I apologize if this is not in the correct section.
I walk up to my local comic book store out of curiosity, as I have never read many comic books aside from manga. I picked up Batman #1, because I played the game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, OMAC #1, due to me hearing a friend at school talking about it, and The Flash #1, mainly because I've heard good things about it. Needless to say, I enjoyed all three of them greatly. After talking to the friend who discussed OMAC with me earlier, he agreed to lend me some other OMAC issues. After doing a high amount of research, I ran into the whole thing with what DC was doing with the new 52. I was very glad. I spoke with my friend the other day about different comic book stores. He said his store had a sweet membership deal which gave all these discounts, and I was pleased. Looking even more, I Realized that I want to have a number of regular series. I'm thinking of having about 4 or 5. Can someone recommend me some comics, (DC or Marvel) that I can put into this lineup of 5? Also, do you know of any way to get comics cheaper? 2.99, even after all of the discounts at this comic store I'm going to, is still kind of steep. Thanks.
A bit off topic, but for those who played Oblivion, what level do you recommend I be before I go into the first Oblivion gate? I'm level 2 and I got destroyed.
If you buy the game of the year edition, a second disc is included with the expansions, but if its not they need to be downloaded. Also, great pick oblivion is my favourite X-Box game.
EDIT: By the way, you could always just ask the cashier. They usually know.
I asked the cashier when I bought it today, and he said they may have to be downloaded. I was hoping you didn't have to, especially with the PS3 using Blu-Ray which has far higher memory capabilities than DVD. I'll check it tonight when I play it.
So, the other day I was thinking about picking up Elder Scrolls Oblivion Game of the Year Edition for the PS3. I also noticed it came with both of the expansion packs. In my house, however, we are not allowed to have PSN accounts for privacy reasons. I am also thinking of picking the game up used, as I can get it cheaper, (and with a Buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned coupon at Gamestop, it couldn't hurt!). My question is, are the expansion packs for this game contained on the disc, or do they have to be downloaded?
You are correct. Notch is a major troll and I love that he keeps up with the fan humor. Maybe someday he really will add herobrine and make it so rare that nobody believes the few that encounter him.
There has been changes to water and lava interaction. Previously lava would be able to fall through water. In the current version that will now create normal stone. Cobble can still be made by making horizontally flowing lava hit water.
