Excuse me? If you have something to say, say it. Don't just post random emoticons. It doesn't add to conversation and doesn't tell us anything. If you like the mod, say so. If you have problems with it, tell us what those problems are.

I like to imagine its taking place on a gas planet personally. A pretty blue one...

ANYWAYS, really happy with this existing and such, and I'd like to vouch for BigReactors support too; mainly yellorum dust and liquid reactor metals. Also I would like a refresher on how to get bees/extrabees working in this, I'm making a custom skyblock pack.

I'm rather certain that fluid yellorium/blutonium can be produced with access to just yellorium.

So... you spend ages on your skyblock to make a spaceship to go to space to.....
    Play harder skyblock.
    ....

But that would give you a place to summon mobs like blazes and withers without destroying your skyblock.
Maybe if you add more features to the space station, like making artificial rain/snow/ice, or shooting lazer beams down to earth

A part of the fun of withers is if you do it wrong, then your island gets totaled. If you do it right, it should be safe.

And technically there shouldn't even be an earth. You're on a miniscule plot of land in an ocean of void. There should be nothing to even see from space.

Hey Dude :D Im Soooo Inlove With Ex Nihilo And Ex Aliquo! But One Thing... Is It Possible to Bridge This To GALACTICCRAFT? Please I Will Be So Happy If You Will :D Thanks

It was said before that this would be pointless. He would make every planet void, so the only thing to do is a space station. Which is just skyblock in space.

If you have a moment would it be possible to add something for big reactor compatibility?
the only needed thing is http://wiki.technicp...t/Yellorite_Ore

It would actually be better to use yellorium dust for sifting. Also, since uranium and yellorium are interchangeable, you could just give it the same stats as uranium from sifting.

Marcmagus, you are my hero. Its on by default for me. I didn't even think of Iguana, though I use it in Skyfactory as well (thank you Bacon for adding this to the new update so I don't have to do it manually .)

I can understand being a little miffed at diamonds and emeralds. I will say this about the flint, though. It can be turned back in to gravel to be sifted again.

    Just my two cents.

That was not what you said. I have known about the flint recipe. It's quite useful.

    4.

Very strange. I know I've seen the recipe in NEI. I'm not completely insane ... And it just comes up as "Vanilla" in the tooltips....

Tooltips never show what mod adds what recipes. Only the mod an item comes from.

I'm not completely sure, since it works across both Agrarian Skies and Skyfactory. I'll look in to it at least, since its been useful to get extra ores and the like.

I don't have anything that does that in either skyfactory or AS.

What mod are you using that allows that?

    try getting one automated.
even if you only get like a click per second, it's the fact that you don't have to do anything and it keeps on pumping out the drops that makes it pretty op, and since you can make gravel, sand, dust, and dirt pretty easily, and even soulsand and such are easy when you build up, it's pretty much a endless stream of free items with no interaction ever.

Sieves are well-balanced when you do it by hand, but as balanced when you automate it.

Besides, if sluices where exactly the same as sieves and could be automated, that would make sieves redundant and useless.

You're giving up a bit of speed and a higher drop rate in exchange for automation and the freedom to do other things while you convert your blocks to resources. I'd call it a fare trade

One thing about the sluices: They should be a pain in the ass to setup. Whether it be expensive or having a really annoying part in the setup process. This would discourage people making massive amounts of sluices, and encourage alternative resource generation.

Speaking of resource gen, what options are there? I know there's the laser drill, bees, the botania orechid, blood magic meteors, oreberries, and I think something from ars magica (wow that's actually quite a lot of things), but what else could you use?

I feel like people often forget that your lava+water cobblestone generator gives you cobblestone in place that you can hammer directly. In fact, because of a subtle difference between hammers and picks, there's even less risk of the gravel popping into the lava with a simple setup than there is with cobblestone.

This step is as easy with a book on the mouse button as the others. Hammering gravel down to sand and dust would require some more ingenuity though.

So who wants to write the weak automation addon mod? It seems like there's definitely a desire for it in the mod landscape right now.
Actually, if you're hammering at a standard cobblegen, the gravel will almost never go into the lava. It's some special magic that ex nihilo does that makes drops go to a nearby player. And for holding down the mouse button, I use joytokey with a wired xbox 360 controller. Works great. Press right, it will simulate hold right click. press left, it will simulate hold left click. Very convenient.

I had an idea on the ex nihilo thread, and thought I'd share it here.

What would be great is a thaumcraft alternative to the laser drill. Lore-wise, you use the arcane bore to dig out another universe by using a 'void mirror'. This mirror will not teleport items, but rather will delete them. Lore-wise, it teleports the items to another universe, but with no way to interact with them in this universe, they are lost. You could use golems to drop certain items (I.E. cobblestone) through the mirror to void them.

EDIT: The miner would require a source of alienis aspect to run. This allows the mirror to open wide enough to fit the bore's beam through. The entropy aspect will make it run faster, but is not necessary.

Quick warning: Everyone using the dev channel and using the FTB sync feature, be sure your launcher is up to date. You can do this by launching the FTB launcher once. If you don't do this, then the FTB sync feature will not work. That means that FTB instances will not load in multiMC and FTB icons will not load either. Updating the FTB launcher remedies the problem completely.
