of the place almost reminded her of her spacious home. At least she had that to look forward to, if nothing else. A majority of people were lounging around shaded areas and what she could guess was a garden, either having lunch or chatting with each other as far as she could see. A few were more involved in their weapons, which she mentally noted, even if such a detail wasn't exactly all that important.
She was reminded, however, that it was supposedly lunch time by the multiple articles of food out. She pulled out her phone to double check this, finding her guess to be fairly accurate. Oddly enough, she did not feel hungry, and this decided she would skip out on that meal for the day. She would just make sure she had a nice dinner in order to make up for it.
With the meal issue settled Kelsy walked into the school, finding the inside feeling just as big as the outside. She lightly smiled to herself at that. The place certainly knew how to make her feel right at home, whether intentionally or not. Before she could start asking around about new students, however, a certain poster on the wall caught her attention. She had no need to walk over to it to get a better look, as her exceptional sight from her one eye was more than enough to read the words on the page. Room 1A, then? she silently thought to herself, briefly checking the time on her phone again. She had some time before the scheduled meeting, though whether that was a good thing or not she wasn't entirely sure.
She switched the song to while she was at it before heading back out, steering herself toward the gardens. Her eye briefly scanned over the crowd again before she settled in the shade of a tree that she shared with someone and his dog, whom she mostly ignored as she fell into the world of music for what little time she had before the scheduled meeting.

|Name| Kelsy Meridok
|Personality| Kelsy does her best to be generally nice to everyone, though she can often seem a little drawn out and distracted. She has a bad habit of spacing out and disconnecting from the world, even during dire situations, which has often led to her getting into trouble one way or another. Despite her falsely sweet demeanor she feels she has no close friends that she can confide in, and thus has gotten used to doing many things without asking for any help, even when it is obvious that she needs it.
|Species| Claims to be Human
|Powers| She has no notable powers, unless one included her exceptional sight which is well beyond that of any human.
|Weapons| She is skilled in marksmanship and is rarely found without her trusty pistol somewhere nearby.
|Equipment| She carries no less than five shurikens on her at all times, which she throws with decent accuracy. She also tends to keep a pair of headphones either on her head or slung around her neck when she can, connected to her phone for easy music listening.
|History| Kelsy comes from a long line of a distinctly rich family, known for their hereditary red eyes. Legend has it that the Meridok family carry traces of demon blood in their veins, but all claims toward it have been refused by them thus far. Even so, that did not stop people from holding on to the rumor and belief that the Meridok’s were lying.
As a child Kelsy never got much social interaction, often left to pursue her interests around the mansion when she was done with her tutors for the day. At the young age of four she got into an accident on the second floor of the mansion, falling out a window after a failed attempt at skateboarding through the house. She broke her arm and lost her left eye in the accident, and since then has covered her eye with a white bandage and avoided most personal wheeled objects and glass to the best of her ability.
When she turned nine she took up an interest in guns and marksmanship, enrolling herself into private lessons. She became quite skilled at shooting and even decently well at aiming with shurikens. For her twelfth birthday she was given a personal pistol, and since then has kept it with her at all times, along with a set of shurikens she got the same year.
It wasn’t until she turned fourteen that she caught word of Crimson Aurora academy through eavesdropping on one of her parents guests that came over every so often. She eventually brought up the will to ask her parents to be allowed admittance to the school and after a long session of quarrelling between the three got them to begrudgingly give her permission to attend.
Kelsy was fairly excited when she was accepted into the academy, though at the same time was rather reluctant to leave behind her large home. She had rarely been beyond the garden gates, and thus had little idea of what to expect. Gun and shurikens tucked protectively away she pulled her headphones over her head, turning on some upbeat music as she headed on her way to the academy.
|Other| Her favorite type of music is dubstep, followed closely by nightcore.

The girl on the left.
She has the ability to manipulate gravity. From floating herself to crushing objects around her her power stretches up to a 20 foot radius. However, the larger the radius the weaker the gravity changes are.
Backstory: El was born and raised in the Magma bunker. It was a rather uninteresting life, with a tedious schedule and somewhat strict regulations. El hated it. The repetitive activities and the uninteresting education system quickly beat down any exhilaration or excitememt she could have had, forcing her into a sort or repetitive stupor.
When El was around the age of 14 some talk about mutations swept across the bunker. People who were found with these oddities were often killed. El took some interest in this, as it was something different from her everyday life. Other than the slight ripple caused by the mutants, however, life went on as normal, much to El's disappointment.
On one particular day El found herself being teased by one of her peers, who was repeatedly calling her 'Ellie' based on the simple fact that she despised the name. It quickly got to the point where El wanted to hurt him, although before she could do so the kid passed out, falling to the ground with a dull thud.
That evening El discovered her ability to manipulate gravity. She was playing with the ability in her room, sitting on the ceiling when her mom came in, her jaw slowly dropping when she saw El on the ceiling. With the help of her mother El gathered a small amount of supplies and escaped from the bunker.
After escaping El took some refuge in a small makeshift area known by the name 'Capital'. There she worked on honing her abilities as well as keeping herself alive.
Other: Usually goes by "El", hates being called "Ellie".
Equipment: A pack of crackers and a metal rod often used as a makeshift weapon.

