posted a message on Who turns off the music?
I got into Minecraft from watching YouTube and heard the music a couple of times. It's not bad, but it's not really my taste either.

I turned it off the first time I played Minecraft and I haven't turned it back on ever since.

posted a message on Red Wool...
Right now, I'm trying to build a 12x12 tower from sea level to sky level completely out of red wool (I'm an aesthetics maniac in some cases). However, I'm having trouble finding enough red wool. I already know the "dye the sheep and shear it" trick to get extra wool. My problem is that I can't find enough roses to change into dye. I've stripped pretty much all of the land near my base of it's flowers, and flowers don't grow back yet (as far as I know). Sheep can also be tedious to wait for, so I have a few questions...

    1. What's a good way to find roses? Right now I'm just running around aimlessly looking for them.
    2. If I went far away from my base (via Nether, perhaps) and removed all of the grass there except for a small section, would more passive mobs spawn in that little area more quickly?

posted a message on How will we reach the sky dimension?
I doubt it will be something related to getting up to the height limit. Getting a loading screen would seem sudden and annoying. I think it's going to be reached via portal, like the Nether.

posted a message on Anyone know any deserty seeds?
Here is a good desert seed:

    ****

Yes, the seed really is "****" (without the quotes). I **** you not (no pun intended). You should spawn in a large desert with a few sand mountains. There's also a few caves. I found the seed while I was bored. Now I always use the seed for messing around with Survival Single Player Commands.

Notch said it looks ugly (at the moment), but regardless I'm still excited for a new realm. New portal materials?

However, I agree that Notch should have focused more on updating the Nether. There's only three exclusive materials you could gain from there. It needs minerals and that stuff.

What's the point of this topic? Oh well, good luck rebuilding your dock.

Off-Topic: For a moment, I thought the topic title was "Dang, I have to tear down half of my clock." O_o

I found out a way to make the chicken spies to not notice you. You need to put on your creeper suit obtained from crafting the various armor parts using creeper skin.

I really hope this is all a joke. Otherwise I have been playing ALL WRONG.

You simply haven't gotten past part 1. Those red crystals won't go anywheres, don't worry.

(And also guys, enough herobrine, notch and meme references. They aren't funny or original and are ruining the thread. =S)

(I agree. The thread was good for the first few pages, but now it's getting stale with all of the random references...)

11-4 is quite possibly one of the longest levels yet. The effects of the mushrooms have worn off; right now I'm working my way through a volcano biome full of furnace-chicken hybrids that shoot fireballs at me. I'm also getting glimpses of some chicken spies, which call in their negative ghast squad if they see you...

What you need to do is throw a few platinum ingots (you can find them in caves in world 3) outside the cage. The rock trolls will get distracted by trying to collect the ingots. While they're distracted, place a CreepTNT. CreepTNT can be crafted by placing TNT in a 5x5 array on the Super Workbench. Ignite the CreepTNT. Make sure you're wearing your Condensed Obsidian Armor, or the blast will kill you. The CreepTNT will not completely destroy the cage, but it will make a small opening on one side of the cage. You can then escape, but be fast; a chase section with the rock trolls will occur, although they will melt if you pour lava on them.

But I was using The Chestplate of a Thousand Jockeys and I still survived the blast. I guess any chestplate with a Explosive Resistance of over 9000 will be sufficient!

Nice find! I never knew that, I just thought it was the Condensed Obsidian Armor because it was the only one I used at the time.

I'm stuck on 11-4 now. Once you eat the mushroom, I can't get past the flashing wall of bedrock. If I try to place any blocks, they turn into birds and fly away. :Skeleton:

But that's the thing, you're not supposed to place any blocks. After eating the red mushroom you should eat a half porkchop as this will crash the game and reboot itself. Then when I suggest placing a brick block (dirt works, but not as effectivly) and it will turn into The Super Red Dragon that will dance to the flashing bedrock and eventually cause an earthquake which will tear down the wall.

    Hope this helps!

It worked! It's a shame that the bedrock was completely destroyed instead of collapsing in item form, though.

So after I did that, I was warped to world 4 instantly (hoorah!), but I'm stuck inside a cage of durium-infused bedrock with innumium-alloy bars. I can't get out no matter how hard I try, and the stupid rock troll guards shoot me with lightningium arrows if I get too close to the bars.
    Any tips at this point?

Congratulations on beating the Colossal Chicken, I was stuck on that boss for a week before I finally killed him.

What is this? I dont even...

    It's Minecraft.

11-3 was way harder than the previous levels of World 11 (it's the first boss of World 11). I can't avoid all of the mobs that the Tornado Creeper fires at me.

You'll need to stop the loop by killing the [url] tags. They each have 50 hearts and they'll turn hostile if you attack them. They're not much harder to beat than zombies, though.

Yeah I found a Shortcut Through Herobin's home, Once you get passed that you pop up on the forums and there's only Trolls, Whiney people, Herobrine threads, and Porn Links. It's horrible! I think you have to find a Ban hammer of Invincbility but i can't find it!

Hmm, I thought I saw a peculiar-looking house inside a large open area in the cave. The end of the level is surely in the forum somewhere after you get the Ban Hammer of Invincibility?

Nope just found it, what you have to do is find Frank the Friendly creeper and ask him to...well..."Sleep" with you, you fall asleep afterwards (Really graphic) and have a nightmare there you find The BHoI you wake up and the boss is defeated, but you find out it's all just a Dream in a Dream in a Dream, and you pop out in level 9001 of the Anti-Reverse Anti-Aether! in which you fight Evil_Notch D:

I already completed the level kind of by accident. While I was exploring Herobin's house, I saw a hyper furnace. Since I took the alternate route and didn't fight Sir Bacon, I didn't have a hyper furnace. I decided to steal the hyper furnace, which triggered a cutscene where Herobin angrily entered his house. A chase scene happened where you have to run away from Herobin while avoiding ninja creepers that fall from the cavern's ceiling. Once you escape the cave, you need to throw the hyper furnace (in item form) at Herobin, which will defeat him and turn him into three Herobin chops which will heal all of your health when used. You will also complete the level after defeating Herobin.
