Sep 10, 2014FreedomsFlame posted a message on Microsoft Buying Minecraft?Mojang should remain independent. If a major company takes over, the constraints set upon it will greatly hinder content development. Rather than creating new and interesting content, "safe" DLC will be released, and Minecraft will lose its spark. Had Microsoft owned Minecraft in its earlier days, redstone never would have been added to the game because it would have been deemed out of place in a game about survival. But instead, since it was ran by an independent company, incredible and interesting additions such as that were added. Admittedly, "safe" updates are what are being released now, but even so, there is still massive diversity in what can be done with this game, and it is all because there was no pressure from some higher power demanding sales milestones and more money. This is just a small piece from one person, but I hope it can help change any minds that may have been made up about any sale to Microsoft.Posted in: News

Jul 20, 2011FreedomsFlame posted a message on Notch Reveals Leveling and PermadeathI agree that permadeath should only be on Hardcore. The EXP will be a nice way to do scoring on adventure maps though... So you have hidden EXP orbs that you find from doing puzzles and whatnot. This will be really fun!Posted in: News

While nothing was specified about it, there also appears to be a new mystery bar beneath the health track - what could it be?
I think that's the armor bar. And the one where the armor is now is a hunger meter. Look at the sprite! It's a chicken leg! (I think) - To post a comment, please login.

Glad to see you're back, Maffhew. As a long-time fan of Chivalry, I'm liking the new direction for Excalibur. I've been making my own updates to Chivalry for private use for the last couple years, including some mod support, so if you'd like any help with texturing or mod support let me know.

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but will you be adding the ability to access roles through dialogue? Specifically, I'd like to be able to make a trader NPC who can also give quests through his dialogue. Barring that particular lack of functionality (and the sparse documentation) I am loving this mod.

Hey, AtomicStryker, what's going on with your webpage? It's been walled off by Google for malware or something along those lines, just wanted to see what was going on with that before I navigated to it.

What ever happened to DOF with no Motion Blur? It's been a while since I had a shaders mod installed, but I could have sworn there was a version that just had DOF. The reason I ask is because I personally find Motion Blur distasteful (it usually blurs too much of the screen space so I always disable it).

Any chance we could get support for variable size portal frames like the nether portals? I want to work a Twilight Forest portal into a building I am making but I use a 3x3 grid rather than a 2x2.

Please read through the last several pages of this thread, others addressed the issue there (From the looks of it, the only way that you can fix the issue is by deleting all the CTM files in the resource pack, nobody posted a solution to the crash besides that).

As for the lack of liteloader versions, when installing Liteloader, you have to use the dropdown menu that says extend from and then click your Forge version. That will chain it to Forge and create a new user profile that uses the name you specified when installing.
The final option is to just extract the jar to your .minecraft/mods/1.7.10 directory, and Forge will treat it as any other Forge mod.
This should help all of you having issues with the installation.

I posted earlier on how to get MAtmos 1.7.10 working, so I am reposting for those of you having issues.

Here is a link to Ha3's MSI conversion. This is the resource pack that works with MAtmos 1.7.10
The link was in the post directly above yours. Please browse the thread a little before asking questions.
