Dec 13, 2012As a person above has stated, I would as well upgrade your base diameter from 45 to around 80-100. Usually with ocean biomes, I'll tend to go for the Atlantis look, building a large glass dome and making a underwater city with it. It takes ample time due to the increased chances to die from drowning, but well worth it in the endPosted in: Survival Mode
Dec 13, 2012This is not a good compromise. From what I'm getting from the OP:Posted in: Hosting Requests
- You need a host to host your server for you
- While you get??
Dec 13, 2012Have you looked into the customized modpacks (Feed the Beast and Tekkit/Technic) if so, give those a tryPosted in: Survival Mode
Much like you, I felt the same way about Minecraft. While the game does bring some new features every so often, it never fully brings back the same interest I had when I started. The modpacks however, help bring back that Multiplayer urge I had back in Beta

Actually it's more the other way around if people from the circle of magic can/want to check out the server i'm currently playing on as its dying due to lack of people. If not id also really appreciate if anyone got any god ideas to keep it from dying aka what a makes a rp server popular
You should probably check out http://minecraft-server-list.com/sort/RP/, compare what the dying server that you play on lacks compared to other RP servers and then see on ways of improving it!

Ooo, I'm digging the new picture Reaver
His picture is from the Agion's Steam group. It's based off of a Magic the Gathering Sorceror wallpaper.

Im loving that reference to me there, mate <3
Unfortunately I was waiting on word from Myaskill to see if we are getting a map reset which was heavily hinted at, No point in starting a city if the map will be reset during the process of building it?
Am I right? or will you be too ignorant and arrogant to accept that I was right again?
I think Im done with CoM, have fun with your new server lads.
Unfortunately I don't want to be apart of a server with Furyion being a Staff member, it'll never work.
- Ex AM Reaver
Actually, I was referring to will1b and Dark where, at the time of them joining, they were the most active and most productive. Once it came time for the Unnamed to switch hosts, they brought up creative ideas and projects, but never saw them finished (if at all started). If you wish to assume that I am talking about you, please ask me next time I am honest enough to say whether or not I'm making a direct attack at you (in which that statement about will1b and Dark wasn't an attack, I respect them both still to this day)
As to your above statement, there was no real reason for a map reset. If you're referring to any ghost towns that have erupted due to lack of activity (i.e. people getting bored becaues noone is there to motivate them) then yes I can blame you Instead of quickly placing the blame or making excuses, why don't you take responsibility for once.
As for my server, I have kept my word and have not advertised once about Nova, nor have I given anyone permission to do so. And frankly, you don't have a right to to discriminate towards any magi member. Disrespecting each other or the Circle is a Tenet, am I correct? You continue to do so, and I am sure it is because you weren't brought into CoM, you were adopted into CoM from the PotIH. Whatever your personal reasons are, keep it away from my people and Nova. We are growing and enjoying as we are at the moment, and we do not want the negative or personal feelings of a immature leader at our doorstep. This is why I have not invited CoM to enter Nova as a clan.
As to your personal feelings about me, please stop, you're not making a point at all on here except for your small attacks at me (which mean nothing of course , I never knew you and didn't wish to). I have the honor and privileged to have the support of LibertyFreedom , Magix, and even the lovely Neko standing with me and that's all CoM and myself have ever needed, Family. You aren't family, Reaver, and you never wanted to be family.
To end this awesome post (it's been awhile since I posted a long one on the minecraft forums) Congratulations to you, Koko as well as Eussorus! I've been able to learn much about you both in the short time that I've been back and I hope to learn more each day!
@Hartham: I can't wait to hear of your good deeds Taking up responsibility of the applications and the feedback of players is a challenging job (ask Magix he would know) and it's well credited since you're the direct line to the new magi members.
Dec 4, 2012I, Furyion , a magi member of CoM, vote for magix39 (i.e. magee) to be the next Arch-Magi.Posted in: Clans
I have served with him before on the Council. During that time, I did not see that much from him on the Unnamed, and that was due to my own and DraXX's error of not getting the rest of the Arch-Magi fully involved with the server (something we regret a lot). But with that said , magix was informative and spoke his mind at the Council meetings, more than anyone else and almost all of his ideas today are still with CoM. I have seen how active he can get when he puts thought into action, and that action motivates others to do the same. Most Arch-Magi can say that they want to do a project or build a city, but do they accomplish it? I know magix can, and I've seen it before: on Epitaph, on the Unnamed, and on the Agion. That is why my vote/nomination is to him.

Fury was the one who brought a boatload of problems when he advertised his server and YES he did ADVERTISE his server.
Quote from Furyion
Just as a heads up for all of those who wish to attend, we will be having a clan/server meeting Friday night, 6:00PM Pacific Standard Time (or GMT-8). Everyone is welcome to show up and participate in the meeting! We will be doing it in both Steam Chat as well as the Agion's Teamspeak Server so feel welcome to show up in both!
I guess you can use whatever made up words you like to make your side look good Whatever floats your boat, right?
You were denied becoming an AM again because of the little deal you and Fury had,
Relying on another Arch-Magi to defend your case over a topic that has no living proof is a poor one at best, Reaver. Before you make accusations about myself, whether it be my intentions towards CoM members moving to another server, or giving certain people of CoM hammy-down Staff positions, you should probably talk to me first about such matters, or at least provide adequate proof.
As for advertising, I didn't advertise it to CoM. Those who were already going to the meeting were non-CoM members, the very same CoM members that you have denied for over a month now due to age? When ever in CoM's history have we denied applications for anyone due to age? And please, stop bringing up the "They bug Denim" whole topic because that is just rediculous. We all get bugged by new faces and new members, if he wanted the ability to ignore them, he should've asked a Admin for the command to be able to do so, not ask the Arch-Magi to cut out on potential Magi members.
As to Denim, your post above over which covered how people should motivate each other to improve the server, even without the Arch-Magi title is admirable. That's exactly what should be happening. Every Arch-Magi that has been voted in and nominated was based on the fact that:
1. They were motivated about the clan
2. They brought the community together
But those two points were always made under an Arch-Magi's view. When Blankhaven was voted in, it was under myself and DraXX watching and wanting to see if he would be a good leader, and we found that when he doing an amazing job as a moderator. Even yourself when you were voted in, I was the one that nominated you to take my spot as an Arch-Magi when I left on deployment, because I knew that I couldn't server the clan well as an inactive Arch-Magi, and I knew that you had the motivation to get people going. Every good thing that CoM has done, has had an active Arch-Magi backing it up, and while Reaver promises good things once his computer is fixed, I hardly doubt that this type of motivation will return.
So I've decided to bring that motivation to those who weren't finding that drive on the Agion; am I to be labeled a advertiser and a bad seed of CoM? So be it, but I at least will try to find a home for those who want a change. Waiting on hope is waiting for a clan to die, and I won't see my fellow magi members wait on such hope.
Sorry that my answer could not have gone out sooner, but seeing that I was conversing with Jesepi and the KoL all yesterday, I would say that my time is ran up and I was in need of some rest.
Nov 10, 2012No problem Some basic info to think about would be:Posted in: Server Recruitment
What kind of Server is it? Tekkit, Minecraft, Minecraft-RP?
The specs of the server? Number of slots, ram amount?
Your thoughts as owner? What are your plans/how long do you plan on keeping it up
What you want your Staff to accomplish?
. . .and last. . .SCREENSHOTS!?!
Hope that helps!
