I think you should make a mystcraft mod bridge. So basically when you load up a mystcraft world you'll get a skyblock or 2 instead of a whole world.

The point of which is? That sounds more pointless than the skyblock in space thing.

I didn't upvote because of the mod. I upvoted because of how you described everything. GG.

Are there any plans to make this mod compatible with Ex Nihilo 1.30 and Thaumcraft 4.1.1?

I made my pool starting at y 48. It was just a simple 5x3 pool, but it does what it needs to.

You know you can outright just make a resonant one?
I know that. I know perfectly fine, thank you. I was simply saying that since upgrading is basically throwing the old one away and crafting a better one, why not make the upgrade recipes use all previous tiers? It doesn't make sense for upgrading from lowest to highest to be more expensive than just crafting the highest and tossing the lowest into a trash can. As it currently stands, I would need to make a leadstone pack into an invar pack, then redstone, then finally resonant. So yes, I could just make a resonant pack and toss out the leadstone, but the upgrade recipes are already there, and what I'm suggesting is an improvement that doesn't impact balance in the least bit.

EDIT: Of course that's only with the non-upgrade recipes enabled.

Since upgrading jetpacks isn't cheaper in any way, I think it would be a good idea to be able to craft any jetpack into any higher-tier jetpack. This way I can turn a leadstone pack directly into a resonant one without wasting tons of electrum and invar.

In early-game agrarian skies, I was starving to death, and any other recourse would take to long and cause me to starve to death. So I made a squid farm out of wood and a platform further away from my island and ate calamari. I have never once starved to death in a jadedcat modpack. Came close several times, but always pulled through.

Natural Gas is needed to make hard plastic, which is needed to make transparent plastic, golden plastic, and flippers. Transparent plastic is used to make scuba mask and with golden plastic to make the F.L.U.D.D.

While I have no clue why you'd need diving equipment on a skyblock, the usefulness of the FLUDD is self-explanatory. It provides flight as well as a way to push enemies off the edge from a distance. And I really like your idea with the coal block and the lava.

I just started delving into Mariculture on Agrarian Skies, and there is one key piece of the tech tree still missing... natural gas. I was hoping a way to get this could be added. The idea I had (to preserve the difficulty of the mod) is to have it so if you place a coal block overtop a lava block, it would slowly convert the air above and to the sides of the coal block into natural gas. It would then have to be harvested the normal mariculture way (and be enclosed and isolated from that lava or bad things...)

What is natural gas even used for? I know you can use it as a fuel, but I have no idea what else it can be used for.

can u add in blaze rods to soul sand?

Then the angry doll would be absolutely worthless and a pointless waste of a diamond/emerald.

    Real dumb luck.
On the plus side, I got ancient spores after sieveing like what, 6 sand? so I can get infinite soulsand, as soon as I re-automate my cobble generator(thermal explansion doesn't work with AM2 that I just got, so I can't use that anymore).

And just a question. How come we can get most hostile mob drops (sieving), but not peaceful mob drops?
And is the gothic/black doll really necessary? I find enderpearls quite easy to get in skyblock

Hostile mob drops are available for players who want to play skyblock on peaceful, or make all of their stuff themselves. Although there is no way to get bones without killing skeletons. You can get passive mobs regardless of difficulty. Also, wouldn't it be odd to find leather in a pile of dirt? I would certainly think so.

I was just saying that such a thing would be rather redundant. It's easy enough to open the edit mods window to get to the button.

I think the netherwart sieve rate is a bit off.
I got a stack of nether quarts, some gast tears(which are supposed to be rarer) but not even a single nether wart

    Dumb luck methinks.

Is it possible to ad a button that would like directly to the mods folder (like the config folder button) ?

Hope you don't mind but I borrowed your signature.

There is already one. In the edit mods window.

I found a minor, but somewhat annoying bug involving hammers and Multimine-- if you hammer a block and pause for a moment at any point before breaking it, it'll drop as the original block rather than the processed block (i.e. cobble will cobble instead of gravel, gravel will drop gravel instead of sand, etc.). While it's an earlier version (I'm still playing on 1.6.4), I didn't find any mention of this with a quick look through the changelogs or a forum search, so I decided to report it.

Probably has something to do with the way hammers work. Instead of editing the blocks to do certain things when affected by hammers, the hammers have recipes. I might be (and probably am) completely wrong about this. That's just what I picked up in my adventures through the source.

Erasmus_Crowley, I just wanted to let you know that I've created a very small mod bridge to allow sieving of a few ingredients for some of Reika's mods. I don't know the rules of posting links to other mods so suffice to say if you're interested search for posts by me. If you wish to contact me, doing so via this forum is the easiest way.

Thank you for such a great mod! I'm using to to bring FTB's TechWorld2 to Skyblock.

You're posting a link to the addon for the mod whos thread you're in. It's fine. In fact,
