I don't think you understand how patreon works... (I don't use patreon but I do know what it's about. I was considering getting one awhile back because I'm a poor artist)

You don't understand how the Minecraft EULA works. He's charging for access to the beta via Patreon. This is 100% illegal, plain and simple.
As to the currently available one for 1.7.10: it's rather broken at the moment as it requires several Minetweaker recipe fixes to get some of the crops working.
This is not a cash grab at all, I barely have time to code much any more so Magical crops 4 is a very slow W.I.P and it needs testing every time I change something. In no way am I saying you have to pay to get the BETA, since why would I give it to some packs in the AT Launcher if I wanted to force everyone to pay me to get it. The Patreon it purely support, In no way am I forcing people to support me, it's a bonus for the support and shouldn't be the reason you are supporting me in the first place. If I didn't offer BETA downloads and was still getting the same amount of support would that also be wrong?
Saying that I will be changing how I do BETAs and Magical crops soon as I'm not getting enough feedback that I need to fix the mod. So soon I will be giving Patreon supports the latest BETA and then the BETA before that I will be releasing to the public.
Except for one fundamental problem: You're charging for access to a mod, which is 100% against the Minecraft EULA. You're lucky you haven't been shut down thus far, i'd suggest opening up the beta to everyone if you want to stay legit.
i have a minor issue, i can't find tainted soil, heat sand and ghostwood trees. anybody having the same problem?

I think people are still stuck on AE2 RV1-stable because they think that "stable" in this case means bug-free or crash-free rather than unchanging, unsupported, and abandoned.
Given that Ender IO dropped support for RV1 in a recent update there's probably not many that still run RV1 anymore.
The Enchanter doesn;t work right now. Either remove TT, reboot and then reinstall or use a world editor to remove the Enchanter and cheat the Primal Crusher back in.
Don't have to use the world editor even, set these two lines to true in the forge config:
B:removeErroringEntities=false
B:removeErroringTileEntities=false
Start game, forge will remove the enchanter, from there you shut it down and then turn those both false again.
Is there any way to disable the annoying semi-constant announcements in chat when killer joe has killed something.. it even does that when it is 60+ blocks away it seems.
I think that's a thaumcraft thing with v4.2.3.0, I get it with MFR and the grinder. I noticed I got it as well when I was dealing with blood magic, the only common factor was when the loot items dropped.
Nice, didn't even think of that one but that really is effectively the same as getting it from a wand anyway and it should force it to be reasonably end game for you to have an energized node. (no skipping wand tiers)
As of the initial release there will be no vis discounts, however that is planned. The assembler assumes that it has, or will have, enough vis to perform a craft and always reports as ready so long as you have the items.
Does it pull the vis from the internal storage or from a wand attached to the system somehow?
will you be adding computers, and frames (those frames that had in redpower 2 that with a motor, they move)? It would be awsome so you can make those framed quarrys!
Frames already exist in several different formats. See one of these two mods:
Remain in Motion (has computercraft support)
Funky Locomotion
Another one or two may exist but I can't think of any others right now.
Waila if it works it is great.. However it seems to be a steaming pile of.... I cannot use the 1.58+ because it required the latest NEI and the two combined lag the hell out of my world and keep crashing my world.
When I go back to 1.55 wailia and the latest NEI, NEI doesn't show anything 0/0...
When I use 1.55 waila and a somewhat older NEI it does show the pages but it lags the hell out of things (like crafting in AE2/opening AE2 terminals)
Grab v1.5.7a, that one fixes the memory leak that lead to the lag issue.
It's a known bug in the current version. Most of us use Minetweaker to fix it temporarily. I'm not remembering how much the recipe is supposed to yield but the minetweaker script was posted in the thread somewhere. (if only I could remember who posted it, but my memory is unreliable at best.)

I took a quick look and didn't see a setting to do such unless I utterly missed something.

I ask because of the shiny new Curse client with automatic updating for all mods hosted on Curse.

That's an issue for extra cells, not thaumic energistics.
better to just use the normal drives, the fixtures are iffy at best.
