Hi everyone, I have a small problem with the mod, I can not use the traffic lights and street lanterns. All blocks under \assets\spare are not displayed in Creative mode, and I have no idea how to craft them. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Do I have to adjust something? I'm using FlenixRoads_[1.7.10]-0.10.0-b40.

The "spare" folder stuff isn't implemented yet, and the modelled blocks (such as traffic lights) are also not currently implemented in the rewrite. FlenixRoads for 1.7.10 was a total restart of the code to make things prettier and more efficient - but the flipside is modelling stuff like that takes a LOT longer, so they're last on the list currently.
Will fix in just a moment, but if I miss any just change the web URL's .co.uk to "studios.com" - I migrated to a new website and knew I'd forget to update a few places.
^Everyone thank InuYasha for doing that I forget that I have this thread sometimes and always assume it's dead, MCF kinda sucks for mods. Best bet if you ever need me for something is to drop into #silvania on irc (Esper.net) and ping me, I might not be there at the time but if you just leave yourself in the channel I'll respond when I'm back.
@Flenix Any possibility for you to make a quick fix for 1.7.10? On my server i have a problem with very short render distances and cannot seem to fix it.

I ported it over a year ago just never updated here due to lack of posts. I can't remember what state of working it was in, as it's incompatible with KCauldron (which has it built-in) - but you're welcome to try it
Do you have GitHub/is the source available for the 1.7.10 build? I need to tweak something to make the mod load with Vivecraft (Not worth submitting as it'll break minor functions, so just for my own use really)
I believe so, there was work on a re-release but I'm not sure on how far progress is. I've been rewriting and modifying RPGCore (screenshots above) and designing a matching UI for them - but beyond that idk how much they have.
This doesn't work, I put the folder in the mod folder (unzipped) and when I loaded Minecraft, it said three mods loaded, and when I got into the world, I went into my inventory and nothing from the mod was showing up.
Try putting a different mod in the mods folder, it sounds like you may be loading the wrong game instance? Even if installed wrong MCHeli will still load, you just won't have any planes - the creative tabs will still be there and you'd still get smoke grenades, drafting table and so on.
Btw I would love to help you, I have been really concentrating on Flans mod recently so I can sorta build a runway for you and the planes

I love this mod, but when i added to a mod pack (Project Greg) when i start flying/driving a vehicle it starts to rubber band which is extremely annoying. I have installed it mod to many other modpacks with no problems. If you know any mods that could have a issue with mcheli and i can check if i have them installed
Rubber banding is normally caused by lag more than anything else - and is more common on servers than clients. If you're on a server it could be almost anything. The only mod known to cause issues currently is Smart Moving, but that doesn't mean it's the only one.
I'm really hoping this mod is stilling being updated. Its awesome! From the looks of the forum and from the authors own blog, it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while.

OMG flenix. Why have you just abandoned Flenix Roads. Please consider going back to the mod. I am bored right now and I have been since I learnt about the new update. Also stop ignoring my Private Messages because seriously people are gonna think that the mod is dead. (which is what I am starting to think)
The mod isn't "dead". I have other projects to work on and FR is one of my least popular mods; most people who use it are using creative and are pretty happy with it as-is. Future updates will happen, once Advanced Armoury and FlenixCitiesFood are both at the same stage that FR is; IE stable and usable even if not "complete".
I ignored your PM's because frankly they started getting rude. I do what I do for free, and I do it for myself first then release it for people to use, for free. Same goes for 90% of other mod developers, we don't "owe" the community anything.
Having trouble getting the modpack running. Downloaded a fresh install of 1.7.10, and installed Forge #1558. I know forge is working fine as Optifine loads up perfectly.
This is the error I get:
Delete the 1.7.10 folder inside your /mods folder and try again (It'll reinstall by itself). If that doesn't work take a screenshot of the mods folder please
I'm sure it hit this ages ago? Last time I checked how my mod was doing there was at least 850 up...
Anyway, lets test that mod thing with a little harmless promotion
(Guess I should update the project a bit over there... It'd be nice to get a few bonus downloads, I've almost got enough points for the £10 amazon voucher :D)
It'd be great if it was all mic'd a bit better... ie each Bukkit member having their own so we could hear them all and a shotgun mic for the audience (What they use on news etc, only picks up what its pointing at nothing else)
Just throwing it out there for if whoever sees it wants to improve in the future.
For all the people who complain about various things not working, remember the following:
To install, you go to the .minecraft folder, and replace the minecraft.jar with this new one. Delete minecraft-1-7-3.jar (or whatever its called)
If you have any client mods installed previously, I suggest a clean install BEFORE you update - ie, delete the entire bin folder and open minecraft, then do the step above.
Also remember, NO custom texture pack above 16x will work right at the moment, as there isn't a patch fix yet. 16x texture packs need to be updated, or you wont be able to see your new xp bars etc or any new items. PM me and I'll tell you how to update the texture pack yourself to have basic minecraft textures where textures are missing.
Finally, if you use custom clients (like Spoutcraft) they won't work with it yet, you need to use the standard client.
I think thats everything.. Don't forget this is a pre-release of a beta game. You can't really get anything more "demo" than that so there WILL be bugs.
(OH and to fly in creative mode, double jump. Trading that for anyone who can tell me to do the "block stance")
