Any chance we could get support for variable size portal frames like the nether portals? I want to work a Twilight Forest portal into a building I am making but I use a 3x3 grid rather than a 2x2.

Ha3 released a pseudo-official resource pack, a conversion of MSI. I posted the link a few pages back, but here it is again:

As for the lack of liteloader versions, when installing Liteloader, you have to use the dropdown menu that says extend from and then click your Forge version. That will chain it to Forge and create a new user profile that uses the name you specified when installing.

The final option is to just extract the jar to your .minecraft/mods/1.7.10 directory, and Forge will treat it as any other Forge mod.

This should help all of you having issues with the installation.

Here is a link to Ha3's MSI conversion. This is the resource pack that works with MAtmos 1.7.10

The link was in the post directly above yours. Please browse the thread a little before asking questions.

    WHere do I put this?

You place it into the Resource Packs folder. The person who compiled the archive put the contents within a subfolder, so you will have to extract them, then rezip everything from inside that folder. If you zip the folder itself it will leave the folder inside. When properly zipped, it should be named assets.zip and you can rename it to whatever you want.

    Its Not working.
I dont hear any Birds or wind sounds.

Verify your installation of MAtmos, then.

    Checklist:

Liteloader installed? (If Forge also installed, chained to Forge?)

-You will see a little Chicken icon on your main screen's top right edge if Liteloader is installed.

    MAtmos r28 in %appdata%/.minecraft/mods/1.7.10/ folder?

    Resource pack in correct location?

Using the correct user profile (mine is 1.7.10-Liteloader 1.7.10-1.7.10-Forge10.12.0.1203, but without Forge it should be 1.7.10-Liteloader 1.7.10)?

    Hopefully this helps.

Whoa there, spoilers are what you want to use for those. Also, post this on the Liteloader thread if the issue is just after installing Liteloader.

After checking this thread so many times I thought I should give props to the author. I am EXTREMELY hard on resource packs. I have a total of like 5 that I completely like an will use. I've spent hours at a time scouring forums and sites looking for the perfect resource pack for me.

The only packs I find that are worth anything are Pixel Perfection, Eldpack, Goodly Pack, Eyvindr, and of course Chivalry.

I mean it's hard to choose favorites here but holy biscuits, your work is amazing! Like this and Eldpack are the only resource packs I've found with attractive GUI's as well as textures!

I stalked you slightly to see why this hasn't been updated and you said for lack of motivation but I can't have possibly my favorite resource pack artist being unmotivated! You've made something awesome that I am totally ecstatic about! People ask me why I would play such a game as Minecraft with this pixelized graphics in our day and age but it's people like you that show them how amazing a grouping of squares can look!

I do hope you get motivated and can continue the wonderful work you've done here, and I want to thank you for everything you've done so far.

    Thank you.

Well said! I am in the same boat as you, here. I actually found out about Chivalry because Maffhew posted about his texture pack on the thread of what was, at the time , my favourite texture pack (RIP Feathersong). I personally have always found HD packs to be hideous, so finding these rare gems of people who actually make the limitations of 16x work to make something beautiful have nothing but admiration from me. Keep up the good work , Maffhew! =D

Awesome mod, just one suggestion. Players should be able to use coal or charcoal in place of the ink sacks to craft the map duplicates.

Small but meaningful content updates every month have given way to a massive and overlong development cycle where gimmicky content takes precedence over actual progress.

This. Most of the content is definitely too gimmicky, and I feel that pretty soon we're going to see a massive influx of content removal mods, such as Captain Buzzkill's aforementioned Endermen. I personally feel that the Endermen aren't that bad, since you can choose not to fight them just by not looking directly at them, but making their spawning more rare would be nice.
