I helped my teacher with computer issues (not responding) and so I open up task manager and EVERYBODY in my English class thinks I have no life and that I should get outside more,I ENLARGED A WEBPAGE (one student was having problems with his webpage) and people think I have no life.Posted in: General Off Topic
Sep 3, 2012I like Obama, most of the bad stuff that happens isn't even his fault,I don't know much about his healthcare plan but I've heard somewhere that his healthcare is cheap, cheap healthcare sounds good to me because for alot of people decent healthcare is unaffordable. Its like they handed him a time bomb that had one second left right and when he entered the white house the time bomb explodes and then they blame him.Bush messed up everything and people didn't complain, now all of the stuff Bush left behind is what Obama has to fix and he is trying.Posted in: Politics, Philosophy, News and Science

Someone mistook a bottle of grape soda I had as theirs and, being the poputards of the school, got a mass of people to believe that I stole their drink. Even the teachers thought I took the drink.
Why the hell would I actually steal someone else's drink?
Lol,I ain't gettin' no herps.

Millénaire 7.0 open beta! Millénaire 7.0 introduces two great new features: a reworked Norman culture and the construction of a massive, end-game marvel: Notre Dame of the New World! Head to the beta page for all the details and the download link.
Millénaire 6.2 for Minecraft 1.12 available!
Millénaire is now officially updated to 1.12.2. Download the new version on www.millenaire.org!
Millénaire is a single- and multi-player mod for Minecraft. It aims to fill the "emptyness" of single-player worlds by adding NPC villages to it, with loose 11th-century Norman, North Indian and Mayans themes and additional cultures planned.
Villages are populated with men, women and children of various kinds, who perform tasks such as trading with the player, expending current buildings or improving existing ones, cultivating crops such as wheat in Norman villages and rice in Indian ones, crafting tools and powerful amulets, etc. As the village expends, the number of villagers increases as couples have children who grow up into new adults.
Help villages grow by trading with them and be rewarded with unique items such as Normand and Indian food or statues and tapestries to decorate your house with. And if they start liking you enough, they might even build you a house of your own.
Millénaire is available in the following languages: French, English, German, Russian, Polish, Spanish, Czech, Swedish, Dutch, Portuguese, Slovenian, Hungarian, Chinese, Arab, Estonian, Norwegian, Ukrainian (more coming!)

Making new cultures
Since Millénaire 1.4, the bulk of a new culture can be made without code (not just buildings and village types like before, but new NPCs as well). As such I'm interested in player-made cultures to integrate in the main game, provided they fit the general theme of Millénaire of "real" cultures from around the 11th century. Players interested in producing one for Millénaire should PM-me about it. If we agree on the idea, I'll provide support in the form of help on how to mod Millénaire and in the form of whatever new code might be needed (for new items, blocks or good productions), though likely not with the buildings and NPCs themselves. I reserve the right to change anything I might not like in a culture I'm shipping with the mod itself, but in practice I intend to leave as much of a free hand as possible to culture designers.Contribution welcome, it helps make Millénaire a rich game!
See what they are doing and what they need in the villages' centres.
- There is a lot of content to fill up in the Millénaire Wiki, feel free to help: http://millenaire.org/wiki/
- Female and children sounds
- It would be very useful if people who have been playing for a while could post detailed accounts of how they play Millénaire, what they like/don't like, what their goals are when playing, etc. I need more comprehensive feedback, not just small reactions to individual features.
- New lone buildings: the more different kind of lone buildings (or variations of the same kind), the better. People wanting to do lone buildings in the same style as the existing ones are welcomed. You can post your creation in the thread, preferably with a screenshot. I'll add those I think fit in Millénaire.
Trade with them, to help their villages grow and gain unique blocks, foods and items.

