Hey neon... remember me? Glad to hear you're feeling better! I really wish I could jump back into helping the team full-on, but with work and school and everything I don't have the time... I feel like the team would count on me to do things and I wouldn't be able to get them done by the deadlines. That said, however, if any of your coders need help with something, I can definitely help them out with issues. So... yeah! Once again, happy that you're alright!
gristly,
since you are/were a part of the dev team, could you give us a progress report, if its okay with neon, (i REALLY hopes he gets better soon), or a list of implemented features, and possibly a list of future things
Like I said in my above post, I haven't heard from neon in a while, so I don't know what to tell you, but code-wise I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to reveal, but I will tell you that to my knowledge nothing that we have done has been ported to 1.7 yet.
Well guys, some of you may or may not know, but I was/am part of the team for this mod. A lot of you know that neon's condition rises and falls pretty unpredictably, so I really don't know what to say to you guys. His Skype says he's online, but he doesn't respond to anything. All we can do is wish him the best.
Hello everyone, yes Neon was in the hospital for a bit however he is back!!! *cheer* The mod should be going ahead, however we have yet to hear from many of the coders.
Amazing mod my good sir/madam. Before boorishly demanding of you that myself, the user 'gristly' may have permissions to use animated capes, i would but congratulate you on a fine modification indeed! Oh wait, i just asked you
My SPC disappeared after the Horse Update happened, why was that? ,
Minecraft is programmed in Java. Many java files together make a .jar file, which can be run to run a program. Mods like SPC change or add files to the .jar to change the way it runs. When Minecraft updates, it needs to change files in the .jar in order to update, so it downloads a new .jar. The old .jar with your mods is overwritten, and a new .jar is in its place.

[apparently 1.6.1 is harder to mod and everything becomes more complicated]

False, that is pure rumour sent around by people who don't mod. its just about as difficult to update to 1.6 as it was to any other update, and in fact 1.6 is the beginnings of the Mod API, so modders are pretty happy.
This needs more attention! A concept never done before, I think, and it looks really fun. I'll be sure to check it out once I get back from my cottage.
Life has been an utter disaster. I got into a car accident and totaled my vehicle, I got kicked out of my house and had to room in with a friend, and I got really sick from smoking even though I had stomach surgery and now I'm sort of slowly melting away on the inside (literally) from an inoperable stomach ulster.
Damn man... that really sucks. Hope everything works out for you soon.
OK Everyone, computer's still weird, but I can still model, so over the past little while I have been working on the models for the new mobs. Laptop should be A-OK soon, in the meantime I guess I'll go read some HomeStuck...
Allo all patient fans of this mod, just thought I'd update seeing as everyone seems a bit unsure about how the mod is doing right now. Everyone is doing OK, but neon is a bit under the weather Currently development is pretty slow, as my laptop battery is completely broken, and it's still another week till one ships in, Askaholic is on holiday, and FoxNews is pretty busy with work and other IRL stuff.
