Quote from Kageon
When did i say "Buy a pre-built desktop"?
And i have build 7 and half pc's(one is actually right now being built).
And it's so easy, when i first time build a pc i thought "This is already broken"
and after the first one: "easier than legos"
You just need to believe you can fly.
Nobodys talking about building one, i think you cant even build a laptop?
I would never brag about building a laptop, thats waaaaay over my skill set
Please take your #SWAG and #YOLO and leave the premises post haste.
You know, some people do require laptops. Yes, a lot of the time it will just end up sitting on a desk. But on a lower budget like this, a laptop is a better option. It comes with all the peripherals you need plus it will most likely be about the same power as any desktop you get at that price range.

... Minecraft isnt ram or cpu intensive its gpu intensive...... its default set to half a gig - 1 gb of ram... allocating more will not help unless you're using a high res texture pack or somthin that actually uses ram..

For somthing like raid 0 you get the full size of both drives but if one fails you lose all your info. This is a amd build but if you want a intel / nvidia build or are going to play seriously demanding games. I can bump up the graphics card to a 770 or somthin like that.

Pretty sure overclocking also voids warranty but I dont think they can tell if you overclocked or not.

Having a virus shouldn't affect your fps or performance at all if removed properly. Also if you got a virus before installing optifine wouldn't the most obvious thing to do be remove it? After removing it everything should be normal, and i highly dont recommend leaving it on your pc.
No...... dont buy a alienware of cyberpower... there both really bad

Don't know? Download a program called speccy and post a screen shot,
These aren't 800 watts but are good quality power supplys, your rig probably will not use 800 watts.
(Most psu's are like 110$)

Yes but its extremely overkill. Is minecraft the only game you're playing? if its not and you plan on playing some other not so demanding games i would just get this since its half the price which leaves money for future upgrades

Ram won't benefit you in pretty much anyway after 8 gbs unless your doing somthing like video editing / render etc, and yes it will max out bf3, although i would get this build since its cheaper.

You wont need more then 8 gbs for gaming, games normally use like 0.5 - 3gbs of ram, also the XT is almost as good as a 7950, instead of him switching to a i3 i would recommend a fx 6300 since its about the same price but its more powerful

You also get free games
