Sep 11, 2014Geforce posted a message on Microsoft Buying Minecraft?I have a split opinion on this. If Microsoft does purchase Mojang, I'm sure they will add some exciting new features to Minecraft, but hopefully they won't add any always-online DRM, micro-transactions, or anything like that to it. I couldn't imagine paying to use a bed....Posted in: News

Sep 26, 2013Geforce posted a message on Snapshot 13w39a Ready For TestingPosted in: NewsQuote from yoshiisawaffle
that's not the point you passive aggressive genius. If snapshot information is going to be on the wiki from now on, why even have a post here on the forum.........I thought snapshots were to tests out bugs/features, if none are listed it makes the work harder, finding and then testing it
That's the point, i dont WANT to try and find/use the new features because without the changelog, its going to take much too long to find every change/bugfix. - To post a comment, please login.

More RAM does not equal more FPS. It can affect FPS, particularly if you're running a large modpack or something like that, but 95% of your FPS is determined by your CPU and GPU combo. Integrated graphics cards do not run most shaders well, especially if you're using a really nice-looking one such as SEUS, since they're usually not that powerful. If you have low-end specs, don't expect to run complex shaders to run smoothly. The best way to get higher FPS would be to upgrade one or both of those things, but if you're on a laptop and want to stick with that, you'll need to buy a whole new laptop as you usually can't upgrade a laptop's CPU or GPU.

Locked to prevent necroposting of an old thread. If you have a similar issue, please create your own thread as Minecraft/mod versions and PC setups differ.

No? The crash report is what tells us what the issue with your game is. Members here might as well not try to help you then if they're going to have to guess potential solutions instead of being able to narrow down what's wrong.

It's pretty typical for out-of-the-blue crashes or power outages to lead to world corruption or reverted changes to the world. It doesn't sound like your world was corrupted per se (no missing chunks, random blocks scattered around the area, etc.), just that your builds are missing. Looks like you simply need to rebuild them. If there is corruption though, restore your world from a backup.

We don't support players who use cracked launchers such as TLauncher here. Please buy the game to receive support. Thanks.

If you don't have a proper crash report, post the .minecraft/logs/latest.log file instead.

Minecraft is running out of memory. Allocate a bit more RAM to it and see if that helps.

Did you properly export your mod? Most mods (unless you have a ton of large image assets) shouldn't be 50MBs big and contain Forge's Gradle installation files and everything like that.

Could be a Photoshopped Herobrine entity, a mob added by a Herobrine mod, a mob using a custom texture from a resource pack, or someone playing a prank on you using a mod/plugin (if you're playing on a server).

Besides the weird crystal and beam behavior, you can't downgrade from newer versions of Minecraft to older ones and back again. Minecraft isn't backwards-compatible for the most part and doing so can cause strange corruption issues. Since you mentioned that you have a recent backup, use that instead.

If you are looking for someone to play Minecraft with, you should try posting in the active "looking for" thread:
https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-java-edition/survival-mode/2485318-need-a-friend-to-play-minecraft-with-click-here
If you are looking to join a server, you can post applications to threads in the Servers forum section. If you wish to start a server, you can post a server thread in that section.
https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/servers-java-edition/pc-servers
We are no longer permitting individual "looking for" threads in the Minecraft: Java Edition discussion forum sections.

Install Cupboard, it's a required dependency.

Could you explain how you fixed the problem so that people who see this thread in the future know what the solution was?
