Painted wood isn't actually happening, though.
He redacted it.
What?! D: Really? I would have loved painted wood. It has so many creative applications... It seems like he took it away because people wanted tinted GLASS more than the wood...
But the Elucidator wasn't his strongest sword. Shouldn't Diamonds be the Crystals from the dragon, and then the Diamond Sword be the Dark Repulser? I believe Iron would be a better substitute for the Elucidator and would make iron looks pretty interesting.
I see you've been redoing a lot! My only question is, have you been able to fix the Village Generation? When I used this before, there was no villages anywhere, ever. I figure now that you've been poking at the code, you could maybe even add in custom villages using some of the new materials the mod comes with! It would help make things easier and more compatible with other mods is all :C Thaumcraft is different when you're missing things like the Wizard and Mutants.
Have you ever considered releasing a Mod for the Female Body type you use in this mod? I sure would adore actually looking like a girl when I use my skins :C
I would like to report a nasty bug with the Sword of Zephyr!
Whenever enchanting it with something like Sharpness or Smite, should you use it on multiple enemies, it will ALSO damage you, often killing you or shredding your armor. This is confirmed as suicide because when you die it says "FrayFray has been slain by FrayFray" This only happens when fighting GROUPS of enemies, never one on one. So far I've only been able to test it while fighting Zombie Pigmen (as they're the easiest to get in group), but I will also conduct tests for Overworld mobs too.
I posted my own workaround to this bug a few pages back. At least I think its the same bug, you havent said anything about crashing when exiting the game. But I bet you have mipmaps enabled. Just open the thaumcraft zip and find the file burst.png and resize it to half.
Hmn... You are correct, sir. My game DOES crash when I exit, after it loses my textures. I also do have Mipmaps enabled (can't stand the static jarring all over the place). That's good to know, though. It seems there are two fixes for this now! Resize the burst.png, or join a server for a few seconds.
Are you sure its not Thaumcraft or any of your other mods? Try playing with just OF and Forge enabled, and see if it persists.
You're also using the preview D3 version, if that makes a difference.
I won't rule out the possibility, as I have not ran the two alone. Though I HAVE found a simple remedy for the situation:
When you notice that textures go missing, join any multiplayer server and look at the normal set of GUI. If it's normal online, then you can jump back to Singleplayer. They should be there when you come back. If this doesn't work, then close Relog into Minecraft and join a server again. If the GUI textures are STILL not there after this, then I suppose this isn't a cure-all. For the time being, this makes for a useful fix.
In the mean time, I will experiment without mods included. I'll be back once I figure out if Optifine doesn't like the mods or if it's just Forge in general.
Sorry to have to do this, but I'm curious about a certain problem I'm having.

Excuse me for poking at you a little here, but I do have one question... If you spec'ed out your computer and had 92 FPS running vanilla... why would you need Optifine? It's made for the more low-to-mid range computers that will hardly see more than 20 FPS.
Yes it is. People report that its even compatible with the newest latest version of Forge, even though I haven't tested it.
Currently using Optifine D3 and Forge #524, modded with Dynamic Lights, Twilight Forest, and Thaumcraft 3.
While playing on single player, I noticed that ALL GUI textures are missing, showing only "Missing Texture" in the background. I am using the Default Texture pack and have experienced this problem many times before while using Forge #490(?) and Optifine C3. I did some poking around and researched the issue (Forge forums point at Optifine) and have tested for myself by removing Optifine from my selection of mods. Once removed, the textures return...
While it does still run and functions as it should, the missing textures on all GUI puts a massive damper on actually playing Minecraft.
Finally downloaded Thaumcraft! It looks really cool from videos I've seen, and I've been having some fun toying around with it myself. Could anyone suggest any good Texture Packs with thaumcraft 3 support? I've been using Vanilla textures since I downloaded Twilight Forest and Biomes'o'Plenty, and it's kinda annoying.
Bonus points if the texture pack has support for all three~<3

A bugfix for this would be greatly appreciated.

Any tool should do. I usually grab a Hoe just because it's convenient.

Lol! I should also do something about Thaumcraft 3 and Biomes'o'plenty too. I'm getting tired of using the default packs..!

On this topic, I was actually hoping to make some Twilight Forest and Biomes'o'plenty support for Dandelion.
