I quit minecraft for a little bit, because I kept spawning with a pack of wolves that I was always tempted to attack. I got killed over and over again. Finally I learned how to craft a sword, killed the whole pack, thought I was clever and was then killed by a skeleton with a bow.

Wooop. N00bz n shiz. ... Haha why are we all so skilled for?

Hmmm sounds odd. This doesn't usually happen on this server? This could be a number of things - do you know if any other players were around you at the time?

This is a new series I have going. The videos range from less than one minute to around five. I show crafting patterns for some basic (and also not so basic) crafts and also plan on taking these tutorials in the directions of enchanting, finding diamonds, downloading textures and creating servers.

This one IS a Day One tutorial and despite dying it covers all the basics!

So I am yet to do an enchantment, consider yourself lucky that you've even gotten that far!! Haha. From what I understand, there is some random language (the galactic language) that the enchantments are labelled with. There are ciphers on the internet, if you could be bothered. It would save you the heartache I guess.

If you're worried about monsters - this might seem obvious - but just turn it onto Peaceful mode for a little bit till you're ready to face the big, bad minecraft world.

Also, why did you have a jack-o-lantern? haha

The wiki looks great - I've only known it as new as it is, but great! Cheers for the update.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but recently I have become ADDICTED to minecraft. And I posted my first video on youtube just trying to teach people the basics so that when they start, they actually have something to do... haha

This is NOT a video about setting yourself up for Day 1. This is simply a video to show people the different controls of the game and stuff.
