In this case, begging is Illegal.

    Indeed it is.

But I suppose that this is justifiable by the fact that plenty of other things (I.e servers or other mods.) are in fact doing the same thing.

I suppose this could be considered morally wrong, but if others are getting away with it, why not they? And I believe BobMowzie clarified that the money is going to what they say it is, and I strongly trust his word.

So really, as long as it's going to serve a purpose that isn't making income, it's fine. (Ish.)

Servers =/= Mods. The EULA has special rules for servers.

    Hmm...Agree here.

Not sure who to go with.

I should really just stay out of it.

What, I'm sorry could you please provide actual proof that we break any of it? Also we will not sell helicopters, we don't know who said it but as far as our plans go for vehicles and anything game altering for that matter, players will not pay a single dime to do anything.

    Sorry about this.

I don't want to start anything, just throwing this out there.

I know you already have a jungle creature but I put a lot of time of into the creature.😅

hes a vine like creature that pretends to be vine until you climb on it

ounce you climb it you be pulled up into nest in the jungle trees leaves but he'll let you go but will steal half of all your food but not all but if want to fight it you better be ready for a death battle 😈

it will suck you in or will throu wood logs at you slowly but if beatn you'll get a jungle plate

if used right (you shift right click)you shoot out a vine that fling forward like a grappling hook

Which wouldn't be good, we need 1.7.10 since it's the standard... trying to work on 1.8 AND maintaining a 1.7.10 port is too much work so don't count on it -_-

The mod makes $100 something dollars from the illegal milking of Patreon and yet they decided to skip the standard at the cost of screwing us players over. If they wanted to do things their way then why ask for 'donations'... moddings a hobby, not a job so if they need money to develop then they should go get a real job instead of trying to milk their community.

I see modders all the time say "The player base seems to think we work for them instead of modding as a hobby" yet they still try to make money from it... sorry, it's not a two way street s it doesn't work like that.
It's either a job or it's a hobby and since it's illegal to sell mods that makes it a hobby by default.
Modders call players entitled, well we should call modders entitled as well since they seem to think they deserve our money for doing their hobby. They also seem to think just because they make a mod that they are automatically deserving of players respect when respect doesn't work like that... like, at all.

The illegal activity and the constant passive aggresive(sometimes outright) lashing out at payers that disagree with them that most modders do now and days is disgusting in my eyes, thus I hold no more respect for alot of them. Theres a common pattern here, when a mod gets popular they start becoming more 'corrupt' as time goes on, getting ruder and more egotistical as if they can't be brought down at all when that isn't true at all since MANY modders have been brought down by a version update to the game they modded for.
Basically modern modders show greed, a personality value that I hate and go out of my way to avoid myself. Until they prove they can mod on their own two feet without selling themselves out for 'donations' I hold no respect for them and probably never will... but considering that just calling a illegal transaction a 'donation' is enough to cover their tracks I guess a drug dealer can do the same eh?

    In other words, until modders all get off their respective high horses I hold no more love for a community I once held dear to me... which is depressing as heck ;_;

It's not all modders, in fact very few, if at all.

A good lot of us don't do these things. Please don't generalize like that.

It'll break the game because it'll cause the mobs to derp, have broken models, or even crash the game.

    how?

F/A has always been known for its pleasant simplicity and overall Minecraftiness. I feel that these new animations would disturb that nice simplicity.

Those are still good animations nonetheless, I'm just torn between 'good' or 'bad' for the mod.

Right guys I am issueing a challenge. While texturing models and items heck even armour is something I can do reasonably well. However when it comes to complex block textures I must admit I have my limits. After an excrusiating number of tries and making a good enough gold texture I have failed. From textures that look like box of cheese, to vomit and even golden gravel I have come to the end of the line. This is why I would like to issue a challenge for who can make the best gold texture. The texture needs to look both as a carpet like slab and a block so it is best to used as a gold texture. The deadline is Thursday next week. The best texture will not only be featured and credited in the mod but the person that produced it will have a unique dragon recolour for their own use to replace one of the current variants that will be made available to them and can be redistributed by them at their leisure or if you could think of a different but equally reasonable prize let me know if you win.

    I had this lying around.
