I don't know in what order these show up, but I made some alternate bookshelf textures for an adventure map I abandoned and a floating island-type open landscape. I'll post something else because I ran out of screenshots :) The hardest part of texturing for me is coming up with ideas, so If you could give me something to try to texture I'll try. Please don't be like,

Ok, heres the rest of the floating island and a stack of pancakes I made. And a pixel art of an inserter putting iron ore into a furnace from Factorio, if you know what that is.

Hi jjparkrocks. In terms of texturing, I'd like to see what you're able to do. May I have a look at some previous examples? Perhaps some sprites? Thanks!

Hi Phoenix. I'd like to apply to the team as a builder.

Although I'm not the world's best aesthetic guy, I love the feeling of huge open diverse landscapes and love making them too. I am great at breaking the rules when it comes to building and often think outside the box to solve difficult problems. I am also a very fast learner and really fast in general: it's like my internal clock runs fast. I also come up with ideas and concepts really fast.

However, I am not the best patient listener. I kind of want to do things my way, and am not too serious about things that seem random or unnecessary. I also have the world's worst sense of scale, and can't judge any kind of distance if you want me to make a recreation of something. I also tend to make things too small.

In addition, I am an amateur texturer. I am best at simple 16 x 16 textures.

I might not be able to work too well on the weekends because I have a youtube channel and that's when I record.

    I hope you consider me!

EDIT: I don't know how to use voxel sniper or world edit or any of that but I could definitely learn. I can use MCEdit.

EDIT 2: I also make music with GarageBand but I don't know how good it is :)

This is probably a ridiculously, stupidly, obvious question, but how do we know if we have been accepted for the PokeCA team?

    Hi Phoenix:

I already asked about animating moves, but I'm good at command blocks too. I work very fast and learn quickly, and have lots of free time to do whatever it is you want me to do in. I also don't do things the way they are intended to, and often find new, eaiser ways to do things.

However, I tend to try to do things as simply as possible. Usually, this tends to work out great, but sometimes the only way to do something is complicated. I also get frustrated easily, and though I am good at commands, I am more used to 1.9 command blocks and don't know how to use /trigger and the really advanced features of scoreboard. I could definitely learn, though.

I also am fairly good at texturing, although I taught myself. If you just have one slot open, and it's texturing, I'd probably do fine. My specialty is looking at something in real life and making it pixilated, like the 16-bit graphics Minecraft has. I'm no master, though.

Hope you consider me. I just want another chance after the failed beta testing.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide this information. The good news is, however, I will be allowing new members to join the team very soon.

    Stay tuned!

Awwww... Whatever. I just want a second chance after UltraIdioticKnight leaked the beta-testers. :(

    Hi Phoenix:

You are a college student with not nearly enough time. I have far too much time on my hands. I want to get better at command blocking, and I also really want to help with #PokeCA. I also had an idea for what I couldn't possibly mess up. :) Can you give me permission to make the move animations for the attacks in the battle? plz

If you let me, I'll need:

    • names of the armor stands marking the party member and foe
    • dimensions of the arena
    • direction and orientation of the arena
    • moves you are adding and have already animated
    • probably some other information

I'd do the animations by tilde notation, so the coords aren't needed. I'd put the finished string of command blocks in a bunch of rows in a superflat world so you can import them w/ MCEdit without having to deal with a bunch of files.

    Please? :)
