Please make this compatable for forge 1291, so I can make the other mods work .-.

NOTE: Since in highschool, they allow you to play minecraft, but minecraft is stuck in 1.5.2, so 1.5.2 users may use it. Im not to sure about the compatibility with 1.6/1.7/1.8.
Yes! If this actually becomes a mod, I'd perma install it on to my SP & MP server, I'm tired of the unrealizm of flan's mod (no offense) and I'd rather have this mod.
This is just a mere suggestion,
But for the gun magazine, I think you should craft it with iron.
Then with it on your hotbar, (and holding) you hold right click, witch will then Appear to "block" with the magazine, witch slowly loads the ammunition type corrisponding to the weapon. The weapon (if you have the magazine in hotbar) will load, and when reloading, will give you the empty magazine back (or XX amount of bullets that was in the gun)
I think mags shouldn't be stackable whatsoever to balance it a bit.
Also there should be "bullet boxes" witch can store 100 rounds (of a type of ammo) and when reloading the bullets from the box goes directly to the magazine wich you are trying to fill up. (Ex. Pistol box XXX/100, rifle box XXX/100 ect ect.)
To fill a bullet box, just right click, and any "loose" bullets in your inventory will go in it untill it is filled

Bullet box is more affordable to store bullets in your inventory.
Also it should be made of wood and paper (not stackable)
So, there i was. Beta 1.1_01 the update i have joined. Now when i had originally played minecraft i did not understand how to build/craft. So i did what most could possibly do. I build a dirt home, that connected to a mountain side. Now at the time, at a mental P.O.V of a 10 year old, i thought it was amazing. Death after death, i had finished the shelter and was comfortably settled. And shortly after, i realized that i could google everything.Death after death i realized these green pillars were cactuses. And that food was important.

All of these mods, make life HARD
Even as a experienced player, I had came across times where I felt certain Doom.
