I have noticed this before 1.8 and it kind of makes sense, there is more resistance to movement if you are underwater, you can't move as fast as you can through air, thus why Notch would have made slower mining if you are completely submerged.
Before i would buy my minecraft beta copy, i played on classic minecraft. When i started a new world, i was surprised that the blocks needed to hold the mouse for break them. Does it ever happened to you? Please tell your own experience. :smile.gif:
Can't tell if trolling or just stupid.
Classic was just basically creating whatever you wanted, unlimited blocks, instant destroying, instead of having the hassle of waiting around to destroy a block when you misplace it.
Now it is survival, not creative so it changes a bit.
EDIT:
I guess I had better give some info as well...

P.S.: English isn't my native language, so there should be a lot of mistakes.
I thought your English was very good, unlike most of the people who would fall under the descriptions in your post.
I completely agree with what you have said. I bought the game when my friend said he thought it was my kind of game, I took a look at the video on Minecraft.net and bought it straight away. I saw it as a very interesting game and I still see it the same way. The game is amazing and the good parts of the community make it even better. I only wish that my friend had told me about it earlier, when all I knew was Call of Duty 4. It was a way to pass the time but it got boring very quickly and with the added help of angry players, it moved me away from it completely.
This is my favourite game and I can only hope that people stop acting like idiots and just have fun without the need of insults.
I got a black screen when I first updated to 1.8, so I just deleted the minecraft folder in Application Support and re-downloaded it and it worked just fine.
Also, on topic: I hope they make silver fish more common, because I still haven't been to a stronghold,
and I think it would be nice if they spawned aboveground as well.
First of all:
This is about Doctor Who
The first flesh Doctor got killed if my memory serves me correctly, but it is what I am expecting too(They will probably make another doctor), and River stays in jail (among all of the jail breaks) to keep the Doctor's enemies thinking that he is dead.
I found one that was not in a stronghold, it was next to some iron that I was mining, I guess they don't just spawn in strongholds but maybe they are more likely to spawn in a stronghold?
