posted a message on Why most are hating 1.9?

That mentality is aiming extremely low. A normal hard working game company can do anything they want. That includes,, dare I say. Making multiple new bosses, and doing them right. There is a certain work ethic behind that idea, and Mojang don't have it. They seam to be running on fumes. lol.. fixing an old boss fight. Hahahahah... HAHAHASHDHASDHFAAAa.

Guys guys!.. did you hear. They REVAMPED a boss fight, that we all fought years ago. It's amazing! No new bosses, or boss varieties, or different places to fight bosses. That would be boring.

Add to this, walking across Rotted planks has a old creaky floorboard sound effect.

The key word is Variance. Forests need variance and gradation.

Tree are awful mostly. All those cloned popsicle stick trees as far as the eye can see. There is no large scale variety within a forest. The spacing is homogenous.

Trust me, there is something better out there.

    Support.

Not only the ocean, but the whole of minecraftia needs a polish Audio pass.

    - subtle Ambient noise for all biomes that actually differs when its night time too
-Sword slashes, Mounting a horse, Falling from different heights,
-Make all sounds in water 5000% better, I've never seen a game that did it right. (running through water, falling from different heights, water drenching off your body when you get out of the water, Make the water sound appropriate and loud when it needs to be.

All this elementary bug fixing is annoying. Do the programmers operate under a system of sloppyness at mojang? Do they check their own work, or just pass it off as half done and let people find it as a bug so later they can waste time fixing it, instead of doing it right the first time. Curious.

posted a message on Ancient areas take on new life.
Nevermind how this would be implemented, It would be a rather neat idea for old areas of your world, especially mines and underground to take on new life if you revisit them. Create mine, leave and never come back for a year. Go back, find a whole bunch of wierd stuff when you go back.

On the server I play, people have spread out, gone exploring and what is left is a host of abandoned mines near the center of the map. Every once in a while I go back into the old mines, but there is nothing really to do. Maybe blow stuff up with TNT?

What if the server had a clock, or an awareness of how "Abandoned" an area was. The longer no one has been in an area once heavily populated, when they come back, its filled with advanced monsters that drop even better loot, mysterious chests, strange growing plants,

An area truely has to be unvisited for this to take effect. It would almost be an after thought like "Ohhh man, my old mountain castle, I havent been there in ages, I forgot about that place"

You go back and something wierd is going on, Red skeletons, Zombie Kings have inhabited there and have taken it over. New iteams to get "Ancient armors" weapons.. etc..

TLDR. Old areas of your map have some new things in them if you revisit and re-explore.

posted a message on If you could add anything to Minecraft, what would it be?
I would add NOTCH, or another team to create content FASTER to minecraft.

In can imagine a senario for an artist at Mojang, it goes like this.

Artist: Ohh k, lets see its Monday, lemme check my work schedule..

10 mins later, (artist creates 10 pixels on a texture map)

Artist: Whheww, that was a hard days work, I'm going home.

Thats how I imagine Mojang right now. lol

posted a message on Smoke from buring things in a fire
More of an addition to immersiveness. Currently no matter what you destroy in fire/lava we hear a **sizzle** sound.

    The Suggestion...

Dumping items into a fire, results in a ploom of smoke particles to can flood an area.

1 item = not so much smoke (default)
    64 stack= creates a Large smoke effect

    Advanced:

Smoke moves upwards against gravity similar to water spreading on the ground.
If you have a chimney, or hole above the fire. The smoke does not spread inside your space - AT ALL. smoke particles go up. (maybe even seen from a slight distance)

Smoke WILL disipate No matter what your space is like .. say in 10 secs all particles fade away. If you keep chucking 64 stack after 64 stack of cobblestone into the fire, its an accumulative effect and your view becomes more and more blocked by smoke? (maybe some coughing sound effects?)
