I want to bump this as well.

Also, make snow/ice meltable. During winter it doesn't melt during summer it does.

posted a message on XP Orbs Dropping on Death - Crashing servers
I already posted in the bug thread, even though it's not a bug. In my opinion it's just really bad design, and not thought over at all. Anyone with some logical thinking sees that: Endless exp + dropping all exp on death = endless entities of exp in one location = CPU overload. Nothing should be endless.

Solution: Players only drop 5 orbs max when dieing.

Our multiplay server is down now, because the host computer almost overheated. Good job =.=

posted a message on Official 1.8 Bug Thread!
When someone with alot of experience dies, they drop all experience orbs, making it lag quite a bit because of having so many items on the floor. It's not really a bug, but endless experience + dropping all experience on death is not right. Basic programming design failure. :tongue.gif: I'm kidding, but yeah.

    Version of Minecraft:
    1.8.1

    SSP or SMP: SMP

    Can you repeat this bug:
yes, by the person with loads of experience dieing (or whoever picked it up)

What issues does the bug Cause: Loads of server lag, client lags basically too much memory being used for this much experience. The person with so much experience has more lag than other people as well.

Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: only appear as of version 1.8, and of course it depends per server/ computer how much lag there is.

"SOLUTION": having everyone in the server move to said location to share and help with picking up all that experience so much faster. (derp) Not a real solution though.

Please do something about this. Like not losing Experience.

posted a message on [1.4.7] ejhopkins Wild Grass v16.0 updated for Forge
Tbh Wildgrass is way better than tall grass. Since it actually simulates growth. Though might be taxing on the computer too much. But what is very disappointing is that he isn't able to improve on the original ideas. like hatchets being next to eachother to open simultaneously. Like wildgrass appearing in only some biomes, there would be Grass patches. And those are just examples.

Fire doesn't seem to hurt anymore when it's on top of a block and you're standing right next to it even when "pressing" in the direction of the fire, it simply doesn't do damage. Kinda of silly imo.

posted a message on Misa's Realistic Texture Pack - 1.20.1+ UPDATED ELSEWHERE!
    Simply awesome pack.
I've been comparing lots of packs and this is the first one that actually has matching.. well everything.

Some minor things I personally don't find fitting or weird, which is entirely personal of course:
The flowing water animation is...too fast? it doesn't seem to match with the still water. From a far the motion is hardly noticeable. It might also be too light, but it really depends.
I personally don't like the glowstone (incl. alternates), but then I have no idea myself how it could look good at all. :tongue.gif:

Some textures mismatch in contrast a tiny bit still. But overall a great pack.

(I hope that didn't sound too negative or something. I just felt like they could be different, better to my taste. I really like the pack.)

posted a message on 1.5_01 = Lame patch
    Obvious troll is obvious.
Not only that, he's whining over:
Flying is not allowed, basically only nice for transportation and building. I can see his point here that it might be harder to build something. Tough luck. I never had trouble actually gathering stuff either. He must fail at this game, even more so because:
Then he complains about not being able to grief.
Dude, since when do you need mods to be able to grief in a standard server? xD
Kill a few creepers, get some TNT. DOne.

Learn 2 Play dude. ;P (considering this game isn't hard at all, that's pretty impressive)

I'm still rofling about it. Griefing with hacks or mods xD and we're the noobs xD
