At least tell me how to disable the damn error. The mod seems to be working fine, except for that one error log, and I'd rather not remove the mod.

I keep getting an annoying error that floods the screen. It's that "Error on Update Entity()" one again.

posted a message on [LF Suggestion] Cartoony jungle pack like Tak
I was wondering, aside form SphaxPureBDCraft, are there any magical and natural-looking and feeling cartoon packs that some-what resemble the asthetics of Tak and the Power of Juju games?

It's not a hard google, but here's a few screenshots:

Here's even the link of where these pics are from: http://spong.com/game/screens/11030334/Tak-and-the-Power-of-JuJu-PS2

I'm just having a nostalgia fit right now is all.

    Quote from euphoria4949
Hi Glace1221, yes there is a way to decrease the brightness, but what brightness do you mean exactly.... The overall ambient light from the sun, the actually sun surface when looking directly at it, the light source blocks (Glowstone e.t.c...)???

Mostly I mean how bright the sunlight rays themselves are, and how bright it makes it in places like a desert valley. I think it is how the light hits the surface that is also overwhelming, but to a lesser extent. Yeah, if there was any way I could turn that down, that would be great.

As for the lag, I just switched to the standard shader, which lags significantly less on vanilla worlds, at the least, and the game still looks better because of it. I just really like the lighting effects the shader adds, which no other shader seems to do.

When I was using my wand with a lightning focus from Thaumcraft, it actually looked like lightning and was VERY beautiful in dark places, and not just lightless blue streaks coming from the wand. I felt like I was in a Harry Potter movie.

This shader is really cool, but is there any way to make it lag less? Or at least a way to make it less bright?

posted a message on Old particles textures in particles textures
For some reason, when I added new particles to my custom texture pack from Sphax's Pure BDCraft, I keep seeing a cluster of vanilla particle textures in the upper-left hand direction of the particle. It's most noticeable when underwater. I have no idea how to fix it.

posted a message on Texture pack made the game crash
I added some Sphax-made textures to my texture pack, and now whenever I try to use it, the game crashes and won't work until I unpatch it and repatch it. It will do it again if I use the texture pack again.

I suspect that it's caused by either CTM or some custom colors thing. I get this error message:

What about the Masqueraider from Wakfu?

It's not easy finding in-game screenshots of one, but I can take some screenshots, if you want. I just have to let the game update and find the time to login and take them.

Just ignore the blonde hair at the bottom picture. I prefer red.

I wish I knew how to make a Better Than Wolves version of this quote dissing vMC 1.6:

You want a dwarf? There's your ing dwarf. You want some better graphics? you. Dwarves can do lots of stuff. Like digging. Can you dig? Hell no. Play Dwarf Fortress.

I would totally use this in a signature, but I just can't think of a good one.

Yeah! That wasn't the texture pack I meant, but it DID lead me to it! Traditional Beauty! I thought it was called something like that, but after "traditional", I drew a blank and kept picturing a red wool "carpet". Thanks for the help!

posted a message on Looking for: an old HD default texture pack
I'm trying to find a texture pack that I can't remember the name of. It was a default texture pack with a higher resolution and sharper pixel appearance.

It was kind of like Default Realism or the Vanilla Series, but not gritty-looking. It looked JUST like default, but with this sort of look like some parts of the "pixels" were popping out. A wood log would almost look like it's flaking.

This is the skeleton mob texture from the pack.