Jul 7, 2012Kirby859 posted a message on [1.6.4]Kirby859's Content Packs for Flan's Mod - Insurgency Pack Remade, Pack of Packs for 1.5.2Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Hi guys, I'm not really working on any content packs. I uploaded a 7zip file containing all of my packs. It's a 156MB download, and it has all of my packs and Flan's Mod maps. I don't even know if they work with the newest version of Flan's Mod.
Updated the Insurgency Pack to v1.1! Now you get 4 or 5 more guns.
I am in the process of remaking the Insurgency Pack, so I released a pre-release. Please let me know how terrible it is now.
Rewrote the topic. If you have comments, please tell me.
These are the 'good' ones, in my opinion, though the others aren't bad!
Battlefield 3 Pack 2 (add banners here!)
Quite the old pack, though it seems like you folks love it. It's gotten me the most downloads this month. The second Battlefield 3 Pack includes almost all of the stock guns in Battlefield 3, with a few attachments. The textures are low-res, but some people just don't mind.
The Insurgency Pack involves modern warfare between several "fictional" insurgencies and many "major powers" of the world. First up will be infantry, and then armored combat will be done once I upgrade this bloody computer.
Battlefield 3 Pack 3
This one's a little newer, but there aren't quite as many guns. 32x32 textures are kinda pretty, and the sounds are decent. This one's netted me the second highest amount of downloads.
European Theater Pack
This pack is not quite a Battlefield 3 pack! The European Theater Pack focuses on World War II weaponry, currently U.S.A. and Germany. There is an SMLE No. 4 Mk I in there, but that's about it for the British weaponry for now. There was an MG-42, but now there isn't. For now!
Of course I would never say that any of my packs are bad. My packs are clearly the best, after all. /s
Somme Offensive Pack
Remember when the world was sick of World War II shooters? Well, that's when you take the game a step back into World War I. This is a somewhat small pack. It would be bigger if there were machine guns.
Zombie Survival Pack
Were you sick of World War II in the early 2000s? Well, now are you sick of zombies today? Here you go. This little pack contains a few guns to go with a map of mine. Boxes come with the pack, too.
Sorry, not this time!
Firearms: Source Pack
First off, the Firearms: Source 2.0.1 Alpha is available! We love extra bodies.
The FA:S Pack includes some of the guns from FA:S 1.0f. I'll redo this pack once 2.0 is fully released and balanced.
No pictures of the pack, but you can have some pictures of a stream! http://imgur.com/a/TjvAh
Random Firearm Pack
Anything and everything. Almost. From the MPX with its "muzzle extension" to the AX308, the Random Firearm Pack has a random assortment of guns. There could be more, though.
Not this time.
Okay, this pack has pretty bad sounds. It does have guns, though. The pack features U.S.A. and Russia. Again.
Not this time.
Eastern Front Pack
This pack is another dose of World War II. I think by now you've had enough. But no! I still have the Eastern Front Pack for you. This features the Soviet Union and Germany as teams for the pack. No tanks, unfortunately.
Vietnam War Pack
This little guy is incredibly incomplete. It has about...4 guns. The AKM, M16A1, PPSh-41, and Uzi are included.
Not this time.
I have a collection of old packs. In case you need them, here they are.
Pack of Packs for 1.5.2. Includes:
Battlefield 3 Pack 2
Battlefield 3 Pack 3
Day of Defeat Pack v1
Eastern Front Pack v2
Firearms Source Pack v0.2
Kirby859's Pack of Random Firearms v0 Test Release
Sci-Fi Pack v1
WWII Guns Pack v1.1
Zombie Survival Pack v1
European Theatre Pack v2
Somme Offensive Pack v1
Compatibility and Stability NOT guaranteed. Do not use all of them at once.

What's in it: Higher resolution graphics, new art, new minerals, new tools, better landscapes, new plants, more arrows, machienes, more mobs, awesome buildings, and tons more. See the "Credits and Content" links below.
New videos for 1.5.2 wanted! Your video could be featured here.

