Just a follow-up to my previous question: is there any way in optifine to enable biome specific mobs? It seems as though I used to be able to do that, but not anymore. For example, snow camouflaged creepers spawn in the desert instead of snow based biomes. If MC Patcher is required to get this working, how can I run it and Optifine simultaneously to where I use all the features of Optifine and only the biome specific mobs feature of MC Patcher?
Forgive me if this has been asked before, but is Optifine currently capable of implementing biome/height specific random mobs? I'm running Optifine for 1.8 using Misa's and I'm encountering random mobs that were meant to only spawn in certain biomes. For example, I run into snow camouflaged creepers in the desert. Any ideas or possible solutions?
You have made my day, and have undoubtedly transformed my Minecraft experience. How have I not stumbled upon this glorious pack before now? When I'm itching to play on default textures, this will definitely be my permanent solution! Thank you so much!
Thank you so very much kwerti! Who knew that a simple switch in the settings could make such a huge impact! If only I'd tried that sooner. Your texture pack by the way is amazing!
Hello, I'm brand new to everything related to connected textures. I've fallen in love with Misa's texture pack, and unfortunately it's been unsupported for quite some time now, as I'm sure you're all well aware. My main problem is that blocks are connecting vertically and horizontally, but not on the top of the blocks. They used to in older versions of Minecraft, but not in newer releases. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.
Currently, the .properties file for the sand reads:
height=4
tiles=64-79
width=4
method=repeat
This results in jumbled, discontinuous block textures on the top surface of blocks, but smooth, flowing connected textures on the sides of blocks in horizontal and vertical directions. I've tried using the face=all method, and others, but to no avail. It's probably that I'm just brand new and don't yet know what I'm doing. Any advice or possible solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
