In 4th grade, we had a "hoedown" where they tried to teach us about southern culture by pairing us up for square dances. We dressed up like cowboys and did grandmother-appealing dances for a crowd of parents and grandparents. Of course, the girl I had to dance with had terrible breath, so I wore a bandanna to block out the scent without insulting her at all. After that, my friends started calling me Bandito, and when I've used this as an online name ever since.
Wow, that's pretty clever, I would've never thought of that. (The bandanna.)
I'd love to go, I can afford a ticket, but as with most cons, it's too far away, and airfare is a *****. Not only that, but I don't have the ability to drop everything and go to Vegas.
But, yeah, pretty much what NBord said, there are tons of mods out there to re-create your interest. Optinfine will speed up your performance, not to mention there are some pretty cool texture packs you can try.
Yeah, I use 1.8.1, too, it runs pretty decent, can't use any texture packs above 32x without it having a seizure though. 1.9 Pre would probably beat the living crap out of my computer.
I used to use spitman for all my stuff, mainly Pokemon accounts, but my dad got really pissed and said it was "too vulgar", within about a minute I thought of Funrush, started using it, gave the spitman name to my little bro, and lived happily ever after.
DBZ mates XDXD. Anyway back on topic I would like better FPS on my computer, minecraft is pretty laggy for some reason.
Ha, yeah. :smile.gif: On topic also, I would love to finally play MineCraft with an HD texture pack using default settings. I really can't wait for this.
On Thursday, Notch posted this article on his blog. The first part of it says that he and Jens only have two major things left to implement before the release in November, (Hopefully the finish of NPCs and The SkyWorld) and that he plans to stop all new development on October 18 to give him one month before the release of the game to "focus on just fixing bugs, cleaning up the code, and optimizing the performance to make sure the release will be as good as possible." He then says that he will continue working on new stuff after the release. I'm glad that Notch announced this, we really will need this considering all of the complaints people have been giving about FPS since 1.8.
Hypercam, Camtasia Studio, both test versions, i got them cracked, but i think you can record endless with a good quality.
Camtasia isn't free, you can get an earlier version of HyperCam for free. I may try either HyperCam or CamStudio. Also, I heard HyperCam has a watermark at the top if it's unregistered. How can you "register" it.
Hey, I was going to make some Minecraft videos, but I don't have a recording software. I was going to use Fraps because my friend told me about it, but it cost money, and the free version only records for 30 seconds. Does anyone know of any free legal (Not pirating) screen recording software?
I use Vista, really have no idea why everyone hates it so much, had been working fine for me for the past 4 (?) years. I probably will upgrade by the time Windows 8 rolls around.

Yeah, really, this sums up about 90% of my friends. They're so stupid about this crap, it's hilarious.
