All right, I apologize for the massive delay I just get distracted constantly :P . . .But anyway here is something I guess. . . .

The End is Nigh Update download

Like I mentioned earlier I have a lot of tests in this version to see how the play out. So opinions and ideas are greatly appreciated so I can make the pack better.

It should be pretty much bug free but there are still some slight issues. They aren't that big or noticeable, but I'm working on fixing them shortly.

wow those buildings are looking super nice, i'd love to see more as you continue building. feel free to comment about needed building blocks, I'd be more than happy to try to accommodate.

All right so it's been a while since an update. So It's looking like im gonna update it if not monday evening, than deffinitly tuesday. I'm currently just flushing bits of it out now. Though this update offers quite a bit of tested features, so input on them is greatly appreciated.

this will probably the most wip update :P . . . as it's pretty much just me messing with things, so it might look odd. If you guys like all the grass, I can further expand on it. if not I can scrap it and make it a second part.

Im pretty flexible with this update so criticism and complaints are fine.

yeah I was actually working on a gun shot sound too xD . . . I tend to just have a bunch of stuff only partially completed as I tend to bounce around them.

But I'll work on those, variations are not that hard to accomplish

Yeah I've just been rather busy, I still have quite a few smaller things. And I was actually just fixing it up for a "It's been a while-but not dead update"

Here's a couple images of stuff. They're not super note worthy just small little things.

But I made all the grass fancy, and forgot to even update that xD so it'll be in too. But Im working on it again.

Most of it's misc things, nothing to spectacular.

when placed in the desert and on beaches, snow becomes piles of sand

I don't know if I've shown this before, but it's a gif of before and after sort of thing. It's a bit slow so that you can look at it.

I'm also working on some other stuff, such as stalactites, road signs, shingle roofs, and picket fence.

In all honesty I seriously thought I updated back in September/October. It was just hectic for me.

Yeah I'll add in a roof block it'll probably be the one of the wood steps. I am not sure which one exactly. But It'll probably be either dark oak, acacia, or birch. Birch will probably have the highest chance of it being a roof so use that ;P . . . since it has sort of a pleasant white cottage feel, and a little white picket fence. ;P . . .

I'm glad you're making a map out of the pack. I'm looking forward to see more of the map as you work on it.

Also here's a little teaser of what's coming this month.

I made the tree (tall grass) show up less frequently and made the another tall grass. There are small stones that spawn and most grass blocks have grass on them. I also made the leaves fuller.

Ah made by Oc0 I'm not sure about that. I haven't officially added it in :P . . . Though the woods that don't have textures acacia and dark oak will have new textures. The acacia will be vintage dried wood and the dark oak will be reinforced wood.

I added in some weird ctm for spruce wood. it looks okay but it's very limited in it's application so I'm gonna try and see if I can use that ne optifine feature when two blocks are placed next to each other

I will most likely add the music in as an alternate pack, that you can load on top of the textures. I just have to find them first again. :P

This time the primary reason I removed them [again] is that they took up a huge amount of file size as they were lengthy songs. So if people want them they can download them separately, without bloating the resourcepack too much.

As for the wood texture I'm not sure what you mean. I did swap two of the textures. It makes more sense, but it'll ruin older maps.

We're working on guis, but I could focus a bit more on the chest it'll be the easiest to do out of them all xD . . .

The chain is not textured yet ;P . . . though it's in the works. I am making it into a sort of scavenged armor set. Similar to the iron armor, but with more junk. . . .

I'm not sure on the infected armor. If you can I'd like to see an image of it, to jog my memory. Earlier last year a lot of the updates were not coherent with each other, and others had stuff that others didn't. It was all really random, with not much organization.

So since it's the last weekend of the month, and last day :P . . . I updated the pack for this month. The download can be obtained at the first post. But I'll post it here too ;P . . .

    TEiEN - July

The Changelog can be viewed above. All images posted above also showcase some of the new features. So there's no real reason to repost them.

I do have these though . . . I do got a couple new ones

Yeah no worries, at the moment I won't support other versions of minecraft other than the latest. Pretty much 1.9 +

So most of my bux fixing is done with those versions. I know earlier versions of the pack are somewhat broken and unorganized. But I'm just gonna ignore those :P it's easier

In 1.9 + I have fixed the redstone issue using optifine, and I am almost certain if you were to use that in an older version of minecraft it'll work fine as long as you're running optifine. Though like I said I'll also make it work in vanilla eventually, but that'll only be for the latest versions.

