You are a Disgrace to the Modding Community.
You have Killed all the Great Modders.
Cause of this Tool.
Shame on you Pylo. SHAME ON YOU!!
ATLEAST MAKE IT SAY ON THE OP ONLY HOST MODS ON THE MCREATOR WEBSITE!!
Sorry i yelled. Just i am sick of all the People Making good Modders look bad.
Hm. Well, I disagree. I looked through the modding forum just now, and this is what I saw: I saw creative new ideas, new things never seen before, and far less than 165 mods made with MCreator. The ones made with this that I did see where also still creative ideas, some overdone even by people who only code. So, I ask, what's the problem? The modding community is still strong, the people are still creative, and this program has actually sparked more people to learn coding because through coding you are allowed unlimited modding power.
I know how to code Forge mods, but I'm not complaining about this program, because it helps people who feel powerless in the modmaking realm, feel powerful.
As far as any mod goes: It's not the how it's made that matters, it's what's in it.
It won't let me download! It keeps either taking hours or saying network error!
Hrm... Have you tried the newest version? This download error cannot be the programs fault, it must be your internet. For me it takes hours, but that's due to my internet being terrible. For my friend the same file to 5 minutes.
Thanks for answer me! I currently using Windows 7 - 32x bit system.
My internet is fast - 100 mb/sec (no-limit internet).
I see, decompilate stage stuck on download scala library and else 3 libraries (of 42 total) done download.
Hm, try the newest update then, maybe that will work, at least one can hope!
You can get all of the libraries by deleting .minecraft and then installing ForgeModLoader. Then navigate to: %AppData%/.minecraft/lib and you will find files there. Or, your Internet is broken.
Currently MCreator is not made to support Mac. It is a future plan, if I recall, but it has yet to be done. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
I have JDK and JRE7. Programm installing say me "20-60 minutes"
In real life installing not complete after12 hours.
Maybe scala-library (very problematic library) download problem?
P.S. Where i can download all 39 libraries? I have something problem, with decompilation stage... I think in Decompilation stage download stuck.
P.P.S. Decompilation stuck on versions 1.3.2, 1.3.1, 1.3.0 too. It's very bad. I very strong want to use this great program
Hrm... this is very strange. Ok... I can't think of anywhere you can get the libraries needed... Ok, what version of Windows do you have?
Sad, but i can't install MCreator 1.3.3
Why? Can't download all libraries on Decompilation stage!
Maybe author share all libraries need to decompliation?
How many times did you attempt to install? This has happened to me before and it took a few tries to make it work. Also, make sure you have all the pre-required Java files before installation. (Not having Java JDK made this not work for my friend as well.)

There should be a flying options for armor so when you put the armor on, you can fly.
Although this would be cool, I believe it is hard to code even just with Forge itself. I'm sure Pylo will take armor effects into consideration, however.
Thank you for the reply never thought of creating the biome first, will give it a try.
As for the the double entity, i gathered it was a bug and i myself am trying to debug it so if i manage to i will let you know. It all functions as it should, you just get two copies.
Tululaboo
You're welcome! If you find a way around the entity glitch, let me know how, I'd be very interested in making that work.
I have created an item which spawns in the ender dragon but when i activate it, two versions spawn at once. One version is the actual mob which functions as it should without problems but there is another static version which has no animation or movement.
Also with the new dimension maker i am trying to create an extension to the original Minecraft but i am having problems working out where to put entity code within the dimension codes.
I would like specific entities to spawn but i cannot work out where to put the code.
For your first one, I tested this myself, it appears to be a bug with MCreator, I can't find a fix for it in the coding anywhere.
As for your second problem, make a new biome with the spawning entities you want and then use that as the biome base, it should work, but it's just a theory.
A nice idea, but don't you think it takes the "programming" out of "modding"? Programming in itself is a fun experience.
While I agree, some people don't have the time to learn the programming required to mod Minecraft, this little program allows them to do that without the need to take sometimes immense amounts of time learning to program. It's quick and easy, and I quite like the idea.
Hm... Hold on, I was wrong. I'm not getting any of the same issues EXCEPT the dimensions. Those seem to act strangely right now. I'm going to try making a few more and see if they are glitchy as well...
ok a few bugs found here, and some additional features to add...
1) the test environnement doesn't load textures, you have to export to zip and test it yourself...
2) i'm trying to make a simple herobrine mod and when i make the texture and select the zombie model, then export it to zip because of bug #1, the texture of the new mob is messed up... WHY???
3) tried to make a dimension with a gold ground instead of grass, dirt and stone, and lava lakes, ended up making a dimension with grass
floor, empty lakes and lava instead of stone???
I don't expirence any of this issues... Are you sure you have the latest version? The bug with dimensions I know was in an older version at some point. If you are VERY sure you have the latest version (DE 1.3.3 for Minecraft 1.6.2). Once you know it's the newest version and if it still doesn't work, re-download and make a fresh install, that's all I can think of.
Wow, this creator has had a multitude of changes while I was gone! It's looking very nice and I must say, it's well managed. I like the direction it's taking, adding more and more, allowing people who can't code to mod more things into their game and share it. If you ever want any help editing the wiki, I'd be happy to lend a hand.
@stringburka: One question. Did you give it block events? That's a bug right now if you did.
Edit: By the looks of that error report, it seems to not have Forge installed correctly. This could be something with installation, but wait for someone more advanced than me.
@ Xdexlessinal00 and Th3_EnderBrandon: Guys, please stop. There is no need for this. Even though it may be none of my business, I'm not a huge fan of arguments over anything like this. There are a million tutorials for one topic in many cases. So I don't see why you two can't just post your videos whether or not the other person has done so.
Even if you two don't post these, about 50 other people will sooner or later. There is no need to do this. I was going to post some myself, but if this is going to happen I'm not so sure...
(If a mod wishes to delete this part of the post, please do so, I know it's a rant. But, my next part is on-topic.)
On topic:
Will there be another snapshot update in the near future, or do you keep your plans of waiting? (I'm asking because 1.4.6 is supposed to come out this week, and firework support in MCreator would be amazing.)

Live on, mod makers of MC. Live on.

Actually, on the contrary, they HAVE to be Forge. So you're fine there.

That's gotta be a false positive, it's not a Trojan.

Fantastic! GUIs will be extremely helpful!
Well, you can try that. Try changing the Entity area from lightning to a mob of your choice.
Hm, try the newest update then, maybe that will work, at least one can hope!
I hope I'm right too! o.o

Sorry, Mob Spawners don't seem to be on there. Maybe in a future update they will be.
