As in "how" did you find the IP of the Agion Server?

Somebody must be making it public/posting it on forums or something.I've been seeing a lot of new people that do not have an answer to that same question.

And still Mr. No Speak with a Mic Man? ^_^ I remember that even during the time of CyborgDragon, Magix was the only Arch-Magi that typed instead of speaking. He must have robot arms or something . . . ;)

It is what it is ^_^ I hope that everyone has made some new friends and Magi members as well. On another note, I've actually been drawing more sailors from my work center into enjoying Minecraft as well as Tekkit. We'll have to come on sooner or later (when the server decides to accept my damn cookie and let me on!)

    Oh..and before I forget.. .MAGIX!!!

The server has to crash when fury logs in doesn't it!! :L

Well if that was the case, then it wouldn't be fair to say that I was "crashing in on my old clan" now would it ? ^_^

As some people have noticed from the Agion group page on Steam; yes, I've returned to the States from my long deployment overoseas to Japan, which due to the time zone and the amount of work on my planes, 0 gaming time was included :S

So now that I'm back in the States, I'll be recovering little by little on the amount of this new Minecraft mod (Smekkit or tekkit? :P ) I will be able to indulge. The past two days, I've been lead around by the hand by Ace to several Tekkit servers so it would be nice to see the Agion and call it a day :)

I hope to see some of you guys online sometime and if you have any questions, you can find me on either Steam or Skype.

The Server Meeting for Saturday, March 24th 2012 has ended, and the results were as followed.

The entire server discussion via Steam can be found here

    Topics that were discussed

The latest KoA news and discussion with Mai2500 over the clan in relation to the server

Description: Mai2500 was brought forth during the meeting to ask several questions by the other clan leaders over why KoA has been inactive as well as trying to answer why the conversation between Viros and Zedero earlier this week came as a shock to most members on his proposal for the KoA. Mai2500 intended to explain that not all KoA depict or feel about the server as their KoA King had predicted, but she also tried to suggest several new ideas on getting KoA and the other clans together on inter-clan events. More was said during the meeting than has been put forth, you can read the whole meeting below.

    Inter-Clan Relations and Events

    - Description: The suggestion of inter-clan relations and events and how we can make them stronger also came up. As most have seen through the KoA and CoM, very little inter-clan events ever happened, in which everyone would like to see changed. Many suggestion that were brought up were:
Creation of a Event-Themed District/Area in which would hold Spleef and PvP arenas, as well as several other mini-game events.

    - As well as bringing this events into an reality on the server, other events involving Multiverse and a Free-World Building contest were also added into the discussion.

The Application of the clan Pirates of the Old World

The Vote for accepting the Pirates of the Old World onto the Agion server was as followed:
Circle of Magi (Blankhaven, LibertyFreedom): In support of the PoW
Kingdom of Alesgan (Mai2500) : In support of the PoW
Kingdom of Lacertus (DarkFire002, Bleese): In support of the PoW
The Server Staff (Furyion, Acestertnt, Elsheran): In support of the PoW
Conclusion: The PoW has been accepted onto the Agion.

    Factions and it's use

Description: The major questions were brought forth about Factions and it’s use due to complaints about how it was already being ran. The questions and their results were as followed:

Question One – Should the Faction area be connected ?
1:09 AM - Mai2500: yeah I think we should do that.
1:09 AM - Mai2500: yeah I think we should do that.
1:10 AM - Elsheran: Oh, yes, claims should be contiguous.
1:10 AM - MIGHT BE Blankhaven: Agreeing with Elsheran
1:10 AM - =CoM= (ZeroCraft) Liberty: Agree with the opinion that makes most sense
1:11 AM - =KoL= Darkfire002: I basically think that theres advantages to being able to have remote areas and towns.
1:12 AM - =KoL= Darkfire002: But, it sorta decentralises things.
    1:15 AM - =KoL= Bleese: I disagree with darkfire002 on this one
1:16 AM - =KoL= Bleese: I think it's important to have an open variety of towns and allow players to freebuild towns wherever they please
    1:16 AM - =KoL= Bleese: though
1:16 AM - =KoL= Bleese: at the same time
1:16 AM - =KoL= Bleese: centralisation is important
1:16 AM - MIGHT BE Blankhaven: If we open free claims, we will encounter the Ghost town problem we had in the past

Question Two: Should claiming land cost money?
    1:27 AM - =CoM= (ZeroCraft) Liberty: Yes.
    1:28 AM - =KoL= Darkfire002: Yes.
1:29 AM - Valdrec: Reaver's feeling ill, we vote yes
    1:29 AM - Elsheran: I support it.
1:30 AM - Furyion: Ace and I support the matter as well. Decision on the cost will come later on once we get everything settled in with the people who weren't here.