Jaxstrong, minepig, and Ember, I'd like to meet you in game before making any choices...
Also, last call for the PvP poll. It will be closed in about an hour.

Jakes, your app here is missing some things.
mario, your app still feels too dragged on and disjointed. I keep counting multiple grammatical errors, and although there are actually some sentences most, if not all, go longer then they should.
Please try to make it more presentable.
Sep 16, 2013Whoa, a lot of mod apps.Posted in: PC Servers
I'm going to have to start being more tough in my judgments...
mrjoeb, very nice mod app and decent whitelist application, but I am afraid you are missing a vital part in the whitelist that you have yet to add. I suggest checking the rules.
Also, even though you wrote a very nice app for a mod, I am skeptical because of the fact that you have not even joined the server yet. I usually like to allow a sufficient amount of time to get to know a player before I apply them to such a high status. Give it some time.
triston, I am still having problems with your grammar. Many of the sentences seem to run on without end and it gives the app an immature feel. Please try to make it better.
mario, I do not think there is a single period anywhere in your entire application. Please try to add sentences and structure to your app, it is not enjoyable picking through the sea of words to find sense in it...
RedIceMage, accepted. Have fun :3
Speeder, I don't have a problem with your capitalized letters. In my opinion, they are sort of like a typing signature.
Moving on to the app, I think I may have to go along with Dravic in the fact that I haven't seen you around enough to be able to make an analysis. I'd like to play with you in-game a bit, get to know your personality so I can better judge if you are correct for the position. Plus, with all the mod applications people are doing lately, I need to be sure I am thorough with who I nominate.
Notelok, Dawnpaw, Jinx, snesdude, and Mindjacker, accepted. Hope to see you guys soon ^^
mister_ee, basically the same goes for you too in the fact that I want to personally see you in-game a bit more before I apply you to mod. After all, everyone seems to be grabbing at the position now-a-days...
KillerPenguin, please actually read the main post and follow the rules plus the application format. Thanks.
And finally, BreakRoom. Same thing I said at least three times above in this post, I would like to get to know you better before I nominate you... (After all, I don't think we need half the community flying around on creative...)
Phew. Long post. I hope underlining the usernames helped everyone find what they needed.
Sep 14, 2013Sorry Triston, but you'll have to use better grammar and spelling if you want to become mod. Also, try to make your app more detailed. Be a little more in depth on why I should chose you and not someone else.Posted in: PC Servers
That kind of goes for you too Mario, what makes you different? A lot of my mods have been mods before, so that does not really set you out from the rest. Details, Mario, details.

Pretty little divider line.
And sorry for all the above applications I missed, but you will have to write yours again... :c
Anyway, let the new applications begin!
Also, page 100! (Yay!)
Sep 3, 2013Elaine stood near the back of the lab, watching the pokemon and the... half-pokemon, she decided, as they battled a small group of ghosts. She was really only standing in the back because she seemed to be the only one without supernatural abilities, which left her at a disadvantage. While she stood she took a moment to survey the lab, which although looked a bit worn down still had a few gadgets laying around. Of course, she had no idea what the gadgets did, but they were there.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Taking a moment to actually look at the battle in front of her, she found there was a total of three ghosts at the moment, one of which was riding a motorcycle. She suddenly felt a little bad for not really helping out in the battle, but she had a feeling she might screw things over if she charged blindly into the fray. As she debated what to do one of her contacts decided to slide out of place, causing blurriness and also intense itching in one eye. She immediately reached up to realign the contact, her eye already watering from the displaced piece of plastic. "Stupid contacts..." she muttered, trying to keep her itching eye open long enough to realign the contact.
Sep 2, 2013"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've never been here before." Elaine stated. "Unless I had my memories altered or something." Elaine noticed the green light shortly after Dusk did. "There's only one way to find out?"Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