And, here is a walkthrough video of the old "Majic School" demo world:
Thank you very much Masternerd12!
Here is a nice installation video by TrolledUnicorn:
And here is a Spanish install video by Nehrox:
How to install it:
1) Backup Everything!
Type %appdata% at the top of any explorer window to find the .minecraft folder.Backup the entire folder by renaming it ‘minecraft_save’ (note the lack of ‘.’ at front).
2) AMCO requires a fresh copy of the game!
There are over 150 mods in AMCO, so it is likely to conflict with anything but a fresh install.
Log on to minecraft.net and get a fresh copy here: minecraft.net/login
3) After getting a vanilla copy of minecraft 1.5.2
Download AMCO 1_5_2 Rev 4 for clients here: ACMOfor 1.5.2 Rev4a Client

A very nice Rev4 example world is also available here: Cliffs of Insanity Demo World
It hase some awesome builds and shows a few things that are possible.
4) Extract the contents of the "toRoot" folder to your new .minecraft folder.
5) Extract the contents of the "toJar" folder to your fresh minecraft.jar or minecraft_server.jar file.
The minecraft.jar file is inside the bin folder, which is inside the .minecraft folder.
For servers, the minecraft_server.jar file is inside the minecraft folder created while creating the server.
For Linux servers: prevent gui/xwindows crashes by useing -Djava.awt.headless=true
6) Done. Start the game and enjoy a whole new aspect of Minecraft!
All the new content takes a while to load, so it can be a few minutes for the game to start.
The same is true for generating a new world. Patience is required.
7) Optional: Don't like one of the mods? Disable it.
Go to the .minecraft/mods folder and delete it or move it to some other folder.
How to Uninstall it: in case something goes horribly wrong
Simply replace the contents of your .minecraft folder with the contents of the minecraft_save folder created in Step 1.

Feb 3, 2013TVflea posted a message on Why refer to gold as 'butter'? Gold ingots do not look, nor act like butter!Ever since a gentleman that goes under the Youtube handle of 'SkyDoesMinecraft' uploaded a minecraft let's play video of him throwing gold ingots at his girlfriend, saying her house looked better with butter. Ever since then there has been an epidemic of SkyDoesMinecraft fans calling the gold ingot in the game of "Minecraft" butter, or sometimes even "budder".Posted in: Discussion
These fans of SkyDoesMinecraft have taken this petty joke to the extreme, spreading it around ever inch of the minecraft universe, and even beyond. However, not all SkyDoesMinecraft fans are like this. To halt confusion between the two, the butter-calling fans we will from here to the end of the post "Budder fans", and the nuetral fans will be called "Regular fans". This post is not geared towards regular fans.
If you are not familiar with this subject, you are most likely wondering how anyone would even begin to make a connection between gold and butter, let alone budder. Gold is a strong, yet ductable metal. It is yellow, shiny, and worth a large sum of money universally. Butter, on the other hand, is poorly formed, melts at room tempurature, and is a pale, dull white, and budder is an amber, waxy, blobby drug substance, so how is it loggical to connect the three? It isn't! Budder fans do not call gold butt/dder because it makes sense, they do it for publicity; to let everyone know they're cool because they watch SkyDoesMinecraft, much like people who say YOLO or swag.
However, even after showing comparable traits with many other hatable people, this thread is not to demean them or to make us look better in anyway. It is a debate where Budder fans post reasons why they call gold butt/dder.
We have a tendancy to refute their reason, however they do not have to take our reasoning into consideration, and can continue to call gold butt/dder.
1. Butter is yellow, like gold
Well, actually butter is a pale white, unlike gold. Here is a comparison
They look nothing alike
2. The mythical, and almighty skydoesminecraft incanted all gold to be renamed 'BWUHDDAR' *drool*
...and you brainlessly followed him. Skydoesminecraft is just a college drop-out weirdo with a microphone and screen recorder; there's no reason to copy him. Something else to note is that sky doesn't even want you to call gold "budder". Watch this (at 10:28):
3. Gold tools would be soft, just like butter tools
Gold is not "soft." Only fabrics and certain other materials can be considered "soft." Gold is, however, malleable. This is often confused with impressionability, which butter most certainly is, both of which are confused with the word "soft," however impressionability and malleability are not interchangeable, so the idea that gold can be called "butter" because it is soft is a fallacy.
4. Gold is applied to food to enhance it, such as golden apples and carrots
This doesn't make sense. You would not smother an apple in butter, and if you did, it'd probably give you a heart-attack, not bestow you with magical healing abilities.
5. Gold is used in powered tracks to make minecarts have more momentum, just like butter would make a minecart faster if put on a track.
This reasoning is not consistent with the other gold items in minecraft. Gold pressure plates, blocks and ore do not increase the momentum the player has when moving over the block.
6a. OH EM GEE, it's just, like, a fad, bro. Get ova et.
Come back to me when you have been to a secondary education institution. Perhaps then your speech will be more communicable.
6b. Sir, I have taken your advice and got a secondary education, primarily in the subject of language arts, and would like my reasoning heard: The butt/dder alias people have for gold is but a fad; a little joke kids play, you should not be taking it as seriously as you do.
First off I would like to make it clear that I am not obsessing my majority of time and effort into this thread. While it is a hobby of mine, it is not my life's goal. Second, it should be noted while the butt/dder joke is a fad, that does not make any movements conflicting the fad void of meaning and purpose to exist
7. Why can't you leave people alone to call buddar whatever they want?
This thread is not trying to force people into calling gold it's proper name. The goal of this thread is to provide irrefutable evidence that calling gold butt/dder is illogical and should not be done. It is not trying to force any one to do anything, change in labeling is completely voluntary
8. It's funny, you have no humo(u)r
When seen objectively and disregarding any logical contradictions, this could be seen as a little humorous, however, when we take into consideration the social factors and that gold in no way resembles butter, it's humo(u)r is lost.