Question Three: Should Factions remain clan-based still as it has been?
1:32 AM - =KoL= Bleese: I personally think it should remain clan based :3
    1:32 AM - Mai2500: For members
    1:32 AM - =KoL= Darkfire002: Me also
1:32 AM - MIGHT BE Blankhaven: I also agree that it should be Clan Based.
1:32 AM - Valdrec: I think it's best set clan based, or you get a thousand one-person towns
1:33 AM - =CoM= (ZeroCraft) Liberty: Clan Based.

The Introduction and Discussion of the Donator Rank and Expert Citizen Rank

    The Donator Rank
    - Some of the Permissions/Perks that were discussed about the rank:

    Addition of the /tpa, /tpahere, and /back
A reserved plot of land in the Donator District of Spawn
Name changed from Green citizen rank to a gold one.
More things can be suggested later.
The Common Cost for the rank being $5 US dollars.

    The Expert Citizen Rank
    - Description: The Expert Citizen rank is a rank that Clan Leaders can show their appreciation to their members who have done extraordinary things for their clan. This rank in itself will not be touched by the Server staff, however due note at the beginning of it’s release, will have a set amount for each major clan. The Expert Citizen rank will also have /back as an ability.

Introduction to the Clan Reward System

    - As a gesture of thank you from the server for proactive and healthy activity for the server, the server staff want to find ways to help reward the clans. Two such rewards were brought up and will be seen in later events and times as rewards:

Rewarding particular clans with World Guarded region extensions/upgrades

Additional slots being earned for the Expert Citizen rank. Due to it only having limited slots at the beginning, this will allow for the Clan Leaders to reward their members with yet another feature to the game. At the release of the Expert citizen rank, all major clans will have an equal amount. After which, those clans which are proactive, growing, being community and inter-clan friendly towards others and helping the server in general are up for additional slots being added to their clan.

Note: You can also earn these through inter-clan events when the Server Staff deem them as a reward, such as Spleef/PvP events and the building event coming soon.

End of Meeting Host Statement -

" As most people can see from how this meeting turned out, it was a first for having the KoL and it's leaders there with us (thank you again for DarkFire and Bleese, along with redyoshi and jamesflukeb for attending) their input on several topics was most informative and important. The Agion has several things that it needs to work on, but in the past few weeks, the most important form of work was feedback in which was not always given through complaints.

As was seen through my absence due to my transfer time over to another base, the other Server Staff Admins have had to step in and do what was necessary to keep the Agion up and running. While this was happening, few people came to them (or messaged myself) about how the Agion was running or if there was any complaints. To find out that a whole clan, in general, had the same complaint about the Agion server came at a surprise since only one person was the one complaining. With the help of Mai2500 and her information during the meeting, I was reassured that that was not the whole clan speaking as one, and that bringing some inter-clan events (such as the always fun Spleef events) would be of great benefit for all clans.

Another topic which was brought up was Factions due to what was "popular demand" in which both on Teamspeak and Steam, Leaders of the Clans of the Agion were asked if there were any problems or any changes that needed to be made towards how Factions was currently running. There was only one, in which had to do with how money and cost for claiming land would come into play on the Agion. I was pleased to see that the decision to make Factions connected claims and also emphasize it towards the smaller clans came at a great benefit for the active clans on the server. We hope to see the new clan, The Pirates of the Old World, use it to great extent.

Also, as the last topic points out, the Server Staff would like to see the clans getting more rewards for their members' hard work and labor for making the server better through any means. We will always be watching, and will find new ways to reward the clans who are proactive and successful in their cause in two ways that I know some have been requesting, both in land and member recognition.

Last word of reminder, we are still looking through the applications for an additional moderator to be added to the Server Staff team on the server, if you wish to apply to become a moderator, you can either create an account at the Agion Server and go apply there, or you can send me a private message of your application here."
