    Okay, so I think I had an idea to make this even more realistic. A long while back, there was a mod called "Moods Mod." It made you keep track of every aspect that you would have to in reality: Temperature, tiredness, dirtiness, cold/wet... I think that would make this mod very interesting. Also, it would be cool if you could disable the default inventory (All the stuff above your hotbars), and which would make you get a Backpack! (Which could be crafted from wool and/or leather.)

    PLEASE bring back the Moods Mod! It added a whole new feeling to survival, and combined with TerraFirma Craft, it might very well be the closest to real survival as MineCraft could ever get. Please bring it back, it was one of my favorite mods back in the beta days!

    XythonCraft is an attempt at bringing together all aspects of MineCraft (Survival, RolePlay, Construction, etc.) into one server, and keeping it realistic and authentic at the same time. It is brand new, therefore nothing is built and it is not open yet. We have much planned, and if you want in, send an email to [[email protected]] with the following info:
    • Minecraft Name

    • Previous Builds (Videos or Pictures.) (I don't care about laggy videos, just so long as they are videos.)

    2 things:
    First off, you should add an option to Biosphere: Light Walkways. Lights up walkways with torches, on suspended wooden planks, or whatever you have your walkway set to.

    Second, what seeds are there for Biosphere? Like, any special ones, such as the regular: Glacier?

    I ma asking, because in a seed i did a trial in, i had to travel about 1k-3.5k to find towns.
    Example only:
    That is 1k that way (perhaps north) 2k other way(peraps south) 3.5k a third way (possibly west)
    I did see big open places on the way, but perhaps the mountains/hills around there did hinder it creating one.
    And islands being too small in some other cases.
    Sill seems like a faar way to walk between em. >_<

    oh and i know it is bad practice on my part, but that was on a 0.2.2 i think.
    I am installing the current one now, as i am wondering if it makes a difference.
    Oh and are the seeds one use blocking something when they try to pop up?



    It's how far villages are away from eachother. If you want them closely packed, lower it. If you want them spread apart, raise it.

    Thank you so much for making this mod. I love it so much I'm going to write an article about it (Which I will post later)

    So in thanks, and because I want something to do while waiting for an update, I thought I'd write down my list of suggestions and such for later versions of the mod. (These will also be included in the article)

    1. Nations

    It would be nice if the various villages started banding together to form city-states, and then eventually countries that fight for land and sovereignty. The idea that a castle could actually house a king is cool. Perhaps different skins, and giving a purpose to the towns having armor and weapons, since mobs don't really attack villagers. Being able to pledge allegiance to a kingdom would also be part of this. Take up sides with one on the conflict, or perhaps just sit back and watch them go at it.

    2. Technological Evolution

    Now I'm not going to go as far as saying "Let's make them start at caveman and go modern" because I want to make it clear that it's not the point of what I'm saying right now. For instance, since the towns grow with more materials and they get bigger and more complex. I'd like to see the towns evolve into more trade friendly towns. Perhaps exchanges (And like someone suggested earlier) rail stations to other towns that they are friendly with. I'd like to see the towns go from dirt hovels with a wood roof, into sprawling urban cities that build walls around themselves to keep out invaders (Both creeper and other villagers)

    3. More Types of Villager.

    Traders: Villagers that spend all their daylight time going to other towns and trading one material for another, the idea that the player has to do most of the work for the villages to get bigger is annoying sometimes.

    Miners: Villagers that go seeking caves to find ores (Not necessarily for personal use). Perhaps adding Gold, Redstone, Iron, etc to the list of salable materials by the village will give it more of a trading feel instead of me feeding resources at the villagers and getting money back that I hardly use, because wood is easy to acquire, and I don't need bread that often.

    Solders/Guards: This one is pretty self explanatory. Villagers that arm themselves with weapons and armor and keep the other villagers safe. These villagers could be introduced when the town gets big enough (In population and in physical size) that safety is required by the villagers.

    Thieves: Villagers that do their regular job during the day, however at night they go into other people's houses, or the village storehouse to steal items. Perhaps they even travel to other villages and steal their stuff (In wartime situations they could be called Spies). Most likely a villager type to be introduced soon before guards are needed, as a physical catalyst for requiring Guards/Soldiers.

    4. Sleeping Villagers. I'm just going to assume that someone has bitched/talked about this before, but give my points as well. It's creepy to walk out of a cave after a night of mining and see all the villagers just milling about at 2AM. All of them, not just a few, all of them. Please villagers, get some sleep and stop doing so much meth.

    5. Villager AI Improvements:

    This is going to be a catchall for little things that I can suggest, but nothing that requires it's own section.

    Building: Figuring out how to get the villagers to build a coherent and feasible village on the side of a mountain is going to be a ***** I understand, but I'd still like to see clifftop cities. Take it even one step further, having villagers build homes into the side of mountains would be just freaking awesome. Deep in caves, underground, anything of the sort. It just seems like a really cool idea.

    Personality: I love that the villagers say little things to you when you walk by, or they say things when you enter a shop. I'd love them to say more, personality types, little scripted dialogues between villagers. Hell, I'll write some for you just toss me a PM and I'll be more than happy to contribute instead of just standing on this soapbox and shouting suggestions. This feature could tie in with guards/thieves and nations. The king having an Archetype (Regal and Good, Tyrannical and Evil. etc)

    And I think I've run out of ideas, but I'm sure more will come to me.

    This mod is one of the greatest ones I've found for minecraft so far, and it gives me a reason to play single player again. With the bitter crushing loneliness that I feel in single player when I'm alone, I really hope that everyone updates their mods so you can update Milliénaire as soon as possible.

    <3 the mod. A million :Diamond: to you. Feel free to comment on my ideas/suggest your own. I would like to encourage positive and constructive comments in this tread as compared to people wondering why the mod isn't updated and bitching about it.


    You see, I like this idea, but the cities can't get too big, and they have to be pretty far apart. To keep the feeling of being stranded a bit, you know? That's why I deleted Builders, is because they built EVERY-****ING-WHERE and took that feeling out of the game... Good idea, though!


    EDIT: ALMOST FORGOT: I would like to see warring villages as well. Imagine walking through the Savannah, and coming up on two villages on fire with soldiers killing each other out front... Hehehe.
