I somehow generated a fountain of infinite tin from the bloomery. You may want to look into the clamping on ore amounts in it. What I did was, I made a bloomery, put in a lot of coal and a bit of magnetite, went searching for clay for a while. When I got back and made my ceramic molds, I put one into the bloomery and it generated some seemingly unheatable wrought iron. Since the iron was out, I added cassiterite, and got some molds only half full of tin. Now, the data says Ore: 0.0kg, and it's filling all my molds completely full of unshaped tin whenever I place one in.
as you can see under the supports it's safe, but when i've gone to expand my mine without the supports it has collapsed
This would be a good thing to put in the Screenshots section. It looks nice, and shows off the supports well.
EDIT: Also, is Tetrahedrite supposed to smelt into silver? It says it smelts into copper on the wiki, and Wikipedia says silver only occurs in such quantities in Freibergite.
My pick can't get into Lignite either. Either I'm not using the right tool at all, or something's wrong.
EDIT: In creative mode, there are four types of stone pick. Perhaps I need to fashion one out of a harder rock type?
DOUBLE EDIT: That doesn't seem to solve it. I made a pick from Rhyolite, which is igneous extrusive and hard enough to make anvils, and it won't dig into the ore.
I've been playing the mod for a while, and getting used to the prospecting pick, but I've come across an interesting problem. I've started a new world for B1F, and I settled in a cave. Prospecting the area told me it had limonite as well as some graphite, so after a long while of mining around for it, I came across some ore. Unfortunately, my stone pick couldn't mine the material. I figured I'd need a pick of some easier-to-obtain metal, so I explored a little until I detected galena at the bottom of a lakebed. After mining for that, my pick couldn't break that ore either! Are there awfully specific tiers of ore that a stone pick can actually obtain?
