Don't Skeletons attack other mobs in Survival?

Only sometimes accidentally, while aiming for you. I'm not sure if it still causes the monster they hit to attack back, but it did before, at least.

Paypal takes a cut and he's got taxes to deal with as well, though. He maybe gets half of that at most, though I'm not sure about the exact amount.

Is that the skin for apples?

The red blob? I don't think so, since last I checked you can find apples elsewhere in Minecraft's files, (I think it was under either items or GUI or something) and they looked a lot less like weird red blobs.

as a side note to my comment uuuuhm.. o_O what is under the sappling in the new indev update?
    lava coal? o_O

thats gonna drive me nuts - cuss I have no friggin idea..

    Are those chairs?
and what are those sea urchin looking things?

The sea urchin things are the main parts of gears, which have been obtainable through NBTEdit for a while now. I'm pretty sure the chairs aren't though.

Also, if there's nothing below the map anymore, does this mean I'll have to go back to using torches for lighting? D: And obsidian is so useless, I wish you could actually mine it, it'll take forever to clear out what I already made.

So wait, where exactly is it? Just below the bottom lava? Replaces it? What?

'Cause I really hope there's still a reliable source of lava at the bottom of the map, or I'll have to start using torches. D: (My mine currently only extends to regions generated before the update, which I assume aren't affected?)

Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached. :( i keep gettign this error when i try to post it :( maybe i will try a third party site,
    http://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B-36iXg ... YmM4&hl=en
i have 37 of them i hope the quality is ok, maybe i should place one and show it,
    https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B-36iX ... OTcz&hl=en

Yeah, for some reason half-doors seem to have separate block ids from just regular door items, so in theory it should be possible to edit them in too. I have no idea how you got it without NBTedit though.

I spawned on a fair sized island. (I'd estimate 40x60). But the only problem is there's no coal!!
Do what I always do. Stairmine til you hit lava. You'll get at least one lump of coal before you hit lava.

Plus if by some terrible luck you don't, you can make a tunnel from the bottom of it and use lava alcoves instead of torches.

I just build tunnels, mostly. Working at night is the same as during the day, no terrain issues, and you get plenty of rock for building with. Two wide, three tall, torches in alcoves every ten blocks, staircase to the surface every hundred. No monsters either, unless they come down the stairs, which doesn't happen often.

If you dig to the bottom of the map, you don't even need torches! You can just dig quick lava alcoves on the sides of your tunnels every few blocks, with a gap one block tall leading to the lava so you don't fall in. It must have saved me hundreds of torches by now.

Instead of that, you could dig a hole in the middle of the floor and put glass over it. It provides slightly more light as it is only penned in on two sides, not three.

Yeah, but glass is kind of bothersome to get, and without water physics on you can only gather so much without making your beaches look terrible. :P That tiny bit of more light isn't worth it anyways, it only takes two pickaxe uses to make an alcove, which in my opinion is far less costly than one piece of glass.

I don't think it is, but isn't this old news?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure this recent update is the one that added the golden apple as an actual item in the game. (The sprite could be seen in the game's files, but you couldn't get it, even with inventory editing.)

The apple's been available for a while if you NBTEdited it, though.

I know this isn't fake because when I was going to go add water to my Infdev inventory the golden apple was part of that list of codes for items. (Haven't actually gotten it and tested the restorative properties though.)

In Indev I used to build 2 block wide cobblestone roads that were inlaid in the ground and were more for ease of navigation than ease of travel, but in Infdev I've just been mining huge labyrinths underground that I sometimes connect with the surface instead.

There's adminium under the lava, fool. :P You can see it if you drop sand into the lava and delete it before the lava fills it.

    Lava? Fill?

    You sure you're playing Infdev?

(FYI it is actually just a vast ocean of lava beneath the map. So the only ways to get out are half-block steps and tnt.)

FYI if the hole you are stuck in is 2 blocks wide, you can place sand at the edge it will turn into lava, letting you swim up it onto the surface.

No idea how to survive after that though (on fire and all)
    Pork chest near lava holes?

You mean the sand-liquid swapping glitch from creative is back? Interesting. I thought you guys were saying you could use the sand as a platform. Sorry. But yeah, that's a viable method too then.