Apr 8, 2013CaptainFord posted a message on [1.5.2][Forge] The Herbology Mod Ver. 1.1.2 - Bugs corrected. New herbal growth. New ingredient info system![represent]Posted in: Minecraft Mods
The Herbology Mod is a new way to approach medicine and brewing in Minecraft! Plant lovers will finally be able to make some powerful new medicines and hunt down and harvest for a large number of ingredients. And with over 16 new herbs to find, there's plenty to explore and try out before finding something that works for you!
Herbs are the focal point of the Herbology Mod, and are capable of being grown and harvested for ingredients. To get started, you'll need to find some seeds for those herbs, which can be found in tall grass just like normal seeds (don't worry, you'll recognize them right away.) There are currently 7 herbs that you can grow and harvest.
There are also two new mushrooms to be found (or made!) in your Minecraft world: the Glowcap and the Amanita.
These mushrooms are harder to find then their more mundane counterparts, but if you're having trouble, you can also make them using normal mushrooms. An Amanita mushroom can be made using a red mushroom and dandelion yellow. A glowcap, as it's name implies, glows in the dark, albeit faintly, and is crafted using a brown mushroom and a speck of glowstone dust.
Of course, working with new plants requires some new items to use, right? The two you'll be wanting to make are the Mortar & Pestle and a pair of Tweezers.
Using the tweezers on a matured herb will allow you to collect ingredients from it, depending on the herb: each herb yields a random ingredient with each harvest and will need time to mature again. If you're lucky, an herb will drop an ingredient unique to that plant!
Tweezers can be used to pluck ingredients from:
- Any Herb (returns either an herbal root, herbal leaves, or ingredient unique to that herb)
- Grassy Dirt (Lizard Tail)
- Stone (Granite Salts)
- Sand (Seashell)
- Leaves (Honeycomb)
- Dirt (Earthworm)
- Mossy cobblestone (Dungeon Moss)
Once you have ingredients at the ready, you can use a Mortar & Pestle to grind them into a variety of powders. Using the mortar & pestle with herbal leaves will offer you seasonings to be used with your foods, and using Sage leaves will give you a special seasoning, which can improve rarer foods with new abilities. And grinding up ginseng berries, juniper berries and jasmine petals will give you a very strange herbal powder. This magic powder is said to be so deliciously potent that it can make even the most inedible foods tasty once again...
The natural world is full of many interesting and beneficial ingredients, if you know where to look. Most of these ingredients are unusable with a standard brewing stand, but there is another way to reap their potent effects: herbal powders and medicine. There are over 30 of them to be found in the world, and most are acquired using your trusty tweezers.
Making an herbal medicine requires a mortar & pestle along with 3 ingredients of any combination to be placed in a crafting space. Each ingredient possesses a pair of beneficial effects that can show up in your herbal medicine, but mixing them haphazardly will only yield an unhealthy, poisonous mixture that will make your head spin.
To make a more helpful mixture, you'll have to experiment with various combinations of ingredients. If you use two ingredients that offer that same type of effect, they will show up in your herbal medicine. If two ingredients have the same effect, the resulting herbal mixture will be a bit healthier, taking on the combined matching attributes of those two ingredients... but the bitter taste will still leave you a bit dizzy.
However, if you're really good with your ingredients, you'll be able to match your ingredients so that the herbal medicine takes on the effects matched by all three ingredients! Which combination yields the best result? Well, you're the herbologist! That's up to you to find out!

