    Copied from the wiki:

It looks like you only have about 8 doors there, and already 3 or 4 villagers, so you might need to add more doors.

    Also, check http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Villager#Willingness

Have you traded with several of them or given them food?

I'll try adding more doors. They've all been maxed out in trade, and they've all got food. Perhaps doors were the issue. I'll add in about 10 more doors.

I've been reading around that a lot of luck is involved, and that some people had to wait weeks just for them to breed. Are you sticking around in the same place as the villagers? I also read they can't breed in unloaded chunks.

Yeah, my base is probably 40 blocks from that village. It must be a luck thing.

I made a village and cured some zombie villagers to try to get a population going, but after about a week, the little dudes won't make babies. I'm not sure what I'm missing. Any insight would be wonderful.

Here's a video demonstrating my issue:

Also I'm running minecraft 1.8.8 on a surivival multiplayer server.

posted a message on Tips for man made terrain mainly mountains
The hardest thing for me when building man-made terrain is making sure to not make everything even/symmetrical. I'd say try to look at how the world naturally slopes down mountains and try to mimic that style as best as you can.

P.S. I misread your title as "Manly Mountains" at first, and I was going to give you tips on how to give your mountain the manliest of moustaches.

    Quote from Shredifier

Hey, I took the time to watch a few minutes of your first video and most recent one, i don't get bored easily and you weren't boring me, but i am very unlike many other people that are going to watch your videos.
For starters, 40 minutes is a very long time for a new youtuber to be making his videos, people's attention span is only that long if you are really funn and engaging etc. all of the time, and i didn't find you that engaging, although you didn't have long gaps in between talking or doing anything, which is good!

For me when i watch a lets play series that makes me hit subscribe that i keep going back to, is consistency or performance throughout the episode, eg being productive, clarity and niceness of voice, or being funny.

In essence, talk about anything, absolutely anything that yo find might interest somebody, and try to do it all of the time, mostly talk about the game and what you're going to do so the viewer can follow along and is not in constant bewilderment.

To improve your videos man, you need to have a louder voice, or be louder and more enthusiastic, because you come across as monotone, but that is not always a bad thing! You content is fine as far as lets playing goes, but try to restrict the episode time, not many people have 40 minutes!

If anything, it's a good start to a channel, i only have a few videos, a mix of a lot of games including a little bit of minecraft, but i've only just started out as well, for ideas on clarity of voice, check out my video, not that the content is that overly amazing, but just my mic quality is very good, food for though (: -walls of text-

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the tips very much! The one biggest issue I cannot currently improve is the volume of my voice, because my mic doesn't receive my voice terribly well. When I do record, I am rather loud, though I do know I need to improve my enthusiasm.

Hey guys, I've recently started a Let's Play series, and I'm trying to adjust it slightly to make it more appealing. What do you guys like in a Let's Play series? I'm looking for anything from what the LPer talks about to mods or limitations they put on themselves. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

    Let's Play Minecraft!

Hey guys! My name is FriedTaco and I'm a brand new LPer and I'd love some feedback on my series! I don't do only Minecraft videos, though they're the main focus of my channel right now. I don't have my SMP series started quite yet, but hope to have it up in a few days.

    Singleplayer

In my singleplayer world, I'm starting from scratch and trying to limit myself on what I can do in Minecraft to make things more of a challenge. So far I'm playing on Hard difficulty, I'm only building above ground, and I can only use ores that I find in caves, so no strip mines for me!
