Looks very nice. I really like the grass, dirt, sandstone, wood, logs and stone slabs, but the stone itself looks a bit weird. At the first sight, I thought that it's wool.

Also, I like that you've put so many details into the 16x16 textures (especially, the logs).

Hello, everyone! I am Ghostly_Siren and I want to present you my texture pack - “Diamond Heart”.
“Diamond Heart” is a 64x64 texture pack that offers you beautiful and shiny look of Minecraft. All the textures in the pack are made by me. Some textures can look like the default ones when the others got absolutely new look. It's hard for me to explain the name of this texture pack. I didn't think for a long time about it. It just suddenly appeared in my head. Features:

    • Better Skies support.
    • Custom Colors support.
    • CTM Support.
    • Better Glass Support.
    • And a lot of other cool things!

Some can be a bit outdated.

    • Download the pack.
    • Go to (or find) your Minecraft folder and drop the pack's zip file into “resourcepacks” folder.
    • VERY IMPORTANT!!! You have to download the latest version of “McPatcher” (it can be found here: http://www.minecraft...her-hd-fix-421/), otherwise this texture pack won't work properly!
    • Run Minecraft and select “Diamond_Heart” from “Resourcepacks” menu.
    • Enjoy!

posted a message on Some basic things to consider before you start making your resource pack
Creativity+these basic rules are the most important things for any beginner of texture pack making... and for all texture artists in general.
Absolutely agree that it should be pinned at the top and be one the most noticeable topics of the section.

posted a message on What items should leave in 1.8
Nothing should be removed and nothing will be removed. Mojang won't listen those "flower/rose moaners", because the most of players love the new additions. Moreover, Minecraft is lack of decorations, so flowers became a sheer rescue for builders.
    For the flower haters:
You can simply replace the current flowers textures with absolutely transparent ones. Yes, your awful flowers still will be there but, I hope, you'll feel a relief from their visual absence.
Also, the poppy texture can be replaced with your favourite and precious rose too.

posted a message on Minecraft 1.8 When Are They Gonna Start?
It seems like some people on this forum suffer from addiction of waiting for updates. Seriously, topics like this appear a day after the release of any update. I'm just afraid to suppose that they get bored by the new stuff within a single day.

It was suggested a loooong time ago and Mojang said that they won't add a female protagonist.

posted a message on Why all of the Whining?
Absolutely agree that there are some people who are always complaining about the minor and, sometimes, even barely visible changes. I think the most of them are just kids.
Anyway, it's not too difficult to make a texture pack with old textures.

posted a message on Melons in Jungles?
It's quite strange that melons are naturally generated in jungles. Plains would be more suitable for them.
Anyway, it's not too easy to get melons even now because jungles are extremely rare.
