    Audio
+ Audio effect when getting on and off your horse. Like a rustle of equipment, straps and leather.

    Gameplay

+ Ability to Transport to and from nether while On your horse

+Retweak the timing and execution of the jumping action as you run towards a ledge. Right now I always feel cheated by the timing as I jump at the edge of a dropoff or over a river. Don't really care what part of the horse actually has to be on solid ground when the jump meter is released, it just needs to happen and feel properly intuitive based on the players 1st person view. Its sluggish and I always feel it could be better, eariler.

+ Tone down the damage and ticking sound you get from being caught under a gap 2 blocks high while on a horse, it's just irritating to ride through a door, down steps that aren't high enough and get jabbed constantly with damage so fast.

+Better self preservation skills, AI. They will fight a downward current in water and swim upwards so they don't sit at the bottom like a doofus and drown. Fire avoidance, and if on fire they run where there isn't fire and buck until the fire goes out.

    Extra Wishlist

+craft-able horseshoes, They absorb jumping and falling damage, and don't cause the horse to Yelp in pain after falling. (I've always wanted to fall from 5 blocks after a nice jump and just land it in silence)

+Horses that travel in 2 blocks deep water over a certain amount of time, will "get used" to water and be able to swim for a metered time in deep water. Its like training your horse real time in the environment, instead of feeding carrots to do something.

+Some expensive way of reviving a Beloved horse if they die. Craft a horse "respawn urn", attach a name tag to it, with the same name as horse. When horse dies, you go back to your urn, throw it, and that same horse *poof* comes out. Reunited at last ! (god I hate loosing a good horse, maybe thats part of the game, but crafting the urn should be an undertaking like spawning a wither, or more)

+Horses that are fed once in a while, are more obedient within the first minute when you dismount them. They Stay still and don't wander off as much without a lead. Maybe after a prolonged time, they wander a little. (I hate jumping off for a quick errand and they immediately start walking away)

+Possible Whistle to your horse and they come back ala, Shadow of the Collosus.

+Horse Poop (brown experience orbs) Grows crops better than bonemeal, Kinda rare, happens alot more, the more they are fed. Somewhat of a closed loop crop cycle in some ways.

+Obligatory Lance, or While holding sword, you activate parry mode, but it holds the sword forward like a lance, and will hurt / kill a mob and give knockback (think of Link running forward with sword in LoZ: A Link the Past)

Horses, I love them. They are the best companion mob, and possibly the only mob I truely care about.

posted a message on Swamp+ should be a new sub biome....The Bayou (or Wetland.) PICTURES
I would have no problem finding this in the middle of a forest. Forests are boring enough as is.

I see nothing wrong with a canoe, or Multiperson boat. It's a good idea and encourages teamwork in some regards. Same with a multisaddle horse. Or minecart.

Dr chatter, Go look at what OP said, and didn't say. Then look at your comment. Remember how minecraft is an open world with more than one way players can do things.

No Support. Honestly what's wrong with everyone having a boat.

posted a message on Did the Terrain Become BORING? (UPDATE 6/5/13 - 1.7 is a biome update?)
New terrian does less and less for my imagination to springboard off of. By that I mean, sometimes the more crazy the biome is, the more it gets me thinking about building cool things and making it home. All regular forests are a complete joke, flat, boring, same size tree everywhere. What happened to tall big bushy oak trees with the skinny trunk? The map I've been playing for years has far more inspiring terrain in the world origin areas, that the newly generated parts.

The new biomes aren't taking full advantage of what Minecraft is capabile of. I've seen a mod do nice work with terrain. Id like to see all sorts of hybrid bioemes that fluxuate in their intensity.

I dont care hoenstly if snow is next to a jungle in theory, they just need better gradients that ramp from one to the other over 30 blocks.

Another prob with all these new biomes is.. No new mobs.. no significant items and purpose to go exploring in them. (maybe some new flowers is all they could come up with, or have time for........ with all those millions of dollars Mojang pulls in) Kinda pathetic.

posted a message on Drowing horses can swim upwards.
I lept down in an area I had built with a water fall and a hole. The horse went straight to the bottom and stayed there. I panicked, knowing he was probably gonna drown. The water had a downward pull too. Its hard for a person to swim out of it, but I did it.

