Go to your config file, find the harvestcraft config and check the ID number that's throwing a fit, and have his change to suit yours. Make sure you open it in notepad or notepad++ as well, so it can be easier to read and edit.
And what about the missing ID numbers?
Oct 6, 2013Where would I go to change those numbers? >.>Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Or even add the missing ones?
Oct 6, 2013Another question: Where would I find oranges, limes and lemons? Been making a game of hunting down the different fruit trees, and I've managed to build a fort that is at a nexus of desert, swamp, jungle and cold biomes. Just want to know which direction I should be looking in.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

It's not a problem of being overridden, it's that the host notices that the IDs don't match up when he tries to connect and then prevents the connection from happening. It's to prevent stupid things from happening, like punching a spice bush and one guy gets supreme pizzas instead of spice leaves because he had the ID number for supreme pizza where spice leaf should be.
Okay, I understand that part. What I don't understand is how the ID's can randomly change. We're both on fresh installs of MC, and only have Forge and Pam's Harvestcraft. How things that are exactly the same can change, that's what I don't understand.

The problem is that when his minecraft assigned item IDs, it assigned a different one to him than it did to you. Have his number change to match yours.
How does his minecraft override the server? Or even override mine?
Oct 5, 2013Posted in: Minecraft ModsQuote from zohar101You are running a version different from the one the server is using would be my guess.
I'm getting the exact same error. It's not a difference in the version number, since it is a fresh install, with no previous mods existing. It could be that the user is using a version of forge that has not been tested yet.
However...I am running an MC server with the latest version of Forge, and the latest version of Pam's Harvestcraft. My friend can log onto the server and we can visually see that Pam's Harvestcraft is working.
When I go to log on:
ID 16234 from Mod pamharvestcraft is missing
ID 15683 from Mod pamharvestcraft is missing
ID 15682 is mismatched between world and game
That's the error I get.
I know that 15682 is the sunflower.
Okay, I have gone back to the version of Forge tested by Pam. For some reason that Forge version won't even bring up a 1.6.4 server. So I created a single player world, and set it up for LAN. I have no problems playing, Pam's mod has loaded. However, when my friend tries to join my LAN world, he gets:
ID 1834 from Mod pamharvestcraft is missing
ID 15682 is mismatched between world and game
Again, it appears Sunflower is the ID that is mismatched.

Dec 9, 2012Gasboy posted a message on Latest Forge Issue - Black Screen After Mojang Intro If Started With More Than One ModI have this issue with no mods installed. I installed the mod, removed the META-INF folder, ran MineCraft, Forge did it's startup thing, the Mojang splash screen showed, and then it just sat at the black screen. This was a fresh install of MC too.Posted in: Java Edition Support

If you're crashing on startup, modloader generates a txt.
Anyways looks like Pam's mod are now working in SMP, so no need to go through the hassle of updating it yourself Jsn! :tongue.gif:

Sorry, the client crashes before I can copy/paste the error. I tried running client from command line but was unable. Also looked for a crash_log.txt in /.minecraft/ but cannot find one.
Create a batch file, name it whatever you want. I named mine test.bat. Use Notepad to edit it, and copy and paste this line into it:
java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft
Save it and close your text editor.
That will run MineCraft directly, and it will also give you another window where you can see the error. Also, MineCraft won't close if it crashes, allowing you to copy the error message.
This assumes you're using Windows. :tongue.gif:
