I don't think you guys read the whole post. it's not about a texture pack that i made but rather a great one through sharing our ideas than putting them into play. there are no pictures to be shown because there is no texture pack made besides my first one. you guys would know if you read the post....

I see what you are saying. I also see that you deleted the adfly link. Seems ok now if it's a collaborative effort or brainstorm post

If you are making a thread for your texture pack, whether WIP or released, it must have at least one screenshot. If it doesn't, it will be locked. Also, do not accuse others of stealing your work without proof. Do not troll, flame, or spam in simple texture pack threads. If you don't like them, don't post. You will be warned otherwise.

Mythos - The Toy Maker's Folly - Part III

After the work crew had cleared Edly's shop, they noticed something sitting in a far corner. Something they had missed. It was a stuffed toy bear with buttons for eyes. It was sitting up corner staring blankly at them. The bear had not a mark or scuff on it, unlike the rest of the toy maker's works. One of the workers approached the bear and picked it up. "Make a good present for my daughter, this will". He jammed it into the lapel of his jacket, grabbed the rest of his gear, and left the shop with the rest.

That night, passers by the shop recalled hearing children playing inside the toy shop. But after inspecting the building for open windows or doors, they found everything shut and locked tight. They wrote the noise off as the wind, or hooligan's that must have run off when they heard people approaching. There were many houses in the town, but not all people could afford to live in one. Hooligan's were often caught breaking into abandoned places to stay warm at night.

When the first light shown on the town the next morning, Fred Taylor, a police officer making his rounds, found the building wide open. Not a door or window closed, let alone locked. He inspected the empty building for any trespassers that may still be in the shop but found nothing.

Nothing except....a bear. A little stuffed toy bear.....

After questioning the work crew's foreman and his employees, he discovered that the worker that had picked up the bear hadn't been heard from that morning. What's more, after investigating further, the policeman went to the workers home to find it abandoned. All trace of the worker had disappeared with him. Belongings, furniture, wife, daughter, and two sons, all gone. The officer locked the bear in the evidence room to keep safe until the investigation was complete.

It was gone by morning. Found in the very place it was discovered.

-From the accounts of Fred Taylor, Night shift watchman

"May the gods pity the man who in his callousness can remain sane to the hideous end!"

    April 16, 1913

I began walking towards the shack. Straight away I could see that something wasn't right in the area. There were no signs of animals around, and no birds chirping away. When I found the door, I could see that it was slightly hanging off the hinges. At first, this didn't seem odd. These old shacks were all rundown due to lack of upkeep and apparent old age, but I didn't like the dampness around the entryway. It was the same, never drying, wetness that was still turning my insides out. So I approached slowly.

The door was a little heavier that I expected. I had to physically pull it off the hinges to get in. It seemed waterlogged and had a strange film covering it. I let the door fall to the side and stepped into the shack. It took a little while for my eyes to adjust to the darkness inside the shack. And when they did, I'd wished they hadn't. There was a body, at least part of one, lying in the middle of the room. I really did not want to go in. Something drew me in nonetheless. As I entered, I quickly became aware of the stench of the body. The stench of partial body and something else also. Something familiar yet nothing I could ever have come across in my life. I looked around the room for any other signs of disturbance. there were many papers scattered across the two counters that lined the side walls. Most of which looked like personal notes of some kind.

I read one of the scribblings...

“The words in the book seem to flow like an ancient poem. Dare I speak them? I don't understand yet. Soon I will though.”

    I read another...

“Why?! Why did I have to say those words!? I was warned....Now I fear I will pay....”

    And another...

”The thing that has emerged from the pit is now hunting me. I think that it is trying to wear me out so it can make a quick kill. Must seek shelter in that old shack I passed earlier today. Hope that heavy door we installed will hold.”

    Last one...

”It....it is the Toy Maker. This can't be real!”

I froze just then. Something was watching me, from somewhere. I couldn't tell where. I turned around and tried to focus my eyes, but saw nothing.

No no, mica, get it right faust. :tongue.gif:

    EDIT for the EDIT: Ba-dum-bum-ching

    Etymology of the name

The mineral mica was commonly used at that time for electrical insulation. Because the new product acted as a substitute “for mica”, Faber coined the name “Formica”[1] This was in fact a preexisting word, the Latin for a genus of ant insects, but that meaning did not diminish its value as a trademark.

    So there...it's fake mica

You don't have to erase it if you no how to set the opacity to zero. Then it doesn't mess the texture up if you want it back. (how I get no clouds)
