Sounds like he was right about this one. Who goes around on Craigslist telling people they should change their price if they want to sell? are you to marketing insurance fairy?

Not saying that he should change his price, just the way he said things on the original post made it seem like it was some super ultra gaming machine. He said that the computer is worth $900, but was a bit more when he bought it (which is a lie), he also said it plays most, if not all games, on high at 60+ fps, which is also a lie.

Honestly, I don't even know why I bother. He said that it used to be worth $900. No APU build is worth $900 when you don't even have a 500GB HDD and the cheapest memory possible.

posted a message on Idiot? Or just wants money super badly?

This was the email I got after I explained to someone on craigslist that his computer packed with an A8 APU, 1333 memory, and a 160GB isn't worth the $900 he's claiming it to be.

I'd like to clean your confusion up on all the matters you discussed individually, if I may:

By contacting me with your pathetic investigation into the worth of my computer parts and insulting me for the language of my post, I have to assume you're either 1.) Trying to coerce me to lower the price on the PC or 2.) Just being a jerk and trying to prove your knowledge of computers is superior.

In regards to 1.): You're a total idiot.

For starters, 1333 MHz does not result in any significant performance drop when using an APU. Google it. Secondly, my hard drive is all I needed for what I used the PC for. The case is clearly expandable if one would like to add additional space, as you would know if you actually knew anything about building computers. Going off of that point, adding a dedicated GPU to an APU is stupid, as the integrated graphics on the A8 is far more powerful than the 7870. To to sum it up, you have not the slightest idea what you are talking about.

As far as 2.) is concerned:
I listed the full names of my computer parts so prospective buyers were able to look up the worth of the components themselves and judge the value of the post accordingly (as you so clearly did). If they don't feel the product is worth the purchase, I'm not angry at them for not choosing to buy it. Of course the components are at a lower price now than they were before, that's how a free market stays competitive. Add in the fact that I built this computer myself, saving the purchaser of each individual item the price of building the whole set, and it's not far off to claim this PC is a $900 value.

As proof, someone has already bought the computer in fact. We just finished arranging pickup. Unlike the ignorant self you proved to be when you sent me your previous email, my buyer understands the value he is getting for a PC $100 under it's individual-piece price point AND pre-built. Just in case you need a clearer explanation: It means your entire effort to belittle my posting has been utterly useless.

Both of these points prove how masterfully you have failed at either of your two possible objectives. Your fervent scouring of the internet for proof to backup your complains was all for naught.

On that note, I don't ever want to read a word of your ignorance again. Please, do not bother replying to this, as you have been thoroughly discredited as a result of this ordeal and nothing you can say can change the reality of that situation.

    Best regards

    Your age: 16 (turning 17 September 1st)
Name of proposed server: Craftiverse PvP
How much RAM you want: 1-2GB
    How many player slots?: 20
    Preferred server location?: North America

Describe your server idea: My server idea is nothing out of the ordinary. It's a Faction server, but not just some regular server. My server is going to be unlike others. Instead of going out really far and making a base, and then getting a bunch of stuff to raid other people, you will have to really work for your stuff. That way, even if you kill someone with a diamond sword, it will really make you rich. Most faction servers now a days are all about raiding. You can get your items really easily and go off raiding. But on my server, you're going to have to work for it. I'm trying to bring back the old days of minecraft factions.

Why you want this server: I've had a large group of people wanting me to make a server for a while now, and I've been delaying it. The group consists of about 25 active players and around 15 or so that talk sometimes but are silent for the most part.

On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want the server?: 9

Proposed Plugins: Essentials, EssentialsChat, EssentialsSpawn, BetterShop, NoCheatPlus, PermissionsEx, PotionFix, ToggleSneak, Factions, and Buycraft.

How do you plan to generate money?: Timed kits. If you don't understand, let me explain. When someone buys a kit, the kit that they bought will only be active for a certain amount of time, but available to everyone. For example, if I want to have a kit that costs $20, lasts 2 hours, and gives you 10 diamonds every 30 minutes, when someone buys that kit, everyone will get the kit for 2 hours.

