In fact I just tested it. If you can get to where the blocks traverse a bottom corner between pistons, if you find the right spot and put a switch it will stay and you can flip it and jam the whole thing up.
Edit: by switch I mean lever. And it seems it must be placed by the piston which pushes up. When you flip the lever it can stop that piston and block the whole ring so you could break it.

Unless it's smashing the blocks against something, it'll be cake to click the mouse and put a torch on. You don't have to sit there and like glue the torch to the block or anything. You click and it puts it on whatevers in front of you.
Breaking it, however, wouldn't be possible without TNT, unless it's Obsidian. So points for that, at least.

The issue is that the chickens came from artificial eggs, and they don't really have any parents.
However, we're working on another study using sheep, which will be posted in a few minutes.

Hmm, I can only assume I'm not flushing them fast enough. Also, the room around the spawner should be 8x8 right?

IF what you say is true, it should be possible with a fishing rod. Cast the fishing rod at the dragon, then go stand beneath your tracks and minecart and reel in. Thats how I got a ghast in my minecart earlier. I am NOT approving this will work. I leave the honor for approving it to you.

Who needs fortune 3? My swrod has fire aspect 2, smite 5, and sharpness 3, and it is funner than a barrel of creepers/

Iron is fairly easy to find, but not to an extent that it will cause mass inflation.
Plus the fact that it is useful means that players won't sell it that quickly, they would most likely hoarde it up and make tools and armour with it.
