    I kinda want to see hostile mobs in Mushroom Biomes honestly, but more of something that not going to actively chase you down and try to kill you. :3 Maybe something like a Mandako or such. :3

    And for the rainbow thing, just do:

    And I thought I should get everyone opion on this, but I an almost done with the first page that I was working on...


    Note that it may change, so I am not saying that this is the final version, but this is how most of the pages will look like. :3

    Well, any mod, even vanilla ones, can spawn on Stone Slabs if it is dark enough, though only on the upper half ones or double half slabs. So as long as it is dark in the area where the slabs are, any mob that spawns in the dark can spawn there.

    No, Silentine is not planning on adding any Armor or weapons. When there was armor and weapons last time, it caused more issues then they were worth, and made updating to new versions of Minecraft more of a hassle. If you are having trouble fighting the mobs from this mod, I suggest adding a another mod that adds better weapons (which is highly suggested on the OP), or learn to fight the new mobs using different tactics then you are currently using. ;P

    Weird, last time I looked at BoP the mod creator said that he was never going to make it where it work on Forge (last time I remember, he really, REALLY, hated Forge...).

    But for mod support, you will need to find a mod that allows for Mob Spawn Control, since this mod is not going to be able to work on that kinda support for some time.

    Found a Bug/Crash while using version 1.5.1.2.0.6 of this mod... Seems whenever you shift+left click the little question mark from NEI to fill in the recipe, it makes the game crash. :/ Next time I do this, I will give you the crash report (because so far ever time I have done it my internet is out and I am on Offline mode so I can't post it right away. ~.~).

    But I am using CodeChickenCore 0.8.6.3, NotEnoughItems 1.5.2.10, and Forge 7.7.2.682 when I get this crash. And it only seems to happen whenever I do items added by this mod. :\


    Edit: Also thought I should mention that this is the 1.5.1 version I am using. o.o

    Edit #2: Sorry, I didn't notice that 1.5.1.2.0.7 was for 1.5.1 version of Minecraft going to update to it soon and see if everything still works. ^.^"

    Hello everyone, I was looking to form a Mod Development team to put together a mod that I have been thinking alot about. The thing is, I don't have any real knowledge about modding except for when it comes to making mobs. ^.^"

    But the idea of the mod is to make it where the player can fabricate colors using different machines and process and for some mild weather control. The colors would come in two different forms, as[i] [Color] Spectrum[/i], or as[i] Bucket of [Color] Spectrum[/i]. The mod itself would run off of Forge and will use Minecraft Joules in order to power the machines form this mod.


    The name of the mod you ask?
    Well, it will be called, the [i]Rainbow Factory[/i] mod, of course. ;3
    Yes I do know that Rainbow Factory is a name of a MLP CreepyPasta/Story, but that is also the source of this mod idea. ;P


    Things that this will add:
    So that people not playing with Buildcraft or other mods that add a power source for MJ can get power, this mod will add to new engines to the game. A [i]Solar Engine[/i], and a [i]Weather Engine[/i].

    But before you can craft these engines, you first need to get ahold of a new item... The [i]Colorful Gear[/i]!

    To craft a[i] Colorful gear[/i], you need Rose Red, Lapis Lazuli, Cactus Green, Bone Meal, and a iron ingot in the following pattern:

    *Colorful Gear image is not final, but is a place holder for now.*

    Or, if you have a Buildcraft installed, you can be alittle cheaper and use the following recipe instead:

    *Colorful Gear image is not final, but is a place holder for now.*

    The [i]Solar Engine[/i] is as simple as it sounds, it runs as long as it has a direct view of the sky. Though, since this engine runs for free, it produces about MJ 3~6, doesn't overheat, and will stop running if there is any weather going on and at night.

    Here is the recipe:


    The [i]Weather Engine [/i]is, also, as simple as it sounds, as in, it runs when there is weather going on. This Engine will produce more MJ then the Solar Engine, but as stated, will only run when there is weather conditions (aka Rain, Snow, Overcast), but never overheats.

    And the recipe for this would be:


    You may ask, why would you want these Engine to work only during certain weather? Well, because this mod will also let you have small control over the weather,though we will talk about this part alittle later.


    Well, now, you have a source of power, but to power what?

    The first machine added by this mod will allow you to break down dyes into [i]Spectrum[/i]. What is Spectrum? Well, Spectrum is Liquid Color, broken down from the dyes so that it is easier to mix, use, and store in any way you feel like.


    Well, what if I want to store Spectrum?

    I am planning on adding multi-block liquid tanks much like the ones that Railcraft and Xycraft have so that you can hold the liquids without having a external mod, but if you don't want to store like that, you will be able to fill Buckets with Spectrum and there will also be another machine to turn Spectrum back into a solid mass that you can store in whatever chest you want.

    There will also be another way to collect Spectrum without having to go and pick flowers or mine all day, but that is top secret for now. ;3

    Well, Bonemeal works for vanilla crops or anything growable from it, but only the Magical Fertilizer will work on the Magical Crops. o.o Not even the Industrial Fertilizer added by the mod will work on plants from Magical Crops... Though if I remember correctly, tone of the mod's coder actually added support for the two mods to work together himself. o.o

    Yup yup, it works as in making the Magic Crops actually growing, even to the point of full growth, though getting the actual machine that actually does it can be abit tedious to get ahold of. :\

    Did you make sure to put the new texture in a texture pack folder? To do so, in the texture pack's zip, make the following folders mods>DimensionalDoor>textures>blocks. This is how the mod finds the textures in texture packs. ;3 For example, I changed the color of the blockDimWall.png to a bright green and put it into the texture folder I told you about so I have a good area to take pictures in while I work on a project for another mod. Here is a example of what it looks like now ingame:

    Don't mind the Anubis from Grimoire of Gaia in the center of the room.

    See? It's not too hard to do. ;p
