I tried googling but can't find a recent resource pack update. Its a texture pack, and I have the old one extracted. They changed a few textures and I want to replace a few of the new ones with some of the old ones.
It should be a mcpack file, right? Or are they doing something different with downloads from the store now?
The way the night sky is rendering is causing some issues in general, it's currently not possible to adjust it's brightness.
Yeah, I just searched out the night sky image from the chromahills texture pack, and its way darker than what the shader is showing. (I thought i could maybe just darken it in photoshop as a quick fix, but the original texture file is already so dark it would have to be black to be any darker...lol!)
As a fix, could the shader gradually be applied at a lowered percent down to 0% in the darkest night, and gradually become more opaque at dusk and dawn? Then the day shaders could do sunset and dawn as they do now.
This is how your settings should look like for it to work. It works fine on my end.
Ok, we found the fix.. we had the skybox setting off because you mentioned errored lighting issues. We saw the moon, but the brightness on it is so bright we can hardly see the chroma hills moon phase texture. Was that issue addressed in the new update, or can it even be addressed?
We think it might be working now, and used set time to preview night, but it was a full moon, so I don'i know if that is because I manually set night or not.
Question: Moonlight setting only affects the light cast by the moon on the ground. Is there a setting for night sky brightness? The ground looks fine, but the night sky is very bright. Day and storm brightness look right, but night skies are just about 50% brighter than they probably should be.

We tried that and it still wasn't working. (on both systems) I notice you have lens flares off.. we'll try the new update and turning that off to see if maybe that is the issue.
Killing the leader and getting the banner triggers the raid retaliation of Bad Omen.
So you avoid the raids be getting something else to kill the patrol leader. We have zero issues with raids though once having a fence protecting the village.
You just need a fence wall defense around a village, and you'll be able to deal with them fine. They can't break through them. Just make gates along the wall to go collect loot.
Ravagers CAN go over the wall, but just shoot them from a distance. I think there are 8 waves in a raid, so it sounds like you were almost done
We were playing the snapshots to learn how to deal with raids, and once you are prepared, they are fairly easy. The fence walls will also contain your villagers and iron golems, a side benefit.
We haven't lost a village at all in the last 8 raids (84 waves).
Not sure what problem you are referring to, but start using the FTB / Curse / Twitch launcher (whatever the heck they want to call it these days). I have never had single problem with modded minecraft.
How do we find this alternate launcher? The chunk load lag bug we documented in 1.14, marked fixed, but we haven't seen it released yet. Bedrock just got a new update, so maybe Java with the big fix will be released soon.
The java chunk loading bug and the win 10 bedrock spawning issues are pretty game breaking right now. We just decided to shelve minecraft completely until a fix update is released for java. Until they seriously change mob spawning in bedrock, the performance improvement doesn't make up for a boring game play without hostile mobs.
Its not that we don't have a lot of other games we can play...lol!

Again, thanks for the quick reply!

We just tried the default skybox option and that didn't fix it either.

Thanks for the fast reply!
EDIT:
That didn't work. still no moon.
Shader moon is off, shader stars are off, details sun and moon are on, and moon=true was added to the shader properties file in the archive.
Maybe its currently broken?
FWIW, we are using the chromahills texture pack as well, but that shouldn't change anything since the phases worked before applying the shader.
We are seeing the moon light source at night, but not the moon phase texture or moon at all.

Does Recurrent Complex work with 1.14.2, and if not are there plans to update it?

Patrols are confirmed broken for bedrock 1.14.2, but are working fine in java.

You just needed to learn how to deal with them.