Do you already have a community? If so, how many active players? If not, how will you be getting players?: I have a fairly decent sized community. I have about 25 players on a waiting list that want to join my server the second it opens. And another group of about 15 players that want me to open the server so they have something to do, but aren't going to be on the second it opens. Also, my friend has almost 300 subscribers on youtube and can bring a large amount of people to the server. Here's his channel link - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTgxVww2EUyTVc1gSiX1ckQ/videos If you want proof, look in the comments of some of his latest videos. My youtube channel name is damage pirate.

What makes your server special? Why should I join your server instead of that other server?:Why play just another Faction server in the mist when you can play a Faction server, but with on the go shops, and the very balanced economy. On any old Faction server, you can log off and know that if you get raided, you'll just go to your farm and get all of your stuff back in a matter of hours. But with my new system of economy, you will make money off of anything that you do, and everything you sell to the shop is going to be extremely balanced. That way, no matter what you do on the server, you know you're going to make money off of it.

Is there a reason why you can't pay for this server?: I'm on the urge of turning 17. Unfortunately, not old enough to have a paypal account. My parents don't find hosting a minecraft server to be the best use of money and are unwilling to pay for the server for me, knowing that I'm giving them the money to do so.

What is your preferred method of contact? Skype? PM?: Skype. If you would like to help me, send me a PM and I'll send you my skype name.

What you will do for the company in return: If your server is good enough, and the prices are fair, I'll consider buying more ram and stuff of that nature. As an added bonus, I can have signs posted at the spawn saying who is hosting the server. That way, if the performance is good and not laggy at all, people will know who to buy a server from if they choose to buy one in the future.

    IGN: Gregrs

Life story (not really):Currently, I am 16 years old, turning 17 september 1st, and I started "playing" minecraft back in beta 1.5. And by playing, I mean going to my friends house each weekend, staying up all night, building dirt houses. I remember telling my friend that I wanted to be rich, so I made a house out of cobblestone. I even remember digging a massive hole strictly for cobblestone. Nevertheless, I actually started playing minecraft back in 1.0 shortly after the full release. I haven't really played single player because I find it boring and uninteresting. That is why I am here. I love survival, just not alone, I like to play with others because it makes the game much more enjoyable.

I also love to mine and make massive compounds. And by massive compounds, I mean a 75x75 cobblestone box with a ton of stuff inside like farms, redstone machines, living quarters, and so on.

Mojang are the ONLY people who can help with account issues, as they are the ONLY people with access to account information.

They require the transaction ID as that is unique to you and you alone prooving you own the account in question.

If they told you to contact Skrill to get your transaction ID then contact Skrill and they will help you get it back

I tried, I told them that [email protected] (I don't care if people know, the account was deleted somehow) was used to create my account. Then they say that they can't find any information on my account.

You will have to contact mojang. You can email Mojang by going here: https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/emails/new

Note: Do NOT send more than one at a time. It takes about 3 - 4 business days for Mojang to respond, and sending more than one only slows them down.

But can they help? I've tried contacting them before with a similar issue, and all they said was to contact skrill and tell them my transaction ID. And again, I don't have it.

For those of you who don't want to watch the video.

I can log into my minecraft account just fine, but when I try to log on to the mojang website to change my email and stuff of that nature, it asks me for my security question answers, which I don't have. You can always send them via email, right? Yes, but I don't have access to the email I created the account with because it was deleted somehow.

Basically, I don't know the answers to the security questions, I don't have my transaction ID, and the email I used to create the account was deleted.

Alright, now explain how somebody can "tell" if you don't make a youtube video.

Also I'm going to assume jitterclicking is some sort of mouse twerking thing.

Have you seen badlions anticheat? It's incredible. even if you set an autoclicker for 11 times a second, it can telling. Because when you're jitterclicking, you're not clicking a solid number all of the time. you click between a range of numbers. For example, I click anywhere from 14-16 cps, not 15 cps flat.

posted a message on Making seeds mean something
    Quote from Xystem4»

    Edit:

For everyone who says this ruins random worlds, as seeds are only active on SINGLEplayer, (probably incorrect) it doesn't really matter since each player has the option to keep the random worlds or the customized one, and another player's preferences affects nobody but himself. AKA you don't have to use it if you don't want to. (and now that I think about it seeds are a thing in multiplayer to sorry :D )

Seeds do work on multiplayer too, but yes you are correct for the most part.

If this was implemented, random worlds wouldn't be gone, just don't put in a seed, or as you said, just have another option for world generation.
