Um Pokemon Black and White have been out for some time. I assume you got this idea from there *_* Why would we need a second world... if..... We have the regular world, and the nether?
But I like your idea... I wish you were more broader with it though.

Since the game is on the brink of being released I thought that classic should one last boost too. Even if its not that great. Classic should have its own client called MCclassic.exe for people that have payed for the game.

Start from scratch with a new base/tower thats so tall it touches above clouds. So when you get lost you can always see it. (Depends on current fog)

Minecraft is nothing but a sandbox game, do whatever the hell you want. There is no real goal, this game can be edited with modding beyond imagination. Nothing is able to change the game forever. Not even exploding green erm genitalia. So Achievements wouldnt do much to edit the game, just give you something to reach for while messing around/bragging rights.

Corrupt contest is corrupt you have no way to tell if their cheating, I mean INVedit could be used get over 9000 reeds. This could have been avoided if you did it on an SMP server.