Brewing & and the Brewing Stand
The Herbology Mod offers a new way to craft a brewing stand (see image below). Herb seeds and ingredients plucked from herbs can be used to brew up new potions for use, although they cannnot substitute everything brewable using Vanilla ingredients.
Mother Nature's kitchen cabinet is chock full of goodies, if you know how to use them right. Grinding leaves into a fine seasoning will allow you to enhance already delicious foods into something even better tasting! And if you're lucky enough to get your hands on some Sage leaves, you can make some very special seasoning, granting you the ability to enhance rarer foods into very helpful treats. And while you wait for your food to cook, why not sit back with a nice warm bowl of herbal tea to wash away the troubles of the mining day?

-Edible ingredients (considering further reducing the use of ingredients in brewing, still being decided)
-Breaking mandrakes without shears or tweezers will have a chance of exploding
-Full-fledged growable crops, extra foods and uses to include them. Potential candidates so far: celery, beets, dragon fruit, cotton, beans, rice, cabbage, squash, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberries, blueberries, kiwi, clovers, garlic, grapes
-A wiiiiiiiiiide variety of new foods to make, from all the corners of the world.
-Compatibility with Forestry and other nature mods planned
-More plants with wider range of uses. Current list of potential plants includes:
- Lava Lily - extremely hot plant, direct contact will set player on fire, slow to mature and seeds are inedible, but can be used as an efficient, renewable furnace fuel source. Has an exceptionally rare chance of yielding blaze powder, seeds can be crafted with a stick to produce a blaze rod.
- Pitcher Plant - matures extremely fast, but has no edible ingredients. Roots are extremely absorbent, nutrient rich water collects in the plant's basin, can be used to fill water bottles once full
- Solflower - Surface flower that, when mature, emits considerable amounts of light. Seeds can be toasted and eaten, or planted for more solflowers. Helpful in lighting up gardens without torches
- Leather-leaf Herb - yields extremely thick leaves when plucked. Cooking the leaves dry produces a nice substitute for leather.
- Bogberry Bush - this mucky bush produces soggy, mushy green berries, which bear a very close resemblance to the residue of a certain slimy monster...
- Bird of Paradise - a beautiful white plant, the petals on this herb share a similar design with common feathers. Perhaps they could be a helpful substitute...?
- The Gaia Wart - An enormous mushroom that yields a random number of other mushrooms when broken.
- Secret Berry Bush - Shhh! This rare bush is said to yield berries that come straight from another dimension...!
The cauldron will also take on the role of mixing together ingredients to get an alchemical herbal brew, which changes the effects it grants depending on what you've tossed in. Each ingredient offers 3 varying effects, and the cauldron can only hold so much, but being a good botanist, you'll be able to figure them out on your own, right?
Beehives - Every good gardener knows the importance bees have in helping plants flourish. So let's put those hard working insects to use for you! Make yourself a bit of honey, use it to build yourself a hive, then sit back and let the bees go to it! Plants within the vicinity of this honeyed home will get a growth boost over time thanks to the bees and their efforts.

You're free to use the Herbology Mod in any sort of mod pack or whatever else you have conjured up regarding mods (websites, videos, etc.), I'm not very tight-fisted about how my work gets shared. And if you'd be so kind as to give a nod my way to indicate "This guy made it. You might wanna check him out, if you have the time." I'd appreciate that as well. Have fun with it!
Spread the word!
If you know someone who can't get enough plantlife, how about sharing it with them, or hanging this lovely banner somewhere on your signature? With a concept like this, there's always room for expansion! Look, I even simplified things for you! Just copy this code into your signature and BAM!
