Hey guys, did you know that if you are donating to a Minecraft server to get full diamond armor, its not a donation? Thats called a transaction. Why? Because a donation doesn't give you anything in return. I remember seeing this post once that showed how little people know about the word "donation"

The person who posted this runs a server. Here is a common conversation for them: (by the way this isn't an exact quote.)

Player: What do I get for donating?

Server Owner: Nothing... its a donation.

Player: Can I get OP if I donate?

Server Owner: No. Its a donation.

Player: This is such a bad server!

Player has left the game

I am so amazed that now some players WANT pay-to-win. Its so flipping stupid.

My reason for saying it counters it is because you said you were happy it was being enforced but then you said you didn't like that rule. It just doesn't make sense

Look, I'm sorry about my post first of all. I didn't really think before i posted, my reasoning was bad. I honestly get annoyed with this topic in general. I would definitely consider it the admin one more of a ripoff. Why? Because people shouldn't be spending more than what they paid for to buy the game just to get something on a server. Its not that I'm against advantages. I'm more against overpriced advantages. Especially with how if one server does it, others will. I hate when that happens so much.