So my suggestion, because I hate loosing a good horse. Horses can swim. They swim to the surface for air even if there is downward pull, no matter what the situation is. They also climb the ground to the surface.

I started to fill the 3 block deep hole with some dirt so he had more steps to climb, but just stood there while he drowned, and he did nothing to assist in his own survival. My best horse died.

I did not have a lead on me either, but thats no excuse for a cool mob like a horse to just sit there like an idiot and drown in a matter of seconds.

    ughh.

posted a message on Wood armour
The only reason to add new armors that are stronger than A but less than B... is wearing said armor lets you do something unique. Ie wearing wood armor in a forest makes you invisible to certain mobs, or something like that.

Who would waste their time with anything other than Diamond armor. Fools !

posted a message on Anybody else think "Less ocean = Less awesome?"
A few reasons why the Ocean is a Joke.

Its been around for a while, and it gets no professional attention. Its amature hour with Mojangs Ocean.

No special content has ever crossed into it to make it a worthwhile experience, Its just an empty biome that becomes an obstical dispite all sorts of cool suggestions from people.
    - Mobs (Black jellyfish with downsyndrome doesn't count., you see what I did there?)
    - Blocks
    - Sounds
    -weather effects/ waves

You can do just about anything you need to in any other body of water.

Boats now seam to randomly break in open ocean.

posted a message on 1.7 biome generation
Trees are soo boring these days. Most in these forests are 4-5 woods tall. 2 block clearance with the same puff of leaves at top. Jungle trees are the only ones on a whole looks interesting.

What happened to those big full fluffy trees 20 blocks tall, that became a mini adventure in itself to climb up in and get the wood. I havent seen them in ages in any new biomes.

posted a message on Dark skies / horizon when indoors or under trees.
First time this happened I thought a storm was coming. Its a blunder, they should remove this effect for all cases, and save it for only when Its about to rain. That would be nice.

posted a message on Torch Switch.
How about a special crafting recipe to make a normal functioning torch, but also is a lever switch or whatever.

This would be kinda neat to disguise a switch you don't want to advertize.

posted a message on Idea for a Horse-centric weapon
I completely agree on a jousting style Lance. It can impale, hit, knock back etc.., mobs that you hit with it dead on. Just riding on a horse at a zombie makes me feel powerful like the horse should plow him over like an ORC in LOTR.

Maybe the jousting lance can some in 2 parts. The main part, and destroyable tips (kinda like the same priciple as arrows, you will go through them every time you joust a guy. Maybe a Tip lasts X amount of times before splintering.

Probably wont ever happen, but it would be cool.

posted a message on Food + Stick = Instant Eating
:Ham: :Ham: :Ham: :Ham: :Ham: :Ham: :--+: :VV:
Place food on stick in craft grid. Hold food over a fire to cook it. (Makes it a feel good, dynamic, do-it-yourself method of cooking, where you litereally have to dangle the food near or over a fire)

    1. Food right above flames will cook it normal speed.
    2. Food in fire will cook it fast, but will Burn the food maybe? (you are given a window of forgiveness if you remove it from fire quickly, or right click and the burning food will be put out)
    3. Food slightly next to fire will cook it slow.
    4. Imagine a group of friends all cooking raw chicken over one fire, fighting for positions.

This idea amendment is to remind us all of real life expirencees of roasting marshmellos, or weeniers. Its easy enough, it can be a skill or can just be fun.

Minecraft can use more Roleplay type, Do-it-yourself activies that can serve a functional purpose underneath it all the fun.

posted a message on Why people don't like the witch.
Mojang or whoever reskined the horrid testificante model into a witch was just being lazy. One is a friendly, other is a mob and they have the same sillouette practically (except hat). That is character design 101.

Please admitt to yourselves, the witch model and skin could have been way better, and more memorable. Also, calling it something other than "witch" would have felt more "minecrafty" anyways. like Magic Wench.
