posted a message on Thaumcraft 6.1.BETA26 [no longer being developed]

I'm sorry, this has probably already been asked before. I want to add this mod to an already existing world. I use Amidst (it generates a map of the world) and I've planned out my creations in this world based on this map. If I were to install thaumcraft, would it affect how biomes generate? As in, for lands I haven't visited, will they consist of different biomes after installing thaumcraft than what I currently see on amidst? I'm set on how the map looks in Amidst currently, and I'd rather not have the jagged edges between biomes that occur when there is an update to biome generation. Thanks in advance.

I'm planning on adding a few mods to Minecraft and I was wondering if there were any obvious compatibility issues. I've only done some minor modding with Morrowind and I've installed Optifine before. Thank you in advance, and I'm also looking for mod suggestions.

The mods I plan to install are the following:

    Millenaire

    Goblins!

    Archamedes' Ships

    Mystcraft

    Twilight Forest