I think the version above 'fixes' the redstone but only partially :P . . . it still works though ;P . . . but the file size is abnormally large. I fixed that in the newest unreleased version that'll be out next week . . .

Which version of minecraft are you using.

It's fine tampering with the textures :P . . . you don't need to apologize.

I managed to fix the redstone using mcpatcher, though I plan to make a work in vanilla. In the meantime Mcpatcher does fine.

Currently the only real issue with redstone is that in 1.10 or 9 they changed the way it's laid out in the word so I'm working on makeing it work with the new system while still looking like the old.

So I didn't forget about the monthly update, I've just rescheduled it too every other month. This will allow me to have better higher quality content by giving me more time per update.

I don't know if I mentioned this but I had to redo the chicken because the original image size was too small. So I am working on that at the moment.

This update in July will be more refined and will include previously mentioned projects along with some new additions. Such as the lightmaps, I will spend more time on it too really get the colors right.

If you are into the more work in progress version, I can post it . . . it just won't be that good. :P . . .

And what is your opinion on randomized ore blocks, It'll probably be just a couple variants (2-4) and just provide some variation.

As a side note I feel weird posting an 'update' without pictures so . . . .

    Yeah I believe I all ready had that ;P . . .

I was saw that the zip was taking a bit longer to download and it's file size was significantly larger than much more finished packs. So I removed some duplicate textures, and compressed most textures (without any noticeable loss in quality). The other thing that made the file much larger is the music and records. I removed them once again -.- I could make it into an alt music pack if you'd like to download it separately. It'll only have about 6 records or something. Or you can wait for if/when we get a music pack going.

The June update shouldn't be as tedious to download as the May one is. I don't know if I'll fix the May file. Being that the month is half way finished.

. . . No real physical work ready to be showed yet, I'm working on the snowfall ;) . . .

I think I planned the rain to be released this month, but I'm gonna push it to July because I don't want to rush it.

I remember showing a wip image of this a long time ago, Well I finished it up today. I present the Tomato Crate.

The sides need a bit more attention, and I might end up trying to add more depth to the top (if it doesn't make it look to cluttered).

Later on I plan to give it a 3d model so the slats protrude off with probably about 2/3 full of tomatoes. When placed on the side I'll have it be spill out and when placed upside down I'll probably just make an empty crate or something.

This will be included in the June update

. . . So what do yah think of it. I also don't recall if I showed the wheat model switch- well it's in the second pic ;P . . . I think it was in the may update.

It's good to see you here too :P . . .Yeah I plan on a more vanilla approach to the pack. Though I might be able to get a way with sort of combining them, because it is odd having the roads burn away after a lightning strikes them xD. So i'll move some of the harder materials over to the clays which will leave room for some more wool styles. I am gonna test some wallpaper concept styles using the rug and some other stuff ;P . . .

On a side not some foliage would be nice. I am working on making the grass a lot more wild and overgrown. I'll accomplish this by adding in new and random grass block models with small grass attached to the, (the current grass height). Random textures will be added to make the grass a lot more weedy and diverse. Then I'll increase the height of the texture for grass, so overall it should feel more overgrown and unkempt.

Yeah that sounds good, you can upload it here. Is it fine if I use some of them in the pack, with proper credits. Also is the an improved version of the last pack you uploaded, as I still have that laying around.

I should probably post a pic or two. ;P

Just some fixed up water :P . . . It's not animated yet.

There is a zombie in the picture ;P
I was able to create this with edited light maps using optifine.

Nights are also a bit dark though lighter because of the moon light. So the player should still be able to make out some shapes during night. Just not in caves ;P

PS: I have some ideas to make minecraft harder with the texturepack without changing it too drastically, such as an overhaul. Some of these ideas are darker nights and caves, the other is lowering the volume of hostile mobs so the player shouldn't be able to hear the from as far away. I'll make the sound edit as I create and add new custom sounds for mobs overtime. I'm working on spider now as it seemed rather easy so it's a test for me ;P . . . skeleton or zombie should be next month.
