    Ha ha, love the new features. Seems the Rogues seem to apply potion effects now, and the 2 new jobs are excellent! :D

    I love this mod so I have to attempt to bring this to your attention. I've been having experiences where Java starts lagging very badly and either crash or I will terminate it through task manager, when I log back in occasionally fairies will be cloned or vanish completely.

    If it helps to know, other mods I have installed include buildcraft, thaumcraft, industrialcraft, better dungeons, zeppelin, red power, dust mod, rei's minimap, alice's dolls, laser mod, portal gun, little maids, playerform little maid, and various addons for some of these mods.

    I will now bombard you with questions.
    • I got lucky and found a wandering lone queen, but Ive never seen a rogue on its own, is it possible? I hope so, I wouldn't feel comfortable striking them unprovoked just to get a rogue.
    • Can rogues be affected by the withering?
    • Will fairies pick up items not related to their "job" if they have an assigned chest? I haven't noticed them doing so when i threw random items at them, but perhaps they didn't notice.
    • Are there any plans or consideration to enable them to farm mushrooms, pumpkins/melons, sugarcane, cactus, flowers or plants and saplings added by other mods?
    • Can they/will they be able to use bonemeal?
    • Does enchanting their tools with durability actually help it last longer?
    • Will you be able to change their armor and swords in the future?
    • Have you considered unconventional jobs/interactions for example turning mushrooms into redstone if you place a cauldron next to their sign and chest, or assisting in enchanting?
    • Is the planned projectile shurikens? bees? laser?
    I just noticed the chest for the two disappearing fairies was completely full (they were farmers) if that is any help


    Fairies won't pick up stuff related to any job they can't do. They'll pick up snacks, seeds, ect, but not tools. Rogues are immune to withering. Enchanting/Brewing has been a scraped idea, as far as I know. The projectile is a secret. Fairies can use bonemeal to help grow wheat and trees. As far as I know, Rogues cannot be found alone. They always spawn in a faction and never spawn from eggs. Fairies may farm pumpkins and melons in a future update, but it's not confirmed. Fairies will not be able to equip different items, as the mod is to be based on AI, not customization. Fairies probably cloned/vanished because of Java crashing, happens to me with some different mods. Could be a different mod you have.

    Hm. After playing around with this mod for some time, I noticed all fairies flee from being hit, but only sometimes. My guard began to flee after it was attacked a few times. Is this suppose to happen? It's kind of cool seeing some guards flee as well as normal fairies, but I from what I read in the post, guards always fight back.

    Fairies don't even spawn in the Nether.

    I think what andy means is that Fairies should try to get away and/or avoid areas where a fairy can wither and try to get to a torch or some other light source.. Though, I don't see a point to the withering system itself then if a fairy would keep walking away from a dark room.

    Could be, but I don't see many, if at all, signs of elemental fairies.

    One more bug I found is that the player is not notified of a queen's death... as far as I know anyway. A faction had slain my queen that was in front of me and I never got a message. Also, I dunno if this is a bug but ANY fairy class will defend the player if it's at a post. I personally like that, though, seeing how a post is sort of a "home."

    Hm. In Single Player, my chunks do not load without going to the in-game menu with the "Escape" button. Started happening when I got this mod. I don't blame the mod, I'm just saying. Maybe I installed the mod incorrectly? Anyway, it doesn't seem to affect SMP.

    Yes, but they don't spawn in dark areas, so it's unlikely they will Wither.

    Kodachi once said that the point of the mod is to add a lot of content without adding any new blocks or items. Something tells me that's not gonna change anytime soon.

    EDIT: Okay, odd. I tried to find out the effects of the "Rogue" and it applied no affect. It just hit me and started crying...Yeah, they don't seem to run away, either.

    Maybe it was because you didn't slow down. The Fairies do not directly follow you, so you need to slow down sometimes. They also do not have the new 1.2 path finding. My suggestion is to find a Eye of Ender or Enderpearl.

    They last until they die. You must be adding some to your group and not helping them fight or something. :SSSS:

    No, only direct sunlight can. Basically, when/where zombies burn, your fairy will be cured.

    Also, about Forge...when the mod ports to Forge, will there still be a ModLoader MP version, or will there be only a version requiring Forge?

    Edit: I had a snowball fight with my fairies, and one of my Rogues hit a Guard and the Guard killed the Rogue. >_<

    I think I'd like fishing. It would be nice to have a bunch of fairies at the coastline fishing for me.

    I noticed after some time and testing that my fairies do not attack skeletons unless I hit the skeleton. I'm not sure why.
