    Actually, they did a little more than just updating the Halo mashup and launching another Halloween mashup, there's a bit more to it, go check the TU changelog.

    How much I wish that texture pack was updated due to the new mashup release! Also I heard that there will be no more of that texture pack, according to Roger Carpenter, so like us, whoever already had this texture pack before is keeping this jewel, but to those that didn't get it last year...this mashup pack might be your only hope.

    Whatever it is I don't think I will be able to afford this Mashup yet. And well, as long as this stays permanently in the store with all the other Mashups, I might have a chance to buy this on christmas when I get more money, and nope, I'm not north american or european, if you checked my ID you will know where I'm from.

    At least I already have the Halo Mashup so it will be upgraded for free on me.

    also, this may seem ungrateful of my part, but don't we already have a free Halloween texture pack? I feel like adding 43 character skins and a custom map with said textures looks a bit unnecessary.

    Not only those but there's this speculation about a red sand beach on the screen as well, close to these two dead bushes, to the left of the screen, but I don't think that's true. Might be just some yellow stained clay.

    Was it ever so hard to realize that we are not alone in the vastness of space? It's only a matter of when will we get technological improvement to actually make contact with other sentient creatures, light years away from us. Though we're just not advanced enough to make it happen.

    Here's a bug I found someone reported on 4J's Twitter and tested it yesterday as well:
    "name tags aren't working when you try to put them on animals. Is there going to be a bug fix for them?"


    Name tags aren't working at all if I want to set a name for my mobs. If I want, let's say use the _jeb or Dinnerbone feature on a sheep, now I have to rename the spawn egg instead of the name tag for the feature to work properly. Just what the hell?

    As far as I remember, over the past 2 years when 4J launches this texture pack (and might do it again this year) they release it on October 29th, 2 days before Halloween itself and it gets available on all platforms. That's why I don't trust youtubers when it comes to release dates, they tend to be wrong almost all the time.

    Well, only thing we can do is wait then. Also I can't remember but was the "renaming map, map gets deleted" bug already fixed? I have only one Creative map I've spent a full year on and want to change its name, but I don't want to lose it again.

    Yeah, I tried both methods more than once and the same thing happens. It's like the game recognizes that one remaining firework rocket as a different item from the same other 63 rockets, and we've seen this happening before with doors two bug fixes ago right?

    I think I just found a bug related to fireworks. I've had a full stack of fireworks in a dispenser and decided to fire one away, then I wanted to refill it with another firework from the same type, but it's not adding up to the other 63 fireworks I have on the dispenser. It simply won't add up, like if I had a different type of firework in my hand, but no, it's the same one I fired.


    If you still don't understand what I said, try this:
    -Open a Creative map;

    -Place a dispenser and put a full stack of any firework inside it;

    -Launch a firework;

    -Now try to get this same firework rocket back using the Creative menu;

    -Try to add it to the remaining 63. Not gonna work.

    That's what I thought as well before they announced to be working on the big 1.8 update. But as they already stated, the next couple of TUs will be smaller and try to add every 1.7.2 feature bit by bit, so we will never fully know what's to come in the next TU before 4J says so. Anything beyond that is just speculation, sad but true.

    Oh, is it? I thought at first he was a modded, custom texture pack by the way he called it. So I have no clue of what happened to his builds with D. Oak slabs at all.
