    I tried it in 1.8 and it works I just relized that you have to have the right name in the init -> clonespawn statement AND the update -> if (nameof.name == "rider") so if you change your riders name you have to change it these 2 places

    Ok so I tried this and pasted the code in, but its not working out and idk why, I went through the code and it seems fine. I feel like something may have changed from the 1.7 to 1.8 version of the mod causing this to not work as intended or maybe I'm just not seeing something. So yes I am using this with the 1.8 version of the mod. In init it won't spawn the rider and in update it gets into the for loop but cannot enter the if statement even though it does know that rider is there(I checked by using npc.say(nameof.name);) so it won't mount. And I made sure to put the clone in server side. Any idea whats wrong?

    ps. I am unfortunately on a mac from now to about a week from now. could this be part of the problem?

    Hey Noppes, good to see you still working on this great mod. I'm curious, is it possible to make it so that NPC's can respawn on their mount? I can't seem to figure out how. Also, if this is not currently possible, do you think this would be possible in a future version of the mod? I'm running the 1.8 version if thats relevant.

    Yeh I'm not sure either... I found one in the forum here that noppes posted just a little bit before he posted the new update, but i dont think he's updated the front page yet.

    Hey noppes, just making sure u know, the download link at the front page of this post is still for the 1.6.4 version. I'm using what I think is the most recent 1.7.4 version, and the jukebox and background functionalities for the bard are switched, and the has off distance switch doesn't do anything and it still has an off distance when it is switched to no.

    Hey, testing new version. When I change the position off set of npc's so they can sit in "chairs" (stairs), nothing happens and they won't move accordingly. Possible glitch?

    Thank you for adding the mail thing to dialogues and quests! It's working great, but when ever I delete a mail, It has the delete confirmation screen asking if I'm sure I want to delete this NPC. Also in select music it says select texture.

    Testing, first thing I notice is that the bard role will not play custom music or sounds in my resource pack that has been working up to this point, but will still play the default sounds and music included with the mod... whats wrong?

    How are you checking if it is saving your player data?

    I made some dialogues on two separate npcs. I made one dialogue available from the start, and the other after you read the first. The one that was supposed to only be able to be used after the first was already available before I read the first. I cleared my playerdata, which didn't delete my world this time, and tried again and got the same results. I also made dialogue on another world. The npc was supposed to say one thing before you talk to another and once you read that other dialogue he would switch to the other. Everytime I talked to the other one first, the npc that was supposed to switch just stayed on the initial dialogue. Am I downloading the wrong version? I downloaded from the most recent link on the last page. Maybe you should make a new link?

    Actually, it turns out that when I thought that one world got deleted, it actually just deleted the level.dat files

    For those that downloaded the test version, you might want to redownload. There was a small bug where playerdata wasnt being saved correctly


    I redownloaded it, and it still doesnt save player data, and it deleted my world when I tried to go to the playerdata tab.
