Today, I download a texture pack called LeetleCraft (8x). I put it in the texture pack section, I select, and my game won't load at all. I have to go into the %appdata% files to just weed it out. I then come across a 4x pack, which name I don't remember, I download/install, same thing happens. Does anyone know what's going on? I'm using Optifine, which usually fixes this stuff.
Wow, looks good! I'd test, but for some reason, I can't use any texture packs below 16x or my game won't load. Here's an apple for your hard work. :-( ):
Okay, thanks. I was wondering why I got about 60 FPS with Guild Wars (an MMO with graphics on par with WOW), and only about half that on Minecraft. I'll go try it out, thanks.
About the Nividia cards, my MineCraft runs at about 35Fps with Optifine and some mods. Will doing the stuff with the Nividia control panel at the first post boost my FPS?
So, I was making a copy of my .minecraft folder, and I named the copy ".minecraft 2" when I try to name it back, it says an error message containing "You must type a file name" even though I did. Any help?

It's a 4x pack.
Also, I'm actually using Optifine at the moment.
