Dude, slime chunks are very rare. You think you've got a shitload of slimes? I built an identical mob trap (Kiershar's SMP trap.) and not a single slime spawned. I have not seen a single f*cking slime for weeks.
You think they need to be nerfed? You are so wrong.
And also, if you have tons of good stuff at the end of the challenge that's obviously sucess.
Ah, okay. I immediately spawned an infinite amount of diamond blocks, an infinite amount of diamond tools and armor, and made a massive base in the side of a massive mountain. I flattened the entire immediate area, then replaced all of the ground with obsidian, then created a massive layer of obsidian a few layers below the maximum height. The layer blocks out all the sun.
I think playing legit is much more rewarding, but its all preference.
I completely agree, a building that you've worked hard to create just feels more satisfying than a building you just spawned an infinite amount of something for.
Quarries are amazing ways to get massively high amounts of cobblestone. How is that pointless? That's like saying farming is pointless, because it gets you wheat, or that chopping trees is pointless because you get wood.
I tried doing that, myself, but it has to be within a certain distance of a source block for it to not decay. I had to replace them with glass because of it, something I wish I hadn't done, because it isn't nearly as cool anymore.
Plenty of dirt, cobble, saplings, eggs, mushrooms, and a few iron blocks to be sure. Also, coal. When you build your base, try not to make it too big, or Ghasts may spawn in it, which can be extremely annoying.
81. A room completely filled to the brim with TNT
82. A room completely filled to the brim with...creepers....
83. A wall with a large opening and no torches near it (At night, all death breaks loose...)
I didn't think you could trademark a single word, I thought Bethesda could only trademark the phrase: "The Elder Scrolls" or just "Elder Scrolls" not the word scrolls itself. Does this mean Bethesda is gonna sue the creators of the bible and the dictionary, too?

First, you want- get this- FOUR WALLS, and a ceiling that is a respectable height above your head.
Second, you want to have- believe it folks- A DOOR, to get in and out.
Third, you'll want these magical thingies called WINDOWS, make them out of glass, so you can SEE OUTSIDE WOOOOOOOAH
There. You have a home. If you are so worried about Enderman, don't look at them.
